  1. I'm sure you're a really brave and highly trained guy with lots of combat experience, but a teacher with a 9mm handgun, which he might have shot once at the range (if that), is unlikely to be steady when confronting someone with an AR-15 and a 30 rd mag filled with 5.56 NATO ammo leaving the barrel at 3200 fpm. Teacher's MOA might be triple digits, and he or she is as likely to hit another child as the perp. As for guns in Thailand, your chance of winning the 6 number lottery is much greater than you ever being anywhere near a crazed shooter. It doesn't happen 'all the time'. Yes, there was an incident in Siam Paragon a while back, but I doubt YOU with a handgun in a shopping mall with 25,000 shoppers all around would make the place any safer. Real 'tough guys' just charge the shooter and disarm him, so get yourself a pair of Nikes and be ready to sprint.
  2. You get the anti-prolixity award for using so few words to get so much wrong. Perhaps you haven't heard of search engines? You can use one of these new-fangled things to find the Heritage Foundation and look up Project 2025...even who wrote it. See what former President 140 of the authors worked for (hint: he has 34 felony convictions and is on the cusp of getting even more). As for "Deep State", anyone who uses that term, without tongue in cheek, is someone who has never come remotely close to either the halls of power or reality. It's right up there with QAnon and shape-shifting lizard people from the rogue planet Nibiru. (As a card-carrying member of the Deep State, it's major advantage is we get to shop at Titanic Duty Free and commute to work on the bathyscaphe Trieste. We're so low we have to look up to see down.)
  3. Just as women like the one noted here have opinions, so do the men who respond. There's a good deal of truth on both sides, as well as hypocritical blindness. In such threads, posters are quick to claim all Western women fall into the same category (just as YouTube 'stars' say all Western men who choose Thailand are of the same ilk, that being a 'loser'). Well, not all Western women are chubby, money-grubbing nags. Maybe that's all the guys who choose Thailand could land back home, but it hardly represents all Western women. Many are in shape, have lovely personalities, and make enough money so that in a divorce they don't ask for anything. In my old industry, women earned at the same rate as men, which is to say 7+ figures, and in dollars. They also hit the gym. They were enjoyable dates, even life partners. For the ones here bemoaning the physical state of Western women, please strip down to your tighty-whities (but close the drapes first!). Go stand in front of the mirror? Could you be confused with a guy on the starting line of the Olympic 100-meter Final? Maybe an NBA point guard or NFL wide out? I think not. Walking around Bangkok, the typical Western expat I see---if he's actually walking, not waddling, and if mobile, and not perched on a barstool---has spare tires that Airbus could use on an A380, or looks as if his twins are due next month. He's also likely full of recent 'warrior-style' tatts, which is the manifestation of Midlife Crisis in guys who can't afford a Porsche or Ferrari. Nor does he have an 8-figure (dollars) next egg. A 'catch' he is not, but for some local women, he's good enough. Lucky for him some women are forced to be less discerning. Bottom line there is some truth in what the woman in the vid says, even if she says it badly and has her own issues. Also, there is likely some truth in the comments about some Western women, but hardly all of them. There are Margot Robbies and Zendayas in the West. No doubt there are some stud muffins who choose Thailand and Thai women, too, though both sides of this issue can find some justification for falling back on stereotypes.
  4. Do you have a degree in hyperbole from the felon's university? Have you ever actually studied Marxism and Stalinism, or are they just the only derogatory epithets you know? Zero about what Biden has done even remotely approaches either of those ideologies. Under Biden the US experienced its highest growth since the late 1990s under Bill Clinton. Apparently recovery from the Recession left behind by the felon and the high 6.8% UE he left behind make you uncomfortable, as do manufacturing jobs, new chips plants and an actual Infrastructure Bill that is, as we speak, repairing the US' bridges, roads, airports, electric grid, etc. I'm sure the other guy has 'a concept of a plan' (9 years and counting on his Obamacare replacement) on just about everything, and "shortly, maybe in two weeks" he will be releasing it. This graph was produced by the Bureau of Economic Analysis, a USG entity, that suggests maybe your messiah engaged in a bit of hyperbole when he used to lie about 'best economy ever'. The BEA graph suggests he presided over the worst economic performance since Herbert Hoover. But hey, as George Costanza says, "It's not a lie if YOU believe it".
  5. Do MAGAs have a 'whining gene'? Or did they catch whining from their messiah? Maybe Pfizer can develop some biohack to turn off that Whining Gene. Praytell who is allowed, and who is not allowed, to endorse a candidate? Is there some Amendment to the US Constitution that says what the qualifications must be for an endorser?
