Law and order is slowly breaking down in the cities, it was always going to happen with the lockdown and unemployment rising.

No, its all happening because the Ant  Teethers have been going on violent rampages  and destroying our cities ..................and they need to be stopped .

And law abiding citizens will try to stop the Ant Teethers from smashing up our cities and towns

"He had been earlier seen trying to provoke the Police  and to cause unrest ."

I bet there are hours of video about that, right?!

    Otherwise: how would you know?

By someone in your echo chamber telling you about it?

So please show me somethning...ANYTHING to support this claim!

Yes, he is a well known ant theether activist and anti police , there is a video  of him hanging about the area in the daytime troublemaking.

There is a video doing the rounds of him in action , but I dont have a link to it

I agree. I had to look up who this Savile guy is, seems like he was a perv. Anyway, was his statue removed by some form of legitimate and reasoned process?  If so that's a far cry from a howling mob acting violent in the public square.

Yes, the Saville statue was removed by the authorities, after it was revealed that he was a serial child abuser , and it was removed a number of years ago and it has nothing to do with the current situation

    For once we agree.

However I am arguing that given it is already down it should not be put back.

I chose the Jimmy Savile statue as an example because it is something we can all relate to. I suspect all of us would be ready to topple that if it ever got put back up.

Those people who dragged down Colstons statue feel the same way about that guy.

    Jimmy Savile broke the law

Coulston didnt break the law .

Those who removed his statue broke the law .

    Colston broke no laws

I think that even though both were philanthropists they were also thoroughly vile people.

They are also part of the UK's history.

So if some are going to argue that Colstons statue should go back up for that reason then surely Saviles should go back up too.

We wouldnt want any double standards now would we?

Fair enough, put both statues back up .

Start you campaign to get Savilles statue put back up

I suppose if we are not allowed to remove statues because "Its part of history" we better dig out Jimmy Savile's old sculpture and stick it back on the plinth.

Where was his sculpture located ?

Considering that there are still people alive that were victims of Saville , I dont think that it would be a good idea to bring his statue back

    Here we go again!

What does the fact, that he was a peace- activist (or whatever else) has to do with the fact, that he was almost killed by the police?

Could be that the guy was deliberately trying to confront the Police with the intention of becoming a victim of police brutality , *taking one for the team* as Brits say .

He had been earlier seen trying to provoke the Police  and to cause unrest .

I continue to live here because I and my wife owned some land 40km north of Chiang Mai and we wanted to take care of her ailing father so we built a house on the land. Now that he has passed, we can not sell the house without taking a severe loss. If we could get a price even close to what we have invested I and my wife would be gone like a shot.

Is there any reason why you cannot sell the house ?

Or is it just because theres no buyers ?

He's a boxer, hardly mastermind material.

Joshua responded to the backlash with a statement on Sunday evening: “If you think I’m a racist, go f*** yourself!

“If you watch the full video, the speech was passed around for someone to read and I took the lead.

“I personally spoke from the heart about the Watford community, ideas of us personally investing seven figures to create unity and opportunities and adding change to the African/Caribbean community.

“Shops aren’t the issue here. Before you talk s***, you better boycott racism.”

Anthony, you told Black people "NOT to spend their money in White owned shops"

That is racist and it looks like people will be talking your advice about boycotting racism , which you will see at your next fight

That video clip going around is edited. The words spoken by Joshua were by someone who could not be at the protest and Joshua said this before he started reading. The video was edited to omit this at the start, it's fake news provided by people who want to stir up trouble. So now Joshua is being vilified and 6 months ago he was lauded as a true Brit heavyweight champion of the world.

Joshua said it , he must agree with what was said, otherwise he wouldnt have said it .
