This 10k scheme will be more harm than they know or say.. The burden of years of interest and payback for the loan will cost dearly... And that for an handout that will benefit who?? The real poor?? kids from 16 year old??? people with income of 70k a month don't really need it or who has 500k on bankaccounts.... Money on bankaccounts are holding the economy back too.... But a single handout will never work.. Use the money to raise the diaily salaries for instead.. so that the poor people can spend more Everything is getting more expensive everyday and people can not buy more with not even 400 THB a day

Why not fine the ones who sold the alcohol outside the alcohol sales hours??? Now in Pai you have to wear proper clothes.. Maybe an idea for Pattaya, Phuket in the bars too that the girls and boys do the same??? Back to the Victorian age? Best thing to do is that tourists avoid Pai and this rafting.... Much better and easier

Can't agree more.. The Government has no clue who is living where, is doing what how much they earn and even if they are still alive....

Living here I heard the same complaints in Cha Am.. but tourists are not allowed to bring blanket, chair or whatever on the beach because the stalles and restaurants say so.. Many disputes but the RTP ( of course) doesn't help.... The beach is public but many claim that they have to rent a chair, table or blanket or are not allowed to sit somewhere.... There are always people of course but much much less than previous.. Next thing will be that these restaurants/stalles are starting to complain and ask for help, but they are ones who ruined their own business No need to help them

My partner showed me a clip of an interview with her and at the end she is trying to speak English... Thank you is even difficult as you can see she has to think very hard.. And for someone with so good education you can expect a bit more I suppose... Even Kurusapa, the education council of Thailand has no clue about foreign certificates, degrees, diplomas or whatever...Many foreign teacher could not get a teachers license because there was no bachelor degree.. Kurusapa doesn't know that in many countries in the EU the title of Bachelor was introduced in 2000 because before that some university students did not get a degree..They had to do a Thai course of 2 years for a teacher education for 200k and after 4 years that course was not accepted too anymore....That is one of the reasons why so may foreigners left the schools. And this woman she would have all kind certificates and degrees but can hardly speak English?? Good that she will be investigated..

Thailand shows again they have no clue what tourists are... Most tourist come to visit the country for 2 /3 weeks, and than return home as they have to work or have other things. They will not need a 60 days visa.. Who will benefit from it?? in fact nobody as the ones who are looking for a longer stay could obtain a 90 days visa already at the Embassy. Now this is not needed anymore it will cost the Government money. And the question remains why are people want to have a 60 day visa?? Nobody gets a clue, nobody has control anymore But as usual the Government makes decisions without proper investigations

They want to have benefit from the 10k handout too.. Giving with one hand money taking it back with the other hand... result the people who get the money will not benefit, as this is the first business already that is rising the price.... next will the petrol, and than others will follow

That is quicker than the Gay Marriage Law.... That will take at least anothe 3 months before signed and than another 4 months before you can marry

And the countries are Alaska, Vanutu, South Pole, Mongolia, Andorra, Vatican City, Monaco, Ivory Coast, etc.... countries 10 tourists a year

And the RTP never find anything no prostitution, no illegal activities, and even no robberies.... But decades already Pattaya is known as the capital of sex... and if they want to change it they should change all bars and clubs, but that will be the end of the economy of Pattaya too... I was burgled 2 times in 1 year time... First time they stole all my jewels, money and safe..But European gold is nothing worth here, even my inheritage from my parents as a watch and diamond ring, but the police first asked how much I would pay if they found it....The second time the burglar was caught by my neighbour... He stole only a few bottles of whiskey that were leftover from my birthday party and some other stuff nothing very valuable.. because the first time they stole it already..But the thief had nothing with him so probably there was a second one, but no effort to find him/her. Only they made a proposal to release him if he paid the damage about 10k THB... I am not stupid of course and I told him I would do it if he brought back the jewellery from the first time, because if he did not do it some else and now they got the things there they" forgot" the first time in a way to speak.. my video and foto camera and they knew exactly were they laid.... But the did not know and he excused himself so many times and he even could not say where the 3 bottles of whiskey were... I said I have no compassion and he got sentenced to jail..... So RTP i don't have confidence in them

It will surely do more damage to the economy than that it will benefit it.. First of all the requirements should be brought down form 70k a month to 35k a month and the bank account less than 250k....And the age of 16 should be 21... It would save a lot of money. But anyway the loan for the pay out is a burden that will take years to get rid of it with money that could be spend much better than a one time handout.. Pita is right it will be end in a catastrophe..Much better was to use money to get rid of the daily wages of 400 THB a day and change to monthly salaries of 15k a month.. More money to spend for the people every day will do much more than a one time sum

Maybe they should do something for the Thai people so that they are going to be able to buy and own a house.. Foreigners okay, but the biggest market are the Thai people, but with the current wages, labour laws, and greed of gthe rich it will impossible for the Thai ever to own or buy something and get some assets..
