  1. As usual in Thailand.. too late with everything.. rising sea levels and threatening Bangkok to flood.. every year floods in the country without preventing or take long term measures, airpollution, covid vaccinations etc etc Hopefully with a decent Government as MFP things will change for better as they have a long term vision, but the dinosaurs will hold them back as much as possible
  2. I think too... If Pita is not election wit the reason as he wants to amend section 112 .. a massive ignoring of section 112 will coming...The damage will be much worse than make him PM. He and his party can't only change section 112 as the need a majority too, but to shoot someone off already before he has done anything is undemocratic and childish
  3. What irritates me is that the people have clearly stated that they want changes, but that the dinosaurs are doing everything not to accept the choice of the people. They come with media shares, keep investigating as long as possible for a decision, come with new tricks as books now suddenly as media problem.. It seems that even if you appear on TV they can blame you of using the media.. This witchhunt has to be stopped. On the other hand Thursday they hide behind amending section 112. But why is my question.. It is strange that if you kill someone, make terrible traffic accidents, or deal in drugs, the damage to the victims and their families are much bigger than if you do or say something that can be explained as violating section 112 and the punishments are much severe than the " normal" crimes.. Why not accept the cahnge of section 112 or are all senators and MP's blind/?
  4. Voting on Thursdag the 13th... in France the next day is the National holiday 14th July ( Quatorze Juillet)we all know know what happened years back
  5. IMO the shares are not the problem. I think the problem is is ITV a media company as they don't broadcast anything since a long time
  6. you are also too lazy to work i think, as you don't know my garden, and nothing else about me..Work with me for 6 hours a day and you have 600 THB and finished at 15.00 with paid lunch too.. Not bad I think for sweeping, weeding, etc...but no problem I do it myself saves me money and can buy a bottle of wine probably you will 1500 thb an hour
  7. I do, but I have a big garden and my age is counting too.. when I am finished I should enjoy sitting in the garden, but than I am so very tired I have to go to sleep...and yes I am considering selling my house. but I live very comfortable and don't want to move
  8. A coupmaker and a dictator don't need to be elected
  9. Exactly.... but most Thais don't like to work.. as I wrote before I am trying to find someone to help me with all kind of easy things in the garden or cleaning the roof, I am willing to pay 100 THB an hour and NOBODY is interested because it is a low wage... weeding in the garden or cutting a branch of a tree it is not difficult or hard work, even young ones can do it, but they want more money... and I am not the only one as many Thai friends have the same problem.. Yes I can maybe hire a Myanmar worker, they are wwilling to work..Thais are lazy and want to earn easy money. Look at Big C, Lotus's HomePro and name it too many people doing nothing and if there are a few fired the other ones complain they have to work, as they are not used to it.... only playing on their phones and talking.. salaries can go up for them who work, all others out better for the company and better to motivate people to work
  10. Indeed and maybe they will work harder than playing on their phone , give wrong information or have no clue what they are selling or doing
  11. I have n appointment too, but only to get medication not for further examination or so... And that for a specialist.. This doctor could spend his time better than only see me and ssubscribe the same tablets every 3 months
  12. there is one more who is the richest, but it bothers me that these people probably are against a wage of 600 THB a day...Suppose they will earn 500 million less in a year, they will get bankrupted... Shameful with so many people in the country that hardly can make ends meet
  13. A lot of patient don't need to go the the hospital. I have to go too every 3 months just for new medication and see the doctor not even 3 minutes. no examination nothing.... just no problems ok? see you in 3 months.. That don't need to be done in the hospital. Hospitals should be for serious cases, not bloodpressure, new medications, or what ever. therefor go to the clinic. In my country you first have to go to the clinic to see a doctor and he/she decides if you can go to the hospital. Than you have to make an appointment for the doctor at the hospital, not as here in Thailand just walk in, is impossible. Exception are of course accidents, and serious illness, but than you can go to the emergency room. And not for a scratch. Would save a lot of money and time and stress for the doctors.
  14. Thailand is not a western country and we all know what happened when PT was governing. Pita deserves as it is the culture of Thailand that the biggest party has the PM post..
  15. The PT shows again how bad losers they are.. Normally the party with the most seats goes for the PM and PT as second wants to have the post.. It could mean that they can deliberately can hold votes against Pita to get the job themselves.... Unite as coalition would be much beter for their image
  16. expensive yes... but I think Thai Airways is overpriced..
  17. Thai airways can never compete with Singapore airways, they are one of the best. Besides Thai Airways is overpriced and the country itself is in need... Surely now it is ncertain what will happen if MFP is not accepted by the bunch of senators, that probably will block the whole nation
  18. If the Senate has a bit of brains they would accept Pita, instead of only hiding behind section 112. Besides who are these men who claim they defend the democracy and do the opposite.. Shameful and a disgrace for Thailand and if the people stand up against these men they know that they are only ones to blame...Not the people on the streets..
  19. With all that Thais it is not surprising that there are so many workers from neighbourhood countries here. O am trying to find someone to give a hand in several easy things to do as weeding, trim trees and or clean the roof, I am willing to pay 100 THB an hour but nobody respond or is interested...As the protection jobs should be abolished. If foreigners coem to work here and Thais complain there is a simple answer.. You don't want to do it. Even my foster kid is too lazy to do anything, as it not paid enough. But I told him and every body many times, there is a big difference between nothing and a little bit. It is easy to ask for things and be angry if people don't give it. It is also easy to say that foreigners are rich, but they forget that foreigners often have low paid jobs to starter as an extra income if a student or so... Laziness will bring you now where
  20. If it is fair play there is only 1 sitting, but the senators are biggest problem. Mr Prayuth have said that the PM should come from the biggest party so if he keeps his word Pita will get his votes too, but ....... in Thailand nothing is what it looks like
  21. It is just common in Thailand that you borrow and don't pay back. You see it everywhere and the reason is easy... Thai people are learnt to spend, go on holidays ( even extra holidays are added), wear every day new outfits, and be beautiful with all kind of cosmetics. If you don't do it it seems you are poor and you will loose face.. so borrow from who has money and don't pay back but live like a God... No wonder so many households are in debt. Start to teach how to use money and save before buying or holiday, instead of thinking that today is the last day of your life...
  22. In which normal country can the opposition parties deliver a PM??? The Pm should be only be chosen from the coalition.. and mr Prayuth, Anutin, and the others should not even be qualified to be elected as PM.....Never seen that the PM is from the opposition, govern the country will be very difficult
  23. It can end in that the Thai people totally don't respect section 112 anymore, and than there is a much bigger problem. It is impossible to prosecute thousands and thousands people for offending section 112. I see now already that several people don't stand still anymore when the national anthem is played at 18.00... It is just a sign...
