The people should not love you but respect you. Respect can only be earned by doing your job instead of being corrupt, lazy and making your own laws. Police should not work from 9-17 on a day but 24 hours and help to make the country safe for everybody even for people who disagree with the establishment. If there are non violent protest don't use watercanons, chemicals and guns. That will give you respect and that will help to give a better name than now in Thailand and outside

If I read so many comments of this article, I don't know who is behind it. It seems that there is a long way to go before LGBTQ are accepted. A lot of comments probably are based on religion from a country that convicts everyone who thinks different, while others have no clue what is happening with kids and others who have to struggle with their sexuality. Maybe everyone read more about the subject and or even better have experience with own kids instead of making non sense comments

The father is sick and should be ashamed. It shows again how very needed it is that LGBTQ community gets a recognition of the state by legalization of the relationships. And there should be more education in schools about the subject. In other countries there are even helplines available for kids who have problems like this. A lot of work to do. They should name the politician with name and picture, to prevent he get a new position after the elections next year.

I am living in Thailand for almost 20 years, and I am happy most of the time. Nice house, enviroment, food and neighbours. And yes I complain, as I surely would do in my home country too. But the complaints are just opinions to improve things, see it as positive critics. And with families it depends how you treat them.... It is sometimes easier than you think

While the whole world is condemming the War in the Ukrain, Thailand invites the agressor for a meeting. That will surely attrack more tourists they think maybe. Meant as soft power??? I personally think it will do more damge than good to Thailand.

Learning centers are a waste of money. If the kids get a proper education in school, with more freetime instead of 7 days a week learning and long rides home in a schoolbus. Kids should be free to play and develop with friends in freetime. Not special classes after schools and weekends. No need for learning centers except in a amusentpark where they can relax too