  6. Not much info in the NY Post article about the method behind the poll. Who were these 'voters'? MAGAs can spin things until their messiah tells a non-lie or Hell freezes over (more likely to happen first), but the key thing about Swift's endorsement is that she encouraged those who follow her to register, and register they did. That means previous no-voters are now much more likely to vote, and since they follow Swift, they are likely to follow her endorsement. 2016 had a difference of 78,000 votes across the key swing States of WI, MI and PA. In 2020, a change of 40,000 votes in key swing States could have given the Electoral College to someone other than Biden. Given the Electoral College still exists (despite both HRC and Biden taking the popular vote by millions), those hundreds of thousands of new registrations could put the EC squarely in Harris' hands, So, despite the poll, advantage Harris (re the Swift endorsement), and the Repubs know that.
  7. Didn't seem to hurt Wilt Chamberlain nor Mick Jagger. Taylor Swift landed herself Travis Kelce, a great and wealthy NFL player bound for the Hall of Fame, so whatever Ms Swift's past, it hasn't hurt her romantic life. And then there's that love muffin running for President on the (R) ticket. The guy's been down the aisle 3 times, dallied with a Playboy playmate and a porn star, and now has drawn the gaze of one Laura Loomer (not that any other heterosexual man would have the slightest interest in doing anything buy donning the Nikes and running full speed away from that moonbat Loomer). I'm really not sure what your attempt to disparage the actual billionaire and world's current #1 artist, in terms of popularity, is geared toward. Ms Swift is not looking for another partner, seemingly quite content with Travis Kelce. As for voters, she has prompted massive new registration, and few who were motivated by her post are likely to vote for the thrice-married, serial philandering, guy whose current major policy issue involves Haitians and household pets.
  8. The poster you quoted said the guy voted for the golfer in 2016. That is a fact. The guy also posted on some social media that his 'dream ticket' was Haley-Vivek. Given that, should we blame Haley? Maybe we should blame all people of Indian ancestry? The OP seems to want to toss some guilt on Harris because of a bumper sticker. Maybe the guy is just batsh!t crazy? As for the OP, his aggressiveness in trying to make his messiah look like more than the sewer turd he is brings to mind a haiku from Basho: "Go ahead cricket Chirp away I know it's Autumn"
  9. Is it "presidential" to post one's hatred of a celebrity with 20x the social media following? When the same person went so far as to post a fake endorsement by the same celebrity, as it is abundantly clear he thought it would help his campaign, is he not acting as the petulant child he is? When Magastan goes so far out of its way to try to convince people Swift's endorsement is not important---with the weird guy Vance even stating, without noting the irony, that nobody is influenced by a billionaire celebrity---you know the endorsement carries massive weight. And the Consolation Prize---an endorsement from whackadoodle Laura Loomer---goes to the other candidate. (In the pre-nup that may well be about to be inked, I would advise Loomer not to accept Truth Social parent company stock as payment for conjugal services rendered.)
  10. First, it would seem the irony of Vance statement escaped you. What person is always claiming to be a billionaire celebrity, in fact so much a 'star' that he claims women let him grab them by [what he claims Haitian immigrants are eating]? That 'billionaire celebrity' seems to have influence among society's losers and forlorn, racists and misogynists, the poorly educated, aging white male curmudgeons, and people who hate democracy and the principles upon which the US was founded/set in motion toward. Second, @placeholder noted the instant influence Taylor Swift's endorsement had, which was a massive increase in voter registration. Third, do you have current figures on all the 'illegals' running amok in our neighborhoods? It seems border crossings are actually down, though they would be down much farther if a certain someone hadn't told the SotH to quash the border Bill written by (R) Senator Lankford.
  11. If moderators have the same authority as referees in a boxing match, then I agree David Muir owes the public an apology for allowing that disaster to continue long after the male on that stage showed clear evidence of brain damage. Looking at Muir's face when he was correcting the abject absurdity of 'they're eating the pets', it was clear Muir was deeply embarrassed for the person who had made that silly claim. Pity was the look. Pity that America had to see a man so unhinged and broken.
  12. In his stand up slouched over comedy routine on Tuesday, the debate loser added to his verbal gems such as 'they're eating the dogs; they're eating the cats' and 'transgender operations for illegal aliens in prison', and 'post-birth abortions' by claiming "polls" say he won the debate "90 to 10...86 to 3.....60, 70, 80%", but couldn't say where he had gotten those [bald face lie] numbers minutes after the disaster finished. Other than a poll taken inside the family home (where the 'nays' would probably be Melania and Tiffany), no other poll could possibly exist that produced such numbers in his favor. Even his fav network, Fox, said he got hammered (though the loser had to subsequently used his usual disparaging style to go after Neil Cavuto, calling him 'untalented' and on a show 'nobody watches'). His clumsy VP pick, clearly a comedian in his own right, answered a question about the Taylor Swift endorsement by actually saying, "I don't think anyone is going to be influenced by a billionaire celebrity". Oh, the irony of Vance' statement!
