The immigration should have a own app for TDAC, so that you don't need to surf on the internet. I had the same experience. I filled in everything and than suddenly I had to pay, but I knew it was free. So I cancelled it and had to search for the Thai immigration website. It cost a lot of time just for something simple to solve.

Yeah sure 33 seconds a person.. They need to check your TDAC, your passport, take fingerprints and a face pic, It can not be done in 33 seconds. Anyway the desks are never fully open, which causes long queues.. Surely if the system went down all desks should open. Anyway a good working system is a big need for the immigration.

The visa rules must be for everyone. You can't make rules for every single person. Education visas are being abused. There are a lot of "fake" educations where a visa is applied for., but make clear rules. If you study Thai, you can get an ED visa if you can show how you can pay for your stay in Thailand, and the visa will only be given if you study at official recognized institutes. The visa is valid for the duration of your education. every year you have to show your attendance list and your improvement, In fact 3year max. Now I know there are people working fora church don't study anything but have an ED visa. Muay Thai or other cultural educations the same. This story is about 1 person, but as said visa rules should be for everyone, and if they can't meet the requirements it is sadly for the applicant...

Indeed for 1 is not a big deal, but families with 2 kids it is suddenly 1200 THB... The greed is enormous here, higher taxes airport taxes already and now a entry fee.. Is Thailand a museum ???? I believe that as there is no progress

Than you are unique as immigration is still looking at me after 20 years as a tourist. And I don't live in a touristic area

Probably it must be paid with the TDAC arrival card...But maybe they don't know that it is the easiest way....Most of the times a commission must find out

Immigration is the host of the country. In Thailand it seems every time that you are entering a prison, with grumpy officers, and no service or helpfulness.. It seems that foreigners are less humans here. Sad but true and this is again a proof. They don't care and they will have an excuse that will not hold. Last time I was in Suvarnabhumi and long queues were there and a woman started to open another desk, but first talking with a working officer, while drinking here coffee, than she opened her desk, but left again to discuss something. than people came to her desk but she refused as they first had to line up before using her desk...And there are signs that you are not allowed to comment on the immigration... It seems they see us as primary schools kids...No wonder people find other destinations

I am not sure but I don't believe empty tankstations and a sudden rise of 6THB is not a policy that deserves a medal. Besides that there was limited petrol available although there is plenty in reserve. The oil tankers which could transit through Hormuz was because Thailand is not involved in the war and nothing to do with negotiations. It was all over the news that Iran allows tankers to pass which are from countries that are not supporting this war. And worst has yet to come with the rising prices and the declining tourists. It will be hard times in Thailand as most people don't have any savings and are not used to save or use less energy

Yes of course Cambodia will seek problems as they are not aware tha Thailand is much stronger than they are. I believe there are no problems yet, but Thailand provocating a bit to distract the people of the incompetence of the oil crisis in Thailand.

it shows again the slow working and incompetent behavior of all parties, with a result time passed.. But in fact it is everytime in Thailand. Boss case is also an issue and it is of ridiculous that even now legal cases of almost 15 years ago will get a verdict. As not long ago a verdict was made over a 2010 !!!! report of a few politicians ... Delays should be limited and case should be finished in at least 3 years time. It should be more than enough time. But corruption is always working, no wonder the country is doomed

If this woman is not suitable why take her husband?? He is involved too. Or do they live separately?? It should be unethical that familymembers could take over the positions. It is really keep the power and money in a few hands. New blood ( ideas and or people) will never get a chance in politics in Thailand

I am wondering how long this will take.. a high speed link and building the whole infra structure, Rama II road construction is a good example of how it is working in Thailand. Besides that the whole travel industry will change now. Over 15 years it will be finished as everything must be done. It starts with approval, than get the land, prepare that for building, and start to build. And Disney is very expensive, and with the declining tourism I am wondering if it such an investment will be profitable here

So now it is not allowed to have casino's in other countries according to Thailand???Maybe start with the illegal ones in Thailand to demolish, and solve the own scam practices in Thailand before interfering in what other countries have or do. Besides that there are much more important issues at the moment than spilling time and energy on conflict at the border. I hope Thailand is not choosing to go further down in tourism and economy

Of course, but the numbers are not reliable... First last week a decline in tourists, this week a big rise of tourists, what will it be next week???And for Songkran it will surge again, but maybe the streets are quiet and less tourists are being seen. But TAT will bend things always that it looks fine

The Thai people are feeling already that they voted and accepted the wrong party/parties. Not even a complete government and the problems occur already. Thai people will be happy with their handout, but now they notice the trap they have trapped in. People's Party is the one that has a vision and should be in charge for the good of the country. But in Thailand never power to the people and as we see already the owners/shareholders of the involved companies are being helped out and the common people have to find solutions for themselves

And the 10 key issues are???? The pilot will end 31 March, but I did not notice anything about it. I see same numbers of motorcycles without a helmet. cars speeding and swirling from lane to lane, many driving in the wrong direction,overloaded trucks and cars, and much more and nowhere policemen to be seen... Or is it as usual an enforcement of 1 week and than business as usual??

Of course everybody must be controlled, always be careful what you say, write, do or don't do... Big brother is watching you... Sadly and that for a so called democratic country and jailtime is always a punishment as there are no other options as electronic bracelets or so....

Of course the people will fill up less and I hope that the useless election cars and entertainment cars stop driving around now. It is impossible to control everything... it is not freedom anymore but it is getting more and more to dictatorship country.. No freedom of speech, even controlling what to wear and do and now again another item. There are much other urgent matters that need to be solved...
