  1. Let's see....a guy involved in a welfare scandal (Favre) vs LeBron James (who endorsed Harris on 31 October). James is not only an actual billionaire, he is the leading scorer in NBA history and arguably one of the two best players ever to play in the NBA. I admit Favre probably appeals to the Krackabamastan demographic and the old, non-college, bitter white men. LeBron, however, has millions more followers on his social media than the guy who schlepps copper-infused socks on late night infomercials. Advantage: Harris and James.
  2. It took the old man three tries to open the door of his latest garbage truck schtick. I imagine the truck was saying "In the back fat boy". Biden's garbage comment will lose zero voters. The garbage that is the felon's key demographic (remember "Jews will not replace us"?...How about "Camp Auschwitz"?) was always going to vote for him. Puerto Ricans, on the other hand, of which PA has hundreds of thousands and Florida millions, might put those two States in the Harris column. He seems to realize he is going to lose, as he's going apoplectic lying about fictitious voter fraud in PA, and even lying in a truth social post that he never said he would repeal Obamacare (there are plenty of videos available beginning in 2016 where he absolutely states he is going to repeal it, and even in the debate he spoke---after 9 years---of 'a concept of a plan'). In another trusth social post he asked, "Where are the jobs?" (record job growth under Biden-Harris). Remember fewer Americans were working when the felon left office than when he entered, the first time since Herbert Hoover. The attached data is from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, a department in the US Dept of Labor. It was produced before President Biden. Read it and weep. (By the way, note the relative performance of Dems vs Repubs...if you like employment, rather than welfare or Social Security Disability Insurance, best to vote Democrat.) Does this post sound like a guy who thinks he's going to win (the truth social tweet from 31 October):
  3. Calling those people, who might have voted (R), from "an island of floating garbage" might lose (R) votes. Calling people who were already going to vote (R) "garbage" is not going to lose any Dems votes. Ergo, no harm done, and truth was spoken. Old Joe hasn't lost his sense of smell.
  4. Speaking the truth might hurt the delicate snowflakes in the cult, but it is not a slur, or if it is, it is 100% justified. "Jews will not replace us" = garbage Jan 6 terrorists = garbage Supporters of military tribunals for no crime = garbage. America is a nation whose goal is equality, freedom and rule of law. None of those is a part of the ideology of the current (R) candidate. Dictator on Day One, retribution, military tribunals, critics classified as 'enemy within' are what gets that guy votes, which is the garbage that draws the flies, the two (flies and garbage) becoming symbiotic partners in anti-American ideology. The felon and Repubs welcome garbage inside their tent. In fact, without their garbage, they would never win an election.
  5. As sane and rational people expect, the felon issued one of his usual disclaimers re the "comedian" who disparaged Puerto Rico and its people. In an interview with softball pitcher and the man so far up the felon's backside he gets the first bite of a cheeseburger---Sean Hannity---the felon claimed "I don't know him, never heard of him" (he did leave out his usual "maybe he was a coffee boy?"). While sane people would know what the felon claimed about not knowing the guy is a bald faced lie, the other side of that would be that he is so out of touch and a sufficiently inept manager that he wouldn't put the kabosh on something that surely will harm his campaign by having such things said in his last major rally. His current 'best people' did remove the PAC post calling VP Harris the C-word, but chose to allow a speaker to use a line he had already been using in his recent shows about Puerto Rico. I guess that 'only the best people' thing must be more hyperbole, as so many of his former 'best people' (e.g., Pence, Kelly, Mattis, Bolton, Milley, McMaster, Cohn, Esper, etc.) have come out saying he is unfit for the Oval Office and a threat to democracy. Of course the felon calls all of them "deranged" or "losers". Next week he will be reminded again, as he was in 2020, what a real 'loser' is (though he will continue to scream 'rigged' and 'fraud').
  6. I'm going with #7....he spoke the absolute truth. Those who chant "Jews will not replace us" are garbage. Those who insist 6 Jan was a 'peaceful protest' and 'typical tourists' are garbage. Those who cheer comments about 'pardoning' convicted 6 Jan terrorists are garbage. Those who think it's "Presidential" and appropriate to spend 12 minutes discussing (jealously) the size of Arnold Palmer's junk, as if that is an important kitchen table issue for the US electorate, certainly could be characterized as garbage. Those who cheer comments about 'military tribunals' for critics or people who do their jobs, and who broke absolutely no law (e.g., Liz Cheney) are garbage. Those who cheer and support comments about revoking CBS' broadcast license because some petulant whining child did not like 'editing', or the same for ABC because its employees called out 2 or 11 blatant lies in the debate are garbage.