  13. I fully encourage this 'beautiful' relationship. The Comment-Heard-Round-the-World about 'they're eating the dogs!' stemmed from that loving relationship and her growing influence. The felon even praises her by name at his rallies. She's his Rasputin and his muse. Also, how sweet to take a 911-Truther to the remembrance in NYC last week! Who said the MAGA tent is not big enough to include even Loomertics! Poll numbers suggest just how beneficial the relationship is....for Harris. More would be better. Truly, his performance in the debate was to be expected, given that his crack preparation team included such intellectual stalwarts as Loomer, Matt Gaetz, Jason Miller (who I believe played one of the characters in the bowling alley scene in Men in Black III) and the man who made spray-on hair popular, Steven Miller.
  14. Doubtful wisdom can come from those who support a racist, coup-plotting, anti-democracy psychopath whose major life concerns are cat-eating Haitian migrants (who do not exist) and sharks circling a sinking electric boat. As for the current Administration about whom the Whiner Cult incessantly complains, it was Biden-Harris who presided over: ---lowering UE from the disastrous 6.8% the felon left in his wake to 41 months below 4%, and currently still far below the felon ---the end of the Felon Recession and building the strongest economy among all major nations ---An actual Infrastructure Bill, rather than the endless "Next week is Infrastructure Week" ---Actual improvements in healthcare and prescription drug prices, rather than the 'concept of a plan' 9 years in the making so far ---800,000 new manufacturing jobs ---the first new chip plants being constructed in the US in decades ---highest fossil fuel production ever in the US, now the largest producer of fossil fuels in the world ---9000+ approved drilling leases not being used, but ready if any energy company is so inclined ---rebuilt NATO and rebuilt respect for the US in the world, vs the abject embarrassment that was the last guy But hey, your concern for the cats of Springfield and the possibility of childless AND cat-less ladies is heartwarming.
  15. Just as racism and misogyny are now hallmarks and planks of the Party formerly known as “Republican”, so, too, is it at the core of supporters of the debate loser here. Apparently it is allowed. Not so veiled racist and misogynist comments pepper this thread. Of course most come from a short little guy, someone who seems to have suffered laughter from women he paid for carnal activity, when they saw he was---like his terribly flawed hero---perhaps “not quite freakishly small, but well below average” (Stormy’s famous quip after her silly tryst and spank job with Tighty Whitey Mushroom Boy). Incels. QAnons, racists, misogynists, bitter old loser white guys, traitors to US principles, the poorly educated, the unsuccessful…that’s the core support of the debate loser and convicted felon, a fool now responsible for bomb threats against an entire city and people of color who have made that city their home. The cesspool is deep, and it’s full of MAGA losers, gurgling in the filth.
  16. Apparently calling out obvious and outlandish lies is 'biased' among the cult of the felon. I'll just go out on a limb and guess that if Harris had said alien spacecraft landed on the field in last year's Superbowl and replaced Patrick Mahomes with an alien Mahomes, the ABC mods would have called her out on that. Similarly, they were obligated to call out the debate loser for his absurdities about pet eating and killing babies after birth. It's called sanity, not bias. Also, when 911Truther and batsh!t crazy conspiratorialist Laura Loomer is part of your debate prep, chances are you are going to look like a frothing-at-the-mouth escapee from an 18th Century asylum, as the debate loser did.
  17. It's either a secret cabal of brilliant and manipulative shape-shifting ten foot lizard people from the rogue planet Nibiru, who control your thoughts and every aspect of your life, or it's an organization in the Executive Branch comprised of folks who are either quite patriotic, or who are action junkies who just think life is a grand game and want to have some fun. Sometimes, at least in the tiny core of folks who are actual spooks, it's both. And no, the agency does not care you exist, unless you're a terrorist, or dealing in fissionable nuclear material, or something dangerous like that. The agency after the Church Commission in the late 1970s is quite different from what it was from its founding after WWII until the Commission. It falls under the President, and does nothing outside of its mandate (of recruiting clandestine sources and gathering intelligence) unless POTUS signs a Presidential Finding. ALL covert action programs result from a signed Presidential Finding. Also, most agency folks know few covert action programs are effective, as there are just too many variables at play to orchestrate the Presidentially-desired outcome. Presidents often do not understand what it can do, both legally and from an ability perspective. What it has the ability to do is actually rather astonishing, and it might surprise people to know that the agency invented all sorts of things now commonly in use in wider society, but for which others claim credit. Sometimes Presidents ask for a number of options to address an issue important to the President. Some options are introduced as fringe alternatives, but tickle the fancy of the sitting President and are what he chooses. He then signs a Finding and the action is initiated. Pulp fiction and Hollywood B-fare is filled with 'rogue' operations, but that truly is fiction. The sitting President drives everything. Sometimes the agency accepts the blame for the POTUS, when all fault actually is that of the POTUS. The agency cultivates two widely divergent images: that it is omnipotent, and that it is wildly incompetent. Both have value. The truth is somewhere in between. There are things for which the agency gets blamed for political reasons, when its own intelligence and analysis was opposite of what is portrayed, such as WMDs in Iraq. While proving a negative is not possible, the agency analysis pre-Iraq War was <15% chance Saddam had WMD. The Republican neocons refused to accept that; hence the disastrous invasion. The same is true of the Afghanistan War. Back in 2001 the agency argued Afghanistan was a money pit where no victory was possible, and that the US should take out the al Qaeda bases, then leave. That advice was ignored, and a two decade waste of humans and money was the result.
