  1. not a better promotion of the opposition movement, than from the mouth of the unelected pm.

udomdej is a goner, he might be consider himself lucky not being locked or murdered:

"There was unconfirmed reports that the former army chief Gen Udomdej Sitabutr is to resign as deputy defence minister within this month after his two aides were allegedly found to involve with the lese majeste gang operated by “Mor Yong”, a once famous fortune teller who died in military custody of blood infection."

  2. what a hononary consul received in october was just a general warning, after russians started to bomb isis in retaliation for a russian airplain. His job is to issue visas, travel documents and help to russians in emergencies. He has nothing to do with security, not more than installing additional cctv at the consulate and telling local cops and governor about the risk.

what russian security gave to thai was a specific information, but it happen later, sometimes in november. Only on 27.11 it was send for a wider distribution, market as urgent and secret, rather not to police, but thai intelligence. The local police commanders in phuket and pattaya learned about it only from mass media.

as to ambassador, he is a diplomat, he might know a lot, but wouldn't talk publicly.

  3. how any ambassador would think and feel, if his country security services are passing secret and urgent info to their thai counterparts, and within a few days this secret is leaked to the press?

it's an obvious, that he is mocking thai government, for what they did - informing terrorists that they are known and giving them time to run away.

in a diplomatic language "We do not have any official information" means, that there is no statement from moscow, and what russian secret service know or what other information ambassador has, is nobody business. If he wants to say something, for example a warning to russian citisens in thailand, the consulate would issue a statement. He doesn't have to say anything to a journalist from the Nation - that's the job of his press secretary.

the whole affair might be just a turf war between thai spooks and cia against russian inteligence.

quite sure, that those 10 isis terrorists had to abandon their plan and are running. The second cell would be taking over the job, and it would take some time

  4. "to take action against the whistleblower behind the memo "

whistleblower is somobody who reveals company/country wrongdoings.

so far the motive of a leak is unknown. It well might be hindering russian work against isis, so it can be a controlled leak, planned by the government.

the report was secret, even chief police in pattaya and phuket (towns named in the paper) only known about it from the mass media.

as too syrians - isis did capture immigration offices with blank passports, they use them to send operatives. People using them might be from any country in the world, including americans and europeans. It's pretty easy in thailand to switch to another passport, whether real or fake. Corrupt immigration officials are doing it for 20k baht, including stamping and putting on a computer system

  5. "Spokesman of the Internal Security Operation Command Maj Gen Banphot Poonpien said Thailand is not a disputed country with any country and therefore the authenticity of the document is pending verification from persons mentioned in the document."

the terrorists are after russians and other actively fighting with isis.

they came to thailand, because thai emmigration is corrupt and they are able to come and go at will for 20k baht per stamp, no passport check for validity.

with thai security at shambles (erewan bombing is a proof), thailand is an easy choice for commiting atrocities. Inevitably, there would be thai citisens at risk. But the junta spokesman doesn't care about their countrymen, does he?

  6. Has anyone phoned Pol Maj Gen Sravuth to ask him if the document is real? Or is that too much to expect?

If the the Syrians came on Oct. 15 th( three weeks ago) or Oct. 31( one week ago), it should be long enough to confirm if the document was real.

Also why hasn't Pol Maj Gen Sravuth Kanpanich, shared this information to commissioner Pol Lt Gen Sanit Mahatavorn( His boss ) ?

the russiand gave a tip only on 27.11, over a month after syrians entered thailand.

the thai document was leaked only yesterday evening.

the thai police and spooks are playning the game, denying any responsibility for the incoming tragedy

  7. Does anyone know if the Russian Embassy issued any travel warning for their citizen?

Edit: I just had a look at their website- Njet! No travel warning! I find this rather strange...

it's only 9:20am in moscow, ministry of foreign affairs just opened. They would have to talk first with their security department. After that only embassies are allowed to reprint the warning.

they are now in a middle of a heat up with turkish

  8. the 2 reds were arrested and detained for 10h by armed military, even before entering the park. The park's offices are located within, and that's where is to start with getting some documents to corruption.

the minister knows well, that the reds won't be able to bring hard evidence to him, he is just trying to mock them

I wouldn't think park offices are open for any and all to come in and look at documents???? A legal request would normally be required, right?

they are legal representatives of the political party, they have announced that they are coming.

that's why they were stopped way before the park.

but the real reason they have decided to go by person, and be arrested, was to bring back into public attention case of corruption.

the military earlier tried to shut any news and discussion on the subject, warning journalists and the public, even going as far as faking an assasination plot during bike for dad.

  9. in the news

"Thai security was placed at maximum after the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) warned Thailand to keep watch on 10 Syrian nationals who it said have entered Thailand and they have links to the Islam State (IS) group"

so the document is authentic and by leaking it thai spooks wanted to hinder relations with russia.

now watch for bombs, thanks to thai security services. They won't be able to hit ambassies and diplomats, who are protected and armed, but tourists travelling by busses, trains to/from the airport, new year eve's parties

  10. the commissioner should not comment on the issue, if he suspected that the document was forged.

I do think, that for whatever reason thai police intentionally warned those 8 known to them and those 2 unknown to clear off. They might be already leaving the country, and the second cell will take over the job.

a clear message to russians, that's thailand is dependent on cia country

  11. in a semi-feudal society, which is thailand, corruption is a form of lord-vassal relation. The lord supports vassal in exchange for 10% cut of his income, it's just protection money.

that model exists in army, police, civil service. So protection money tricles from the "road fines", envelopes inder the tables in town offices up the structure, to the ministries.

to get into army or police accademy, cadets have to pay hundreds of thousands baht, one of my nephew had to pay 300k. Money is paid for passing entry exams. To become a civil servant, you either have to have family connections (and become yet another member of this family mafia) or pay to the superiors.

Each transfer to a higher position in a hierarchy involves the same.

It's obvious, that in the case of curroption in the park, money went also up to the top generals, ministry of defence and including PM office. That's why the military won't clean this act.

  12. interpol has nothing to do with overstaying visa or fake passport/identity. It's the responsibility of the local immigration police.

turkey was harbouring those 2 suspected terrorists for over 3 months. They have known, that she didn't have a valid visa, her visa didn't finish just yesterday but sometimes ago. His false identity was known from the beginning, at least since the middle of august. Their address was known to police, even journalists were able to trace her and take interviews.

it's only now the turkish government decided to act under pressure from eu (mainly france), nato, russia and usa and accused of helping terrorists, sponsoring them. By giving away those suspects turks are trying to clear their name.

those 2 arrested, as well as the remaining 15 for whom thai put arrest warrants for terrorism, are not all terrorists, but people smugglers.

Wanna Suansan, the wife, was just earning money from her flat in bkk, as a safehouse for illegal immigrants. As to bank transfers to her husbands accounts - terrorists to operate with cash, which is difficult to trace and detect

there is a big chance, that those 2 men arrested in bangkok for erewan, are just chinese muslims, who were on it's way to turkey. They were tortured into confession. So the real perpetrators are still on the run. Probably in turkey, or even syria by now.
