  1. Typical Thai.. The singers were not so good and the audience complained... a fight broke out and he went home to get a gun to shoot the complainers...Probably all result of too much noise all the time that makes people oversensitive, too much alcohol and too long parties. Temples first of all should be a place to meditate and rest/peace, but in Thailand these temples are used as an entertainment venue with many activities, as movies, dancings, parties, just name it with a lot of noise. Rip to the victims, but probably Noppadon will face no charge as he a member of the volunteer defence corps... Justice in Thailand has we have seen many times doesn't exist. It will be a misunderstanding
  2. The justice system is weak??? No there is no justice system.. it is a system that is corrupt, and only for the poor and the unwanted. Elite, and people with money can do as they want even as the treatment of prisoners or suspects by the police...Examples more over.. Thaksin case, look how they treat hungerstrikers, the prisoners in the Covidperiod, and in normal cells which overcrowded etc etc...With the corrupt judges and the influence on sentences of Government and others by them there is no justice.
  3. I have always questions, as the story is never complete and or investigated... Probably more than a woman sitting on the stairs and being kicked.. And of course as a foreigner never touch a Thai.. these people are holy and never do the same with foreigners...
  4. Thailand the hub of non working days and extra holidays.... And than they are worried about the economy. I have never learned that more holidays are good for the economy. Mostly the opposite.. but with almost 40 days off in a year it is no wonder that that the economy will decline
  5. It are always the few who let the most good willing pay.. Thailand does the same with foreigners. A few are ruining it for the 90% good ones
  6. Be careful........ defamation looms.... This man Patcharawat wants the money not the job
  7. Maybe a 21st century computer system connected with all immigration checkpoints and offices could be a start. How is it possible to enter with a false passport? They take their time to check at arrivals as we see the queues so where did it go wrong? And all the other offenders.....Thais are not better than these foreigners
  8. Maybe start with halving the free days.. They only cost money
  9. There should be rules for the decibels but with no enforcement nothing will work. Noise is too loud everywhere in Shopping malls/ supermarkets like Big C and Lotus's, many speakers screaming with as an extra a background music that belongs in a club, temples, outside parties that you can hear several kilometers from home, in cars driving around with commercials or private cars with boxes that are so loud that they never can hear a ambulance, schools and announcements of the amphur by radio and of course the karaoke bars and other entertainment venues, they want to open till 4 am but first they should be ready with all the rules of noise, checking age and alcohol stop for people who are drunk already. It is their responsibility in fact, but nobody cares about anything
  10. If there are no enforcements there is no effect. Severe punishment as revoking licenses and high fines will stop the overcharging much better. Tourists have no clue because who is going to inform them in time?
  11. Tomorrow is the 1st of March not the 1st of April... Ridiculous story
  12. In fact Thailand is born from Cambodia.. The Khmer were the first that ruled over the peninsula...So no claims can be made by Thailand in fact
  13. It is good to keep things as a heritage, but in Thailand there nothing else than keep everything.... almost no progress is made Everything must be Thai Thai Thai.... to stay in the past.. Ans although it is beautiful clothing, it are costumes for the rich and wealthy.. Ordinary Thai never had these
  14. Is voyeurism not a crime?
  15. No need they can use the transferred to inactive post police officers... there are many already..It can't be difficult to stamp a passport I suppose, but as they are inactive already it will be difficult to activate them
  16. Panic for 10% chance of severe weather??
  17. Advice more than enough, but the Thai culture will never accept ideas from others. Everybody thinks they are the most important person and make their own rules. At the airport it is the same.. Long rows waiting.. Immigration officers who see that is growing start to come and open their counter in a slow way. The visitor has to make a pic leaving also as arriving , biometric fingerprints and as an arrival passenger they need a boarding pass.. ( In which other country do have to show that??) Than checking all the pages of your passport, write a story in the computer and stamp the passport. But take it easy.. rows will grow but they take their time. Where are the automatic passport checks?? Why not all counters occupied the whole day? Why boarding passes for entry? And if you have a re entry permit you have to go to the local immigration office for your address notification and 90 days paper.. Are computers not connected with eachother?? local immigration different than the leaving side and different again from the entrance side?? Maybe they should work on that
  18. It is not too expensive in my opinion, but it is free to accept the deal or not. If you don't want to pay or pay less negotiate or cancel it... Anyway Koreans and Thais are not a good match at this moment, and probably it is a part of it
  19. Sounds familiar... same here Blood pressure meds and very tired even change of medication did not work...I live with it an take a nap every afternoon and that works very well.. Probably it are the meds in combination with the hot weather, which makes you tired also
  20. hub hub hub... Thailand is the country of hubs... even more than the biggest Muslim country in the world Indonesia. Another hub.. false information hub.
  21. Amazing TAT.... 6 million divided by 8 multiply with 52 is 39 million ... and the high season has to come yet... Celebrations for you.....but I don't believe it. Arrivals are not always tourists, but can be Thai people just coming home from a holiday. expats and business men from a holiday or seminar and of course people in transit...
  22. I am wondering why we only hear Thai artists singing all the time.. Besides that Pheu Thai will be banned from these concerts as they disturb them like at the performance of Ed Sheenan
  23. Could be but the interest rate is not only for a country it follows the international rates too, and probably every country is following it.
  24. If they really want the country to move forward, they should have give MFP a chance instead of the witch hunt they are doing now on this party and leaders.. But in the land of dinosaurs it will take a very long time before the country even starts to move
  25. If there are no changes coming, Thailand will loose the connection with the world. Bad education that makes people lazy by outdated law of always passing for example, poverty will be getting worse, no freedom of press, speaking, and writing, everything is censured, and with many outdated laws enforced by army and a corrupt police force, double standards for foreigners, it will be a non attractive country anymore. The people should come together and demand changes, but the government divides more and more as they know " divide and rule". But if the people of Thailand work together they are stronger than any force. It is their country and they have to claim it back instead of now being in the hands of incompetent governments and army