  7. Yes, we have to do something about the best economic growth since the late 1990s and the greatest amount of job creation ever. We simply cannot take that much goodness! Granted, those with no marketable skills and no necessary talents haven't been able to benefit, but no way the other guy could help such losers anyway. The world has left them behind. What the other guy has a unique skill---at least since Herbert Hoover---is messing up the economy and employment. Look at his sordid record: ---He inherited a growing economy from Obama and left Biden a Recession ---He is the first President since Hoover to leave office with fewer Americans employed than when he entered office. If he gets elected, he can do it again, just like his company. Six bankruptcies despite his dad co-signing all his loans, giving him a massive allowance since age 3, and leaving him $412,000,000. If I inherited that money, I wouldn't have to sell Chinese-made Bibles, silly NFTs or Golden Sneakers in order to pay fines and penalties for criminal behavior. If he gets elected, he will inherit a US economy that has grown three times the rate of the average G7 nation, plus extremely low UE. If anyone can mess up the success Biden-Harris brought us, it's him.
  8. The end is nigh....and always will be. Fiat money is always about to evaporate, any second now, even though they are currently more than 180 versions of it in every day use around the world. We all know fiat has no inherent value, but we collectively agree it's good enough. We pretend, so that we need not kill someone just to get a piece of meat. Neither does gold have any inherent value. Rarity or finiteness alone does not create value; it still requires that at least one side to any transaction believes something has value. Gold might have some value in a financial crisis, but it has absolutely no value in a financial calamity. Pensioners are going to stroll into a 7-11 with a diamond file, shave off a few grains of Au, and in return get their cheese toast? No. Necessities alone have actual value, and one man's necessity might be another man's excess. A man dying of thirst would do anything for a glass of water, but I guy with a hundred million gallons of potable water wouldn't give anyone a single baht for a glass of water. Talk of the so-called BRICS creating some alternative means of exchange are a fantasy. Weak economies banding together become a band of weak economies. Plus, none of the BRICS has any sort of reliable rule of law, so none is an attractive parking place for wealth. A massive set of capital markets with ease of entry and exit, such as the US has, is attractive. Besides, the future is technology in general and AI in particular. It's likely AI is going to provide a solution to virtually limitless energy, so the current 'gas station with nukes' (Russia) is likely to become a Blockbuster Video: loaded up with things nobody wants. If someday everyone collectively decided fiat was worthless, society would make Mad Max look like summer camp. Isolated arable land would have value. Guns and ammo would have value. Not being a fat old man trying to hide a few bars of gold would have value relative to the fat old gold bug. Thinking one can plan for a fat tail event is a fool's game. If fiat goes, civilization goes. There would be no refuge. It might make sense to plan for a financial crisis, as crises are temporary. A financial calamity is Armageddon, and survival might not even be worth the effort. Have a nice day.
  9. The latest ABC/Ipsos Poll, released Sunday, which shows Harris with a 2 pt lead nationally, breaks down the data into various demographics. The biggest lead the other guy has is among non-college educated white males, where he holds a 41 pt advantage, 68% to 27%. While intellect might not be directly correlated with education, the connection is likely pretty strong. If one is limited intellectually and talent-wise to jobs like janitor or truck driver, college is probably not part of the plan to career success. It is also quite likely that below average intellect makes a person susceptible to simplistic answers as well as a lack of ability to parse statements into fact or fiction, reality or hyperbole. The (R) candidate has built his career, business and political, around hype, hyperbole and outright lies. Those of lesser intellect are easily fooled, and also might be impressed by a guy who has 'a concept of a plan' (e.g., healthcare), with that concept nine years in the making and still only---at best---a concept. In a democracy, it's possible that is enough to squeak out an Electoral College victory, and the (R) candidate and his team know that, which is why his 'policy speeches' (other than the red meat stuff like deporting millions and holding military tribunals for critics of the thin-skinned petulant child) are either still concepts of a plan, or extremely poorly thought out (200% tariffs that "China will pay"). He backs up his concepts with his usual nonsense lines about "in two weeks, we will be releasing", and "many people are saying they've never seen anything this good". He has used both lines when discussing his replacement for the Affordable Care Act beginning way back in 2016. Eight years later those "two weeks" have yet to pass, but that's good enough for the non-college educated white male demographic. And let's not forget how wildly impressed medical authorities were when he "aced" his cognitive test by repeating "Man Woman Person Camera TV". I guess that constitutes a parlor trick of astonishing skill, Penn & Teller-esque, to that non-college educated white male demographic.
