You mean the district and subdistrict? I only could solve it when filled in with Thai language. It looks as if the address has to be recognized by a database which not always recognize English language.

using chrome it is in english
after u put in province, ur given the district and than sub district
    For me
Phuket/ Kathu/Kamala  in the pop up

I've managed to register on the new TM30 website at https://tm30.immigration.go.th/tm30/#/login and submit a TM30. The docs I uploaded to register were my wife's ID card, blue house book and my passport ID page. After submitting my registration I was sent an email which I had to reply to to confirm my email address was correct. After I confirmed my email, I was sent another email approving my registration and a username and password. When logging in for the first time, you are forced to change your password. I then continued and added details of the house etc. Then I submitted a TM30. All seemed to work OK.

I used Edge browser because Brave did not show the Captcha and I didn't want to mess with Brave browser settings.

    i cant:
I add email, pass and captcha and click register
get Invalid user ID or password.

same goes if i click access the system
    ??

  6. ".....Consider leaving Thailand to Poipet (Thai immigration can annoy you, but nothing very bad can happen), then going on from there to Vientiane, getting your visa and returning via the Friendship Bridge to Nong Khai. "
    HUH:
leave thailand via poi pet and go  to Vientiane?
why not just head north and cross overland into Laos and visit Vientiane>
    doesn't make any sense
visa in PP, Thai visa takes 3-4 business days, need show $1,000 in a bank
$40 or use an agent cost ya $50

Cambodia to Laos is via 4,000 islands and a long bus ride up north and than cross at Savanakhet ( where you can also apply for a Thai visa)

Poi pet is an easy exit point to Cambodia just a hassle ( sometime ) to return via

If u are in poi pet head to battambang than Pailin an cross there to Thailand

  7. Just when most of us got it together, why make changes?

I have done many border runs to Cambodia and never physically entered the country,  always paid the couple of hundred baht for it to be done. Passport back by the time I had come out of duty free.

Bottom line is you won't be allowed to enter Thailand unless you have exited another country.

One time I was in the queue behind a couple of guys speaking English and could hear them talking. Sounded confused and like they hadn't done the Cambodian stamp. When they got to the desk police arrived and escorted them away.

UR passport entered Cambodia and you paid extra for that>
    same same

I have never understood the criminal mind.

Why not simply follow the rules?

why ?? cause many travel to Thailand and want to travel Overland to another country and /or have no idea where they are headed after thailand>>>

Airlines Make the  rule to cover their back in case the traveler is refused entry and the airline is responsible for their return.

Many fully refundable tickets do not refund the cc charge!!

    1. You must report at the Immigration Office that granted you your Extension of Stay.

    2. You may report online -- however, the Immigration Office may require you to attend in person for the first report.

    3. You may report by mail.

    4. You may use an agent to report (typically the fee of varies between zero and 500 baht).

OR you file a NEW TM 30 where your living and than do ur 90 day report there or online, UNLESS you are registered in Phuket and ur extension was obtained elsewhere, then you are NOT permitted to do ur online 90 day, BUT can use the drive thru

Or an agent can do it for you.

I had before a Lao as domestic help for six years. If nothing has changed, you need first to be eligible for obtaining a work permit for foreign domestic help. It was my Thai girlfriend that became eligible for employing a foreigner.

The actual work permit is a bit complicated – lots of paperwork and health check – so using an agent might be worth it. We paid 10,000 baht for the service, and find it was fully worth the money, as the agent made all arrangements with health check and interviews, including transportation to/from.

A work permit for domestic help from a neighbouring country is for two years, after which period you need to renew and do the process all over again – so we did it three times.

changed: before covid it was 2 years<"
NOW L-A extension/ Wp, health card & non Thai id card; ONLY 1 and same price
    just did them .
