    Unfortunately for me, online DL renewal is not allowed, making it a visit trip as well........

    I'm making a trip to home country just to renew my DL in August, not letting that slide away and create headaches sometime in the future........

    You've lost many of the Scandinavian / European tourists due to the Russia-Ukraine war but have opened the flood gates for lower spending Russians ( 'tourists' is not accurate either ). Probably look like Covid times in Phuket without the 50,000 that arrived in November......

    Fantastic, I thought it was just me noticing that Ruskies don't queue in 7/11 cashier lines.....get your elbow and shoulder back in front of their arm, works well....

    Exactly, the entire country I believe has no idea whats happening between Russia and Ukraine and it doesn't matter as long as they fill the restaurants and hotels......

    There's a few Russian soldiers sunburnt in Phuket as well.............

    I think the Ruskies ( crowds ) will play with extensions and or education visas for prolonged stays or until Putin surrenders......it was lovely here during the Covid panic era..........

    Won't happen, keep patching up the F-15's and 16's for reasons mentioned and Thailand does not have external enemies..........

    Might want to set up a visit in Koh Phuket as well, there might be a few that prefer not to return to Moscow.....

    There's many 'military refugees' in Phuket as well, my neighbour - "I'm not going to Ukraine" he tells me. Him and his wife try to make some money online and a border bounce to Malaysia soon for another 45 day stamp......uprooted lives not to mention Ukrainian lives......

    Thats what I did, new PP then extension, some countries allow PP renewal application 12 months prior to expiry...... oodles of time to get squared away............