  10. So true. The far right shows what part of the IQ Bell Curve they occupy every day, ignorant of both reality and in particular what the founding ideals of the United States are. As you noted in a now-evaporated thread, they love to toss out terms like "Marxist" and Commie, as if they even know what they mean. They also seem to have absorbed or activated the same "Whining Gene" so apparent in their cult leader. To some extent this is a worldwide phenomenon that is a function of the obviation of unskilled labor. A good percentage of the populace is being left behind by technological change and the modern economy. They panic, and thus become susceptible to the siren song of false promises offered by opportunistic and self-serving autocrat wannabes like the felon. Clueless as they are, they cannot grasp the fact that their own champions look down on them and consider them losers. Do any of the cult members think their messiah respects them? If they are not rich and successful, and at minimum able to pony up the $200K to join his garish club, he only wants their vote (and maybe wants to sell them Chinese-made Bibles, Golden Sneakers, "Commemorative Coins" coming with a "Certificate of Authenticity", threads from a suit he claims he wore in his Georgia mugshot and arrest booking, etc.) PT Barnum, even more than Roy Cohn, was the inspiration for the felon's schtick: "There's a sucker born every minute". I just look at the IQ Bell Curve every once and a while and remind myself of all that real estate left of the mean, or as George Carlin used to joke, "Think of how dumb the average person is; now realize half the people are even dumber than that". Were Carlin still alive, he would just say "magastan".
  11. It's understandable that some people might think the felon is just a whiny little b-word, as well as an extremely poor judge of character, since so many of what he once claimed were 'only the best people' have morphed into low lifes and/or deranged. Gen Kelly now joins that list, a list that includes other former 'best people' like Rex Tillerson, Gen Mattis, Mark Esper, Bill Barr, John Bolton, Mike Pence, H. R. McMaster, former Homeland Security Chief Bossert, Econ Chief Gary Cohn, Lawyer Ty Cobb, Navy Sec Spencer, IT Tsar Chris Krebs, Former DNI Dan Coates, Former Joint Chief Gen Milley, assorted Press Secretaries and Communications Directors....and The Mooch. Why couldn't they all be quality people like other former business partners or campaign staff like convicted sex trafficker Arif Tevfik (partner in the Soho Tower) or convicted kiddie porn aficianado George Nader? Of course the felon still has a soft spot in his heart for 'some very fine' racists and anti-Semites' who chanted "Jews will not replace us" at Charlottesville, along with gentle souls like Putin and Kim. Personally, I've been convinced by the truck drivers, bitter old male nurses, and all the other shining lights on this Forum who think they know more than 4 star generals, white shoe lawyers, seasoned diplomats, corporate titans, and proven experts in a host of other fields that EVERYBODY who is critical of the Second Coming in the Flesh is not only a low life, but should face a military tribunal, like Liz Cheney, if the felon wins.
  12. Too bad we didn't catch up at either the Harvard or Stanford Alumni Weekend, eh? There's regional Mensa gatherings, so maybe there? We can do an Extra Krispy KFC bucket in honor of the felon (if he's not working the fry station at Macs after his upcoming November defeat, or already working laundry detail at Leavenworth). Incidentally, the felon owns the older, non-college educated white male demographic, which is to say the kind of person the modern economy has obviated. For those with skills and talents, things have never been better. In fact, things have been so good, the successful---mostly Blue States---have been able to carry the loser Red States, funding States like TN, KY and WV's largest "employer": Social Security Disability Insurance, even when it's fraudulently claimed. Those of us not beholden on other successful people to fund a mouth-breather lifestyle, have enjoyed what Biden-Harris have done: ---Highest economic growth since the late 1990s under Bill Clinton ---3 times the growth rate of the average G7 economy since 2020 ---Highest rate of job growth ever ---First new domestic chip plants being built in decades ---Actual infrastructure improvements ---800,000 new manufacturing jobs ---Record stock market ---UE lowered from the 6.8% level the felon left behind ---End of the Recession the felon left behind Now if somehow the felon wins and kicks out the kind of undocumented workers he employed at Mar-a-Lago and Bedminster, maybe there's a room cleaning or strawberry-picking job for you. It's even possible you could print and bind his Bible, lace his golden sneakers, or build those watches----but only if he moves production to the US from its current Chinese sourcing.
