???? Statistics of proactive COVID-19 screening by ATK and RT-PCR methods in Bangkok area classified by district group
???? Data during 26 Jul. - 30 Aug. '64
???? There is a total of all those who are examined.
???? ATK type = 148,879 cases
????️ found = 28,025 cases
????️ No infection = 120,854 cases
???? RT-PCR type = 55,809 cases
????️ found = 33,668 cases
????️ No infection = 21,199 cases
Data from the Office of Public Health Coroner as of 30 Aug.
So there is average 5600 case/day from ATK test what is not in official daily numbers! Also like North East numbers have come way down from over 4000/ day todays 1543 case! They not export sick people anymore to other provinces so North East numbers look also much "better"! All people what before get treatment in home province now have isolated in BKK area home! And all numbers look really nice! If you add those ATK numbers in daily numbers, numbers has not drop at all!

Ok, I've been here half that figure and not heard it aside from a few who were hesitant to take Sinovac.
Yeah Brian you live in Phuket not in upper Isaan lol.
My mother and father in law has moved in mountain farm, far away from all people. They not going to take chinese vaccine. When they sure they get some "western" stuff they take. Mother in law is 78 years old in paper actualy she is 68 years old. In paper she is older than her sister who born 5 years earlier.

So they make 4224 test and find 3989 case! Nice that test not going wasted! Good to get almost 100% result from test!

I think i even little believe these numbers. Not every province "fake" numbers. Like in North East numbers have come way down! People has isolate them self coz they are scared, even mom&pop shops not allow anyone to enter shop! They bring stuff in front door . Bars and restaurants has been open all the time like in last year, different is now nobody go to eat out , people only buy takeaway food if not make in home.

Looks like we are seeing a downtrend based upon the numbers posted for the provinces. Udon Thani is now down under 60 cases, where a few days ago they were almost at 200. One can only hope that these numbers are realistic and transparent and not manipulated by the ATK positive tests not being reported as a true case or those cases found in the Bubble and Seal projects. Lets see what next week brings as the provinces open up and relax some of the restrictions. As we each get older life throws us all curveballs and then removes folks from our lives. I just wish Covid did not take parents away from children like it has here in Thailand.
We dont know how many from those 200+ case's was delivered from BKK. They say that in every province own page's but cant read or write thai so cant watch. What Mrs. has show me before from Loei, most case's imported from BKK.

As you stated TR:
Starting on 1st September, some high risk businesses in the dark red zones, such as restaurants, can open, however only for people with a Green Card (fully vaccinated) or a Yellow Card (recovered from covid or have a negative ATK test within the last 7 days) #Thailand
https://twitter.com/ThaiNewsReports/status/1431156450500382726
So they think nobody cant get covid in 7 days time! Show the atk stick and wellcome , its only 6 days old stick!

I was looking for a reason to oppose your view, but I cannot. Israel new infections approach their second wave numbers....and deaths in this 3rd wave also are looking as high.....BUT Israel has had deaths under 100 for all but 1 day of the pandemic. I look to Israel and UK to tell us where we are going in this pandemic, as they both have well advanced vaccination efforts. Both places exhibit similar concerning behaviors.
My point was, when open up country infections increase sky high even in country where has high vaccination rate. So what going to happen in Thailand if they end they "lock down"!?
Wife and relatives think her aunt get covid when she was line to get vaccine! There was no social distance, after her first jab she get covid and now in critical situation . She was really careful before going to get vaccine, first time close contact to other people in long time.

Maybe it's the low vaccination of the population. Maybe it's because of low testing rates. Maybe it's because they don't trust the numbers. Maybe it's all three.
78% over 12 years old in Isreal are double jabbed. Stilll there is now huge
covid spread .
https://ourworldindata.org/vaccination-israel-impact
People not anymore wash they hands and keep social distance! 60% (covid patients) from all people in hospital is now double jabbed!

I think farang's are only one who speculate this infection numbers! Thais dont even watch numbers, because they know how fake all numbers are in LOS! I have many times ask our province numbers from Mrs. and she has respond " why you want to know, numbers dont tell s.h.t they can give any numbers they want"!!

Blame the organization which provides a 40% commission incentive to police personally on funds and items confiscated in drug busts. How can you expect to maintain an honest police force and justice in these conditions?
They still owe him 400 million baht.
https://www.nationthailand.com/in-focus/40005301
How easy to frame somebody! Police look "aha this guy has 3 nice cars, lets make home search and put few yaba pills there", then we can take his cars and get 40% of value to us! Crazy system never heard that kind before!

So check points was on so long that ahole get hes million! Funny thing is , this cop wage (Joe Ferrari) is smaler than my wife's (from governement work) still i havent seen wife has buy many cars.

I can’t let that one go.
The 40% rate is for testing of close contacts and hospital walk-ins. It is not representative of the positivity rate of the general population.
There has been pro-Active testing in Pattaya over the last 10 days, with a positivity rate under 4%.
Yes, I know: there isn’t enough testing ™️
So where you think other countrys counting positivity rate!? From walk-ins and testing people who are contact to infected one! Only difference is : In other countrys everybody can walk in and get tested!

They have little lower numbers( 2 days) because chance they test to ATK test what not put in official numbers!
Now already planing to open country! Good they are quick. Only thing when they ever quick is when need to <deleted>## up more things! Numbers about people who die or are in critical contition are still in same high level not show any sign numbers coming down there! Open up ? Maybe that is ok to open to people who are already vaxxed but dont use numbers to justify that!

Take long time before i know nobody that has pass away coz covid .Wife's aunt died in Loei coz covid RIP. She was over 3 weeks in ICU but lungs totally collapse.
Look like she get it vaccine line in BKK. 3 days after get Sinovac jab in Bkk tested covid positive. She tell place was packed whit people whitout any social distancing! I hope when they start mass vacination they also make sure people keep distance in those places!
Even has been hard year to most of people life still going on. I have get 2 Pfizer jab's and almost all my relatives here in Finland so to us things look better. Only worry now my son who is 11 years old, most cases here are now in age group 10-20 years old coz not vaccinated yet. Schools are open, bars are open and now they thinking to give up mask recommendation also. Even only 50% has used that anyway! Most "idiot" group of people seems to be 50+ fat a hole man's who dont give a f!
Been 10 month away from Thailand and thinking come back next month.
Happy thought folks keep safe.
