  1. Well, we should all be grateful to Trump supporters like Carol Swain. Instead of donating that money to his campaign where it might materially help him, they chose to incinerate it instead.
  2. G_Money's comment was just another airheaded attempt to make it personal.
  3. Apparently, you're only interested enough to make irrelevant comments but not interested enough to engage with the actual issue.
  4. What you don't seem to understand the role of the upside potential of a stock plays. Given the price of the stock on the first day, and the fact that its model was already failing with exiguous income and lowered engagement, why would any rational person buy and hold on that stock.? Did you know that for all of 2023, Truth Social earned only about 50% more revenue than an average McDonald's? How Much McDonald's Franchise Owners Really Make Per Year "According to Business Insider, the average McDonald's restaurant takes in around $2.7 million a year in sales." https://www.mashed.com/178309/how-much-mcdonalds-franchise-owners-really-make-per-year/ But then, McDonald's doesn't stuff their offerings with BS.
  5. And yet, despite all that discussion, you dismissed that point in this thread.
  6. Off topic? The Israeli attack on the Iranian Consulate is off topic? How exactly does that work? If it had been an Israeli consulate that had been attacked by Iran, would Israel have not counterattacked? UN chief criticizes strike on Iranian consulate, warns against ‘further escalation’ UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres condemned on Tuesday a strike on an Iranian consular annex building in Damascus a day earlier, his spokesman said, after the attack — which Tehran has blamed on Israel — killed at least 13 people, including seven members of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. “The secretary-general reaffirms that the principle of the inviolability of diplomatic and consular premises and personnel must be respected in all cases in accordance with international law,” spokesman Stephane Dujarric said. Guterres called on “all concerned to exercise utmost restraint and avoid further escalation,” his spokesperson added in a statement. https://www.timesofisrael.com/un-chief-criticizes-strike-on-iranian-consulate-warns-against-further-escalation/
  7. I'm sure he is deeply, deeply concerned. After all, it was written by Douglas MacKinnon. "Douglas MacKinnon, a former aide to President Ronald Reagan, said on Tuesday that Southern states should break with the U.S. and form their own nation based on values like opposition to homosexuality, and that his former boss would be the perfect namesake. “For whatever reason the leaders that we’re picking are deciding not to stand firmly for traditional values,” MacKinnon told radio host Janet Mefferd. MacKinnon is currently promoting a book, “The Secessionist States of America: The Blueprint for Creating a Traditional Values Country … Now.” https://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/conservative-author-wants-states-secede-over-gay-rights-msna443226
  8. If anyone is living in denial, it's folks like you who can't face reality and acknowledge that the investigation has failed utterly.
  9. You know, if you were citing most political leaders, I would have pointed out to you that putting lipstick on a pig is par for the course. But given that Benjamin Netanyahu is recognized far and wide for his moral probity and willingness to acknowledge his errors and failures no matter how gravely they might damage his political prospects, it's clear that in this case you have made an excellent point. In opposite world.
  10. Might need a bathyscaphe to determine that. Trump Media stock price At close on April 16, Trump Media & Technology Group Corp share price fell to $22.84, down 14.17% today. 11. Anyone like you who believes that prognostications about political outcomes can be factual must either believe in time travel or the infallibility of crystal balls. Any source that asserts such an outcome is a future fact is inherently not credible. Making a prediction is inherently a matter of opinion.
  12. This article should be required reading for anyone planning to purchase stock in Truth Social Trump Media's First Auditor Quit Months After Being Appointed https://archive.ph/lDhYT The auditor who replaced them are basically sleazeballs.
  13. You think that a quote from a politically biased source is authoritative?
  14. Not only is that quote from a biased source, but if you actually think about what Kirby said, while it may be possible, nowhere does Kirby specify what it would take to accomplish that. Does Israel actually command the resources or the will to do it? Its economy was already severely hurt by just a few months of massive warfare. You seem to unreservedly believe that Israel has mostly withdrawn from Gaza as part of its strategy for victory. No scepticism at all on your part about that claim?
  15. What I said was to the effect that it's significant that the White House has backed way off its unqualified backing of Israel. That reality has forced it and Israel's other allies to qualify their support. Unlike you, they can no longer accept, for example, that Israel is not obstructing delivery of aid to Gaza. Of course, you may have changed your tune on that issue since the last time I dropped in on this forum. Or maybe you're still supporting the relevant Israeli authorities' laughable claim in that regard. Because to you, they are still authoritative. A pretty lonely position to hold.
  16. Really? You claimed that a White House is an authoritative source. Because by the very nature of being a spokesman for the White House, propositions will be advanced that would run counter to the favored political narrative? It is to laugh.
  17. Haven't the time or inclination to go back. I do recall you blaming Islam for the hatred Palestinians feel for Israel and not recognizing at all the relevance of Israel's brutal and rapacious treatment of Palestinians for the last 50+ years. That would be proof of your ignorance.
  18. Tell me, when the Iraq war was ongoing, did you accept White House statements as being authoritative? Naive much?
  19. I'm not about to engage in giving you a course in remedial reading. My schadenfreude, if it exists, would be from the fact that your predictions have failed and your ignorance exposed. Much the way that I might have enjoyed the discomfort of the neocons when their predictions about Iraq failed.
  20. It's not news or significant when a Biden Administration official continues with its policy of supporting Israel. What is interesting and significant is the breaks that are occurring with more and more frequency. And as even Kirby noted "And it is the how that the president was focused on, the way these operations are being prosecuted, and the additional harm that it being brought upon civilian aid workers and innocent Gazans."
  21. I would certainly have grounds for schadenfreude as the predictions of you and your fellow travelers come up croppers.
  22. I'm holding hostages? How did you find that out? It hasn't been easy locatng kosher meals for them here in Thailand. But I'm doing my best. Anyway, you got any different approaches at deflection to come up with? Or are you just going to keep on trying to make it personal?