  13. As Kipling might have said, It's the bright man's burden.
  14. Don't bother. Facts are anathema to felonistas. If the felon pulled it straight from where the sun doesn't shine, it's fragrant to them. Remember the core tenets of the cult: "Alternative facts"----Kellyanne Conway "Truth isn't truth"---Rudy Giuliani
  15. Nonsense. He had an (R) Senate and (R) House his first 2 years. No wall. Mexico did not pony up a single peso. It's all bluster, hyperbole and lies.....but it works like a chime with the low IQ demographic.
  16. Russia was real. There was active cooperation between his campaign and Russia. Just check "Konstantin Kilimnik" If you don't trust "Dems", then you can access the 1000 page SSCI Report issued by the then-Republican majority Senate, detailing, inter alia, cooperation between GRU asset Kilimnik and Campaign Manager Paul Manafort. That AG Barr both limited what Mueller could look into (e.g., Mueller was prohibited from talking to Deutsche Bank about the SIVs that funded the felon via money from Russian Oligarchs) and also front ran and established a false narrative of the Mueller Report.
  17. Perhaps you are unaware of the oath Generals and others take: It is an oath to the US Constitution, not an individual. Their loyalty is due 100% to the rules and laws outlined in the nation's founding document. Loyalty to him is not relevant nor a requirement. The felon demands loyalty to him, which is inherently wrong and as anti-American as can be.
  18. His first wife Ivana did write that her then-hubby kept a book of Hitler's speeches on the nightstand next to the bed, so that seems to fit with what Davis claims to have given him. Now before anyone comes out and says 'Why is Ivana just mentioning this two weeks before the election?', Ivana has been dead for a while. She isn't as clever, perhaps, as Hugo Chavez, who rose from the grave to write code, upload to an Italian satellite, and alter votes on Dominion voting machines, as claimed by the felon's lawyer Sidney Powell.
  19. Are you really as ignorant as you look with that silly comment? Got a buzzword like "Marxist", eh? Clearly you have no clue what its meaning is, but your Dunning-Kreuger Effect prompts you to pretend. Perhaps you haven't noticed, but the US economy, since 2020, is growing 3 times faster than the average G7 economy, job growth under Biden-Harris has shattered every existing record, the stock market is at an all time high, and even the average income in the US' poorest State---Mississippi---is higher than the average income in the UK, Canada and Germany. Capitalism is alive and well under Biden-Harris. Nothing "Marxist" about it. Perhaps if you had a decent education and marketable job skills or talents, you would have benefited from the economy under Biden-Harris. Sadly, the modern economy is leaving behind Birth Lottery losers, and nobody---especially not the current (R) candidate, can do anything about that. Darwin increasingly rules. Luckily, there are Blue States like CA, NY, NJ, and New England, most of whom are net contributors to the Federal Govt, so that the losers in Red States can be taken care of. Biden-Harris inherited a Recession and 6.8% UE from the last guy, and turned it all around. It's the opposite of the incompetent last guy, who inherited a growing economy and 4.8% UE from Obama. Dems know Capitalism. The stock market performs better under Dems than Repubs. Also, not a single Repub President ever, including before that Party became a cult, has ever NOT presided over the start of a Recession. Not a single one, going all the way back to Lincoln.
  20. Though you are probably a Nazi sympathizer, since your love muffin is so enamored of Hitler, Gen Kelly made these initial remarks years ago, along with his comment about the felon calling deceased and disabled soldiers "suckers and losers", asking Gen Kelly (who lost a son in service) "I don't get it; what's in it for them?", and asking Gen Kelly (when on a launch in Pearl Harbor on the way to the sunken USS Arizona, "So what's this boat all about?". If you want to put blame somewhere, you can criticize The Atlantic magazine, who chose to publish this tweo weeks before the election. Now go back to Heil the felon.
  21. It seems his cult has missed the good times under Biden-Harris....the best economic growth since the late 1990s under Clinton, the US economy growing at 3 times the rate of the average G7 nation since 2020, the massive increase in employed Americans, the end of the felon's Recession, erasing the miserable 6.8% UE the felon left behind, the rebuilding infrastructure, the new chip plants under construction whose workers will earn way-above average income, the record stock market, the falling crime rates, the rebuilding of NATO and respect for the US.... I understand that the modern economy is difficult to navigate for those lacking talent and skills, so I understand why his poorly educated and unsuccessful cult have been left behind and been obviated, while those with marketable skills have never seen better times than now. Still, his 'concept of a plan' isn't going to do anything for those the world has already left behind. The hopes he gives the Loser Class are false hopes.
