I have twins. Boy has curly hair like my grandfather (and me as a child) and white skin, farang appearance (shorter than his twin) and a squarish face (Thai i guess), western nose. Girl has Thai nose, Thai completion (slightly darker) straight hair till her neck then goes curly, more like a mixed thai/westerner. I'll update when the Third one arrives. I've been here over a decade, i bought a visa (elite) not because x was cheaper/costier but because i value my time and didn't need annoyances of dealing with visa's. This doesn't change that there are hundreds of thousands of people using agents, and these agents are essentially paid a premium to grease the wheels of immigration officers in many cases, and a lot of people shouldn't be here as i highlighted above, and are essentially doing visa fraud, and money laundering.

Should start investigating all these agents, lot of laundering there with fees paid to the agents to secure visas, and funds handed over in bags to immigration officers to approve them.

The elite card was a process that took 6-8 weeks, and was meant to go through a number of criminal background checks, domestic, international and citizen based. You paid for the idea of doing it once and never having to deal with immigration routinely again in such a slow/archaic manner in which they deal with extensions etc Where there are numerous criminals (soft/hard) is in the form of those that utilise visa agents, one of my old neighbours can hardly walk but his passport goes over the border once a year for example. I spoke to a Burmese builder owner and he said he doesn't deal with immigration but has agents for it, because it's 'easier' he's been here about 15 yrs and brought his entire family over.

Not really. Under Thai law, if you divorce your wife you / she gets 50% each. Under Thai law - In court. The justice system here follows the law... no whims of a Thai in the court room... there's three judges for that reason. Under Thai law if you use a company, it's 49% ownership opposed to 51%.

We've got two 30m wells. -New One (Empty) can get about 30mins of water a day (services the garden/pool). -Old one - No issues (services the home). -Just arranged for a bore well (100m) going in this month. -Currently have 1-5 trucks of water a week (300 baht a load) delivered (building) but will also likely start collecting water instead of sending it down the road. Been getting worse and worse over the past five years.
