i saw republicans & democrats are at it again
conjuring up more welfare through quantitative easing schemes,
and with the other hand banning people from going to work/school/resturants,
the result can only ever be a falling dollar

the offers of being taken out to dine & wine at their cost
has seen a sharp decline since covid-19

i think that is a re-bounce, the dying are dying at a predictable rate, then came covid and hastened the passing of the dying,
but a re-bounce had to come after that.
there wasnt enough in the store to maintain natural death rate

It is not about deaths, but the cost of the illness itself and the damage it does.
The biggest impact on the decreased case load is most likely weather related.
Denmark has been open since mid May. Switzerland, Norway started reopening in May.
Canada started reopening in June.
Not only did these countries have better outcomes than Sweden, their economies are starting to show signs of improvement.
Australia has a location specific lockdown because many locals there refused to behave responsibly and would not respect some simple requests. This contrasts to the Swedish people who as a whole did not abandon common sense and behave like jerks. not comparable.
you got that backwards, sweden did better then the rest financially and in fact gdp went up
https://www.cnbc.com/2020/05/29/coronavirus-swedens-gdp-actually-grew-in-the-first-quarter.html
to be sure being an exporting country swedens economy too
will drop as the rest of the world collapses under their self imposed famine

One might therefore conjecture that the effects might have been even greater if masks had been introduced earlier.
it became conjecture at the moment they started to round things up already

like yourself, i dont play the most demanding games,
but i do demand ergonomics so i use external
monitor/keyboard/mouse.
my recommendation is a laptop with hdmi & many usb ports,
and memory over cpu preference for performance

Do you think most of the world's population have back issues? Are you 85 years old,or what? 8-10 hours to Isaan is one thing, 2,5 hours to Ekamai is nothing.
my world is a world of back pain, i have no reference to the rest of the world, i wouldnt recognize pain free if it hit me in my back
-
so i have returned.
it was the good old fashion seats and back support thank goodness, it was the least painful trip i have ever done to bkk.
140 baht for a one way ticket, and for as long as they keep these minivans i will never change if i have to go again.
the minivan left on the minute as per schedule,
in my case 6.00 am, i realized we had entered bkk at 8.40
due to traffic coming to near standstill, and 8.50 we were informed we had arrived to a BTS station,
i left here and took skytrain to my destination.
the starting point in pattaya is soi 48 between pattaya tai
and the gas station on sukumvit 50 meters away,
and the starting point from ekamai is between when you get off BTS and walk toward the bus station, just look 90 degree left when you are heading towards bus station to left and you see the minivans.
i conclude those of you who recommend bus
are either midgets or hump back constitution,
or possibly have no back issues

Did you read the report, its not my theory, its the scientific data, I copied and pasted from the report you may want to take a look, mind you its 29 pages long of text and multiple charts, may be a bit much for you to take in ????
i stopped reading when they wrote the data was 2.3 to 13 percent and they rounded it up to 40

Yes it is, in Germany, a reduction of 40% infections from this study
We use the synthetic control method to analyze the effect of face masks on the spread of Covid-19 in Germany. Our identification approach exploits regional variation in the point in time when face masks became compulsory. Depending on the region we analyse, we find that face masks reduced the cumulative number of registered Covid-19 cases between 2.3% and 13% over a period of 10 days after they became compulsory. Assessing the credibility of the various estimates, we conclude that face masks reduce the daily growth rate of reported infections by around 40%.

lol, so your data is 2.3% to 13% and you round it up to 40%,
that theory is not based on the data you gathered,
you may as well not have bothered collecting data when the
premeditated conclusion divert that far

i rank asians on top then white & middle east for long proud exposure to chinese virus export,
native americans at rock bottom of the list, tho now after 500 years of exposure they are catching up
there is enough inverse correlation to mask hypothesis to discard it
as an explanation, and sweden with now zero new incidents suggest
shutdown and quarantine is equally insignificant,
the only thing that can be proven beyond reasonable doubt is that its dumb to
send infected to nursing homes with very old people, the most susceptible
group by far. many leaders of ours did exactly that,
we would have been better off without leaders,
they fessed up and are now double down by ruining the economy

its an omen, god doesnt want to to consume soy, comprende ?
-
by that graph we can conclude that none of the policies has any effect,
since sweden has none of the policies.,
i think the reason is the rest of the world cancelled sending infected to
nursing homes except england.
the death toll is almost entirely in advanced retiree age

why couldnt i check both that it isnt nearly as dangerous as believed AND
that it caused damage to economy ?
there is enough data to show cases increase with enforced mask that the mask hypothesis has to be discarded

Well you're obviously not anywhere near 70 with a monthly reasonable disposable income ( no rent or mortgage ) doing a bit of travelling, eating out at nice places etc.
Obviously a fan of Logan's Run.
the 65-69 age group isnt the advanced age retirees i refer to,
in fact that group is hardly represented at all,
its an exponential curve so it doesnt really pick up speed until age 75.
the reason the curve drops off at age 90 is cause there is barely anyone left to die

uk working at 66% sounds great after the incurred losses,
now just devalue currency and you can be competitive

After 10 years here I've yet to pick up coins given as change. Apart from the two tone one (10 baht) I cant even recognise the denominations of the coins without examination. Never having to carry coins around is, to me, one of the advantages of life in this country. Knowing that those few shekels are meaningful for a waitress or shop assistant is rewarding for me.
I would never demean myself to the point of arguing for 17 baht.
(disclaimer: the wife will purloin said coins if spotted)
i would based on principal, but bluesofa wasnt aware the shop also has regulations,
a principal they wont override. the bystander find it too awkward to be part of
and found it easier to pay out of her pocket to end the embarrassment.
if no one stand up for principal, the jet ski scams would be higher,
and con artists would be all over the place,
they would never meet resistance if everyone was pacifist like yourself

7,800,000,000 people in the world, 670,000 ish have died from covid - so, 99.9992% are now living with 20-30% of total economic destruction of the planet for 0.0008 of the world population that died, whilst growing the earth population 40,000,000 more than covid deaths at the same time. Let that sink in !
Just get on with life, this is complete bull toilet now.
Open the planet, wear a mask and get on with it.
on top of that, its advanced age retirees that make up for almost all covid deaths.
this age group isnt going to beach/bar/resturants/work/school/riots,
they just keep on waiting for death in their death bed
