    There's many 'military refugees' in Phuket as well, my neighbour - "I'm not going to Ukraine" he tells me. Him and his wife try to make some money online and a border bounce to Malaysia soon for another 45 day stamp......uprooted lives not to mention Ukrainian lives......

    Thats what I did, new PP then extension, some countries allow PP renewal application 12 months prior to expiry...... oodles of time to get squared away............

    Return after your re-entry expires visa exempt then to Non O here, or get a 90 day Non O at home embassy, you probably have some existing health insurance from your OA to get you through the online Non O application e-visa.

    I think your only option now if getting a new PP shortly is to transfer the stamps then go to Immigration in June 2023 and do another one year extension on the new PP with a re-entry permit then go to Canada.

    Agree, wait for further investigations, I think its their 'low end' dumb missiles ( or possibly thats all they have ) gone aria. In the meantime yes, Mr Prayut should be concerned with overstaying Ruskies and have a plan in the works to deal with it........

    Unfortunately your consulates were closed. I left on an OA extension to kill it off as well, returned 3 months later with a 90 day Non O from home Embassy using my existing health insurance to cover the Non O application E-visa process. For my 1st extension on the Non O, two months bank statement was all that was needed, my previous OA was not mentioned by the IO. ( Phuket ). Sounds like the Non O 'in house' route can be more of a headache.
