The Government has in spite of warnings by the WHO that it would be too soon to lift restrictions and several doctors too here in Thailand, lifted the restrictions. As I wrote yesterday already if the infections will rise again, the people will be blamed instead of the incompetent Government

drugs convicts should not be in parliament... and even so for the army.. The Government should be a public institution, independent and chosen by the people in free corruption free elections

and the working class is forgotten??? Many people have registered already, but months waiting to get a jab....and still no appointments..

So we don't count green and yellow cases anymore leave the Rapid tests out of the daily numbers and lower the tests and see.. in a few weeks time Thailand is on paper Covid free and we can reopen the country again.. and if there are more cases it is you in Thailand living people who let your guard and masks down or did not keep enough distances..

I think there is a misunderstanding... The vaccine prevents that you are getting serious ill from the covid virus.. It will not protect you to get infected, only IF you are infected you will less ill. That is why you have to keep your masks on because you can be infected and spread and infect other people. If you read the statement that you have to sign when are vaccinated it is also clearly written.. So not only unvaccinated but also fully vaccinated people can infect others. If you don't believe this there is a lot to find if you google

The only difference is that in Europe a lot of people are vaccinated with better vaccines instead of here not even 15% with questionable vaccines...And yes.. there are problems too because people don't want to be pushed to show their vaccinations or forced to get vaccinated.. You should read the international news about it... So THailand want to copy, but it is not working yet here. start with speeding up the vaccinations

A few days ago there was an article in a newspaper that scientist said that there was no herd immunity possible at this moment only if 100% was fully vaccinated.. The reason was there were too many different virus at the moment and not every vaccination was working against every variant ....

So if I understood well a family with 2 kids want to go to a restaurant... Father has got 2 jabs, mother 1 and the kids nothing. They can enter the restaurant after filling in a paper, and mother and kids have to do rapid test to show that they are Covid free. Father has to show his vaccination paper or app and with the costs of about 1000THB for the tests and the personal information they atre allowed to go in and eat... My appetite is over already..because it will the raise the bill with 1000THB for nothing and I even can't drink a glass of wine or beer with my food.. Better can go before 1 October than there is nothing required

The Thai obsession of alcohol I don't understand, but now that even food is targeted is very special...It seems that sexparties are allowed, because there is no food and with coke cola it is allowed

You are totally right... This is not the place for tourists now.... But why is the Government putting so much effort in it to attrack tourists???? If you don't know how to handle with tourist, go and investigate in other countries and than try to make it your own... But what Thailand is doing now is far from being attractive for tourists

As long as the western countries color Thailand red and their travel advice not to go unless necessary, the list of requirements to stay and test the visitors will not be reviewed, and the low vaccination grade with low working vaccines, tourists will not come.
