    Another tip: 2.937986, 100.888332 In central Pattaya, roughly opposite the former 'le Montien hotel' (but hidden behind other structures). First time I saw it was at the end of the nineties. In fact nothing has happened. It's just standing idle there. I think all the 'valuables' have been looted. Also some homeless people may stay there once in a while.

    Time required for transferring money depends (probably amongst others) on the amount of money you want to transfer. This week I did a test. Some 1.350 € would take seconds and and 1.500 € would take more than a day. Higher amounts (say 10.000 €) and up may take even more time.