  22. That's what the dinosaurs said when the asteroid was heading for the Yucatan Peninsula....what if it's not so bad? Sane and rational people do not want to take that chance. The cult, on the other hand, losers that they have been since birth, hope to live vicariously off of the felon's vindictiveness and promises of retribution. The felon has stated publicly what he intends to do to political opponents and critics. All of his speeches and interviews are available with a simple Google search. You can start with 'military tribunals' AND Liz Cheney. Don't believe his own words? It seems you are calling the felon a liar, doubting or questioning what he has actually said. Maybe that makes you one of those 'enemy within' types he spoke about last week. Best you be careful, or he'll send some of his goobers to look for little guys riding around on red Vespas in Pattaya. As for his first term, he tried to do many of the things he now promises to do, but in his first term he had a few decent people who stopped him. Two of his AGs told him he could not arrest and jail political opponents simply because they existed (Sessions re Hillary Clinton, and Barr re Biden), nor could he attack Iran before the election in order to help him (Esper) or nuke China after he lost in order to declare a 'national emergency' and stay in office (Milley, which got Milley the 'execution' threat). He is not going to have even a Barr next time, if there is one, much less a Mattis, Esper, Milley, Cohn, Pence. His entire team would be Bannons, Sidney Powells, Kash Patels and others from the lunatic fringe.
  23. All one need do is listen to what the guy actually says, not how his loser sycophants try to explain 'what he really meant'. The guy has voiced two kinds of absurdities and outrages. One is his anti-American rants about retribution, 'military tribunals' for critics such as Liz Cheney, 'dictator on Day One'. Only cultists and the ignorant think his intent is anything other than what he says. Plus, so many reports have come out from members of his former Administration about what he tried to do in his first term (jail Hillary, arrest and jail Biden weeks before the 2020 election, the various fake elector schemes, etc.), that there is little doubt he fully intends to do all the things he has publicly stated...again, such as 'military tribunals'. The other kind of absurdities relate to his 'concept of a plan' policies, such as tariffs, which the moron clearly does not understand. Just as he blew it first time with his China sanctions, which raised prices for American consumers and hurt US farmers (requiring a massive Socialist move to hand out tens of $billions to farmers). The guy only fools his cult with his 'nobody knows more about (debt, tariffs, nukes, terrorism, trade, etc.) than me'. In reality, he is willfully and woefully ignorant. If he somehow wins, I suspect the US economy and the USD will crash. His endless boasting first time about 'best economy ever' is not even close to reality, as actual numbers show he presided over the lowest economic performance (in terms of GDP change) of any Administration since the end of WWII----and that was BEFORE he mishandled Covid. Including Covid, the guy is Herbert Hoover, Jr. If he follows through on what he says he will do in regards to anti-American actions, then the US that much better people than him and his cult fought to build and defend over the last 250 years is finished. He and his cult would be traitors to the oath many of us took, and thus become domestic enemies. The 'good' solution if he carries through on his statements of retribution and vindictiveness, plus his economic madness, would be secession by successful States like CA, OR, WA, MA, NY, NJ and the rest of New England, letting magastan simmer in it's own rancid juices. The 'bad' solution is civil war, though actual patriots are ready to step up and do the needful, remembering our oath to the US Constitution, not to a cult leader. It CAN happen here. I often think back to the former Yugoslavia and remember that nation help the Winter Olympics in 1984 at Sarajevo. By the mid 1990s it was a brutal civil war. The felon represents that level of threat to all we have known since 1776, because his cult is some combination of self-serving (Elon Musk, Bill Ackman, Repub House) or simply ignorant (look at his rallies and his supporters).
