Are you thinking of the 1998 W124 300D that MB bought back from the taxi driver owner in Porto, to put in their museum in Germany. That model was one of the best MB’s. There was a decline in quality after that. MB have recently improved their product considerably. Relatively expensive here compared to other markets but Thai cars are loaded with extras, as standard, that have to be paid for in other countries

She may well have done. Women want, among other things, security. This does not apply just to women from Thailand. If they think, after a period, that the guy is not serious they may leave. I have read through this thread, carefully I think, and I don’t see mentioned anywhere. why you didn’t get any warning, would have expected a low oil pressure light at least to initiate. That is a puzzle can you give a reason. TBH seems some fact/facts are missing here.

A good suggestion is, don’t store any cardboard or polystyrene packing in the house, shed or around the garden. Termites love it!