  18. "It was my best debate yet" "All the polls say I won" Pathological liar or batsh!t crazy and delusional? Either way, it's not good and not someone who should have the nuclear codes. Jimmy Kimmel (a late night talk show host), put together a video of two things: all the people and things the debate loser claimed he didn't know anything about (such as former Imperial Wizard of the KKK David Duke, who endorsed the felon, Project 2025, Wikileaks, white supremacists, the Proud Boys, etc.) or things about which the felon claims "Nobody knows more about than me" (e.g., technology, fertilization, banking, ISIS, nukes, wind, ethanol, trade, drones, environmental impact, McDonald's menu). The last one might be true. Now his airplane mate is one Laura Loomer, a bizarre conspiratorialist who is, inter alia, a "Truther" and a racist and bigot who posted about a Harris White House smelling like curry and where the switchboard gets forwarded to a call center in Bangalore. Loomer is one of the main pushers of the Haitian Dog and Cat cookbook, or whatever that nonsense is. When fellow lunatic Marjorie Taylor Greene says Loomer is a bad influence, you know the campaign has gone down a deep rabbit hole (no doubt where sits a Haitain immigrant kitchen)
  19. How terribly ironic that Mr Fake News himself, when confronted by the moderator with the absurdity of his conspiracy theory, said, "I saw it on TV". The moderator David Muir was clearly embarrassed for the guy, that such nonsense would be brought up in a Presidential debate. Another poster put an image of a guy who happens to be Black and holding a goose. The man who took the picture said he did not know where the man caught the goose, and has no idea if the Black man is an immigrant or not. In fact, the photographer was befuddled that his image---not even in Ohio---would be used in a silly conspiracy.
  20. In keeping with his Whiner-in-Chief personna, the debate loser came into the Spin Room claiming the debate was rigged, ABC should lose its license to broadcast, and that he actually killed it in the debate. Killed himself is more like it.
  21. VP Harris entered office with Biden at a time when US unemployment was 6.8% and the nation was in a Recession and suffering from a pandemic. The pandemic is over, UE has spent most of the 3.5 years under 4%, the economy is growing faster than almost every major world economy, an Infrastructure Bill was passed, prescription drug prices are down, job creation has set records, NATO has been bolstered, the first new chip plants in decades are being built, and deportations actually exceed those done under the guy who lost in 2020. Of course, those who hate democracy and prefer dictators and govt being both in your bedroom and in your wife/girlfriend/mother/daughter's womb, prefer the weird old guy claiming it's Night of the Living Dead Dogs in Ohio.
  22. The neutered male candidate on that stage added 41% to the National Debt built up over the first two centuries plus, which was $8,400,000,000,000, or around $25000 for every man, woman and child in the US. That caused the subsequent inflation Biden-Harris and the Fed had to handle. As for laughing at the US...yes, that cat-eating comment in a Presidential debate did get folks chortling, almost as much as when he tried to boast about the size of his not-quite-freakishly small mushroom (per Stormy) back in the first (R) debate in 2016. Sooooo "Presidential".
  23. I'm not voting for her because of her looks, but since I'm definitely not into Grandpa Porn like some posters here, I see a clear difference in physical esthetics.
  24. Yes, please no more job growth! No more best economy among the major nations! No more manufacturing jobs in the US! No more chip plants! No more of that 41 straight months of <4% UE, the first time that happened in 60 years! Those libs in the Biden-Harris Administration undid all the 'good work' the last guy did. I mean, it takes a special kind of 'businessman', perhaps one with 6 bankruptcies who squandered his massive inheritance and allowance, to inherit 4.8% UE and a growing economy from Obama, and turn it into 6.8% UE and a Recession. The worst economic performance of any post-WWII POTUS in terms of average GDP per quarter, and the first President since Herbert Hoover to leave office with fewer Americans working than when he entered. I do believe VP Harris is not capable of that level of failure.
  25. The Alpha woman absolutely neutered the Beta Male in that debate. Imagine what a psychopathic Alpha Male like Putin could do to him. As VP Harris so accurately noted, "He'd eat your lunch".