  24. Interesting to see the delusional maga types come out, tossing out epithets about "Marxist/Stalinist/Commie/etc.", with no understanding of those ideologies nor the reality of successful Dem-led Capitalism. In case you missed it---which you quite obviously have---GDP growth under Biden-Harris is tops since the late 1990s under Clinton. US GDP growth since 2020, when Biden took over after the felon left a Recession and 6.8% UE, is three times the average of the other G7 nations. The US' poorest State---Mississippi---has average income higher than the average income of folks in the UK, Canada and Germany. More Americans are employed today that at any time in the history of the country. The first chip plants in decades are being built in the US. Infrastructure rebuilding isn't a week that never comes, but a reality. 800,000 new manufacturing jobs have arisen under Biden's term. Even the trade deficit with China has improved. The last guy was a disaster: lowest average GDP change of any Presidential Administration since Herbert Hoover...the first President since Hoover to leave office with fewer Americans employed than when he took over. What he added to the National Debt ($8,400,000,000,000) exceeds GDP change over his term ,meaning even his mediocre performance was debt-fueled. Oh, and the felon went all Socialist by handing out $tens of billions to US Farmers after he ruined their market by putting tariffs on Chinese goods, as the Chinese retaliated by shifting ag sourcing to Brazil and other SA nations. The stock market---at an all time high under Biden-Harris---has always done better under Dem Administrations than Repub. Also, not a single Republican Administration since the (R) founding has avoided starting a Recession. Not a single (R) POTUS since even when they were real Republicans, and not a fanatic cult like now. Bush left Obama the worst crisis since the Great Depression, and the felon took Obama's growth and 4.8% UE and left Biden-Harris a Recession and 6.8% UE. I understand the last few years have been difficult for Maga types, as few have the kind of marketable skills required in the modern economy, but for those with skills and talents, the last 4 years have been better than ever. Note the Red States than lean toward the pie-in-the-sky lies of the felon: most all are net takers from the Federal Govt, vs net givers in Blue States like CA, NY, NJ, MA. The largest 'employer' in Red States like KY, WV and TN is Social Security Disability Insurance. If not for the Dem Blue States, Magastan would make the economy of Venezuela look like an economic juggernaut. I suspect that if somehow the felon wins, the economy and USD will tumble, and Blue States that carry their own weight might even secede. I could see something similar to West Pakistan and East Pakistan after Partition in India post-WWII, with CA/OR/WA in the west and NJ/NY/New England in the east seceding and forming independent nations. Poor Illinois, stuck in the middle of abject failure that is magastan!
  25. If your uncle showed up at a family gathering and spent 12 minutes talking about Arnold Palmer's junk, you would 1) get the kids out of the room, 2) check to see if he has taken his meds, 3) maybe just end the family gathering and go home. His goobers, however, love that sort of thing in their candidate for the President of the United States of America, the man with the nuclear codes that can launch upwards of 7800 warheads via missiles, bombers and submarines, the person who represents the US' face to the rest of the world. One poster in another thread praised the felon and his Palmer 3-wood talk as funny and 'blue'. Oddly, on actually significant issues like healthcare, the felon---after 9 years claiming 'within two weeks'--has merely a 'concept of a plan', but instead of moving from concept to actual plan, he prefers to devote his thoughts to Palmer's junk---and that gets his cult's votes. Go figure. I guess many also like the idea of 'military tribunals' for critics, as the felon claimed he would do against former Republican Rep Liz Cheney, because she dared to do her job and follow the oath she took to the US Constitution. Civics and US fundamental ideals are not something which the typical low-IQ, poorly educated felon supporter knows much about. Like their bloated messiah, most are never-served cowards who hope to live vicariously via their cult leader getting back against all the bright and successful people in life who have made his cult members feel as inadequate as the felon himself feels about his own micro junk. Somewhat ironic is that the felon's campaign---in documents provided by Stormy Daniels' current lawyer to MSNBC talking head (and Rhodes Scholar) Rachel Maddow---has tried to pay Daniels to refrain from any further comments about her former short term sex partner and his microjunk, but the candidate himself can spend 12 minutes of one of his last campaign. speeches discussing Arnold Palmer's junk. Go back to a simpler, gentler, saner time---such as 2014---when the Presidential nominee of a major political Party did not talk of holding military tribunals for critics, or say the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs should be executed for disloyalty---not to the US Constitution, but to the President, or call critics and political opponents 'the enemy within', or discuss the size of the appendages of sports stars. That used to be America, but it's been sullied and debased by one man and his cult of low-life losers. No doubt our now peripatetic truck driver and, well, not the brightest bulb, will justify and rationalize all of the felon's rants, bizarre twists and 'weaving', unable to see that his love muffin is batshoot crazy and a threat to everything decent people (aka 'suckers and losers') spent the last 250 years fighting to defend. It's been stated before, but never better than what H. L. Mencken said way back in 1920: "On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron." What Mencken left out was that the moron would also be a vindictive dictator wannabe, who is quite likely a psychopath (traits of a psychopath: a charm that fools the vulnerable, lies as easily as one breathes, thinks rules apply to others, but not self, feels no guilt, has no empathy).
