  1. If you don't have a Thai bank account and want to arrive and relax and also have some extra time to get a tm30 organized if need be, do the Non O online at home - 8-9 questions, health insurance for 90 days, proof that you live in the area you are applying, home bank statement 800k baht equivalent , should have your emailed 90 day Non O E-Visa in 24-48 hours.......
  2. Last 8-10 years entering on TV's and exempts, two decades with mostly TV's and exempts, a couple Non O's, the 'wife' question may be stretching it a little, however very normal to ask about a 'visa' with all the past entries.........
  3. She's also very aware of Thai men and their 'straying tendencies', just a mad-on for males in general........
  4. Interesting, I think this online E-Visa application service better straighten out its health insurance thing for Non O and be on the page with Embassy's,
  5. No more mail your passports to Embassy, all done online now ( E-Visa ).
  6. Multiple Exempt entries no matter when and even spaced out a little is a red flag, eventually you will be questioned. Working on a 28/28 rotation years ago and entering exempt for a couple years I was finally asked ( male IO ) "you need a Non O", on those days off I got a multiple entry Non O.
  7. If you are stumped on the TM30 online, depending where you are, Patong Immigration does TM30's, did mine there last month in and out with notification slip in Passport in 15 minutes.......
  8. Leave it and carry on, if you are successful with the uploads they want and submit everything, the system fills that in later.......
  9. Yeah, young folks from Middle Eastern countries.... clean as a whistle behaviour at home, step off the plane here with their Levi's and ball caps on 'ready to let loose'.......... repairs at the hospital won't cost much with his Kuwaiti Dinar.
  10. A 'no-show' feeling the heat of the August 23rd date - ( 8 years ) gone by...........
  11. Swiping passports on arrival, should be all there in front of them with that 'Interpol thing' stop em right at the podium..............
  12. I just noticed the topic title is not correct, apologies - 'First Non O E-visa extension', NOT Non O A-visa...
  13. From the online Phuket Immigration instructions it said 2 month bank statement and copies of your passbook pages including name page. It was my 1st extension, 2 months statement would have been fine, I just went with 3 for a buffer, IO had nothing to say just "sign sign here and mobile number"........
  14. He did not ask to see my passbook, had passbook copies 3 months back and the bank statement 3 months back. No banking questions were asked at all !! No mention regarding the 800k 3 months after and the 400k for the remainder, maybe because it was 1st extension on a Non O ? Picked up PP today, 90 day slip was attached starting from extension application date ( 17th ) and the 1 year retirement extension stamp was Sept 7, 2023. My Non O arrival stamp permission to stay was Sept. 7, 2022.
  15. Arrived 10:00am, got through the documents check and filled out overstay warning papers at a waiting area outside the extensions office, then was given a queue number. Waited about 15 minutes went inside sat down. Two male IO were doing paperwork checks again and the passport stamping - bank letter and I had a 3 month statement. He flipped through everything very quickly, no questions asked, had to sign them and add my mobile number on one, Two women were at computers handed PP to them, photo was next and waited for the 1900 baht receipt and told to bring it tomorrow and pick up passport. Did not need a map drawn ( had one with me ) or a photo of yourself in front of your dwelling. Did a TM30 6 weeks prior. Very relaxed IO's, that was an easy 50 minutes !!
  16. A former President of the USA and possibly a threat to national security is beyond belief.........
  17. Your permission to stay stamp is May 2023, your OA visa sticker expires Dec. 2022. If you leave next week and return in early 2023 ( JAN-FEB ) you will need a re-entry permit to keep your permission to stay stamp alive and be stamped in again on your return to May 2023 because you would be returning after OA visa expiry ( DEC 2022 ). If you were to return to Thailand before OA visa expiry ( Dec 2022 ) you would get another 12 month stamp providing you have health insurance for the year as well or the IO will stamp you in to the expiry date of your health insurance.
