One-third of Republicans surveyed believe “patriots” may have to resort to violence, up from 28 percent in 2021. In 2023, 13 percent of Democrats believe violence may have to happen, compared to 7 percent who said so in 2021. Twenty-two percent of independents now say violence may be an option, up from 13 percent two years ago. The survey found Republicans who hold a favorable view of former President Trump are more likely than Republicans who don’t like Trump to agree “true American patriots” may have to resort to violence to save the country. Similarly, respondents who believe the 2020 presidential election was stolen from Trump are more likely than their counterparts to say patriots may have to resort to violence. https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/4274233-more-in-new-poll-say-patriots-may-have-to-resort-to-violence-to-save-us/

House chaos forces Senate to take the wheel on spending
placeholder replied to Social Media's topic in World News
You seem to have swallowed JonnyF's falsehood that Republicans haven't supported these expenditures. -
Subjective? Like claiming your apartment has 30,000 square feet instead of a little over 10,000 square feet? Valuing a property as though it has full development rights even though those rights have been signed away? And there's lots more where that came from. This isn't about fudge factors.

Trump co-defendant pleads guilty in Georgia election case

I've been thinking about that meme that Trump reposted of himself in the courtroom where he's sitting next to his co-defendant, Jesus. Does anyone think there's any chance that Trump can cop a plea deal just so long as he testifies that, his boss, well, everyone's boss actually, Jesus, made him do it? And since, as right wingers believe, the crimes of the Son are also the crimes of the Father, is there any chance that Fani Willis could get Jesus to flip on his Dad? Would that mean that Fani Willis is the Antichrist? That would most likely confirm evangelical voters' darkest suspicions. -
U.S. Raises Concerns About Israel’s Plan of Action in Gaza, Officials Say The Biden administration is concerned that Israel lacks achievable military objectives in Gaza, and that the Israel Defense Forces are not yet ready to launch a ground invasion with a plan that can work, senior administration officials said. In phone conversations with his Israeli counterpart, Yoav Gallant, Defense Secretary Lloyd J. Austin III has stressed the need for careful consideration of how Israeli forces might conduct a ground invasion of Gaza, where Hamas maintains intricate tunnel networks under densely populated areas. Biden administration officials insisted that the United States had not told Israel what to do and still supported the ground invasion. https://archive.ph/Gnz4j https://www.nytimes.com/2023/10/23/us/politics/israel-us-gaza-invasion.html

Actually, the accusations about the shell companies are nonsense. Most of them actually had clearly legitimate purposes. "Virtually all of the companies (many of which now are defunct) had legitimate business interests. Others had clearly identified business investments. Digging through the records, we find only three whose business purpose remains vague; one (Rosemont Seneca Global Risk Services, LLC) may not even be related to Hunter Biden, according to an email found in Hunter Biden’s laptop. The memos do not list any payments that flowed through these three companies." https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2023/08/17/how-republicans-overhype-findings-their-hunter-biden-probe/ None of them have been connected to Joe Biden. All this stuff about the Biden family is nonsense. It's not a crime to be a member of a family. It's not a crime to have the last name of Biden. What James Biden promised may be sleazy, but sleaziness is not a crime. And even if James Biden violated the law by paying his brother $200,000 it's not a crime for Joe Biden to have received it, unless conspiracy can be proved. So far, there is absolutely no evidence to prove it. There is evidence that shows Joe Biden had previously sent his brother $200,000. If Americorps wanted to, it could have filed a civil suit against Joe Biden to recover the funds. But there is nothing per se illegal in Joe Biden accepting the $200,000 from his brother. And Hunter Biden did not receive payments from Communist countries. He received payments from private interests in China and Kazakhstan. And the payments described as coming from a Russian oligarcch, were actually from an ex-Russian oligarch who had long since moved to the UK after leaving Russia because of disputes with the Russian government. In fact, the Russian govt has a warrant out for her arrest.

Do you understand that Manafort either was convicted or pleaded guilty to 10 different charges, only one of which was about a fraudulent loan claim? So even without that charge, Manafort would have been sentenced to prison time. Claiming something was a loan without proper documentation is what landed Paul Manafort in jail.** In addition, as I've pointed out to you a few times, apparently to no avail, there is evidence that it was a loan repayment. Biden had previously sent his brother $200,000.

It's not that the statements are false, but rather that they're not damning. "shell companies where there is no actual business" are the red flag smoking gun? The red flag and smoking gun of what? Is it a crime to create shell companies? What crimes have been connected to these shell companies? How many of these shell companies are legally tied to Joe Biden? As pointed out above, there is evidence that shows Biden did lend his brother $200,000. Do you ever get your facts straight? Maybe you should stop relying on garbage dump websites for your informationHere's what Manafort was convicted of: Trial 1: Trial 1: On August 21, their fourth day of deliberation, the jury found Manafort guilty on 8 of the 18 felony counts, including five counts of filing false tax returns, two counts of bank fraud, and one count of failing to disclose a foreign bank account. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trials_of_Paul_Manafort#:~:text=release their names.-,Verdict,disclose a foreign bank account. Trial 2: The jury selection process began on September 4, 2018;[108] voir dire was due to start on the 17th. During this time, the parties negotiated a plea deal,[109] and on September 14, during what was technically his second trial, Manafort pleaded guilty to two charges: conspiracy to defraud the United States and witness tampering.[10][11][12] He also admitted to most other charges against him, both in DC and those for which there was a hung jury at his first trial in Virginia; those charges will be dropped if prosecutors are satisfied that he has fully cooperated with them. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trials_of_Paul_Manafort#:~:text=release their names.-,Verdict,disclose a foreign bank account.

"HuffPost obtained check images and a spreadsheet reflecting wire transfer records that mostly corroborate Raskin’s claim about the $200,000 transaction from March 2018. The documents suggest an account connected to Joe Biden sent James Biden $40,000 in July 2017 and $200,000 in January 2018, and that James Biden paid the money back without interest." https://news.yahoo.com/another-gop-bombshell-joe-biden-191107999.html#:~:text=The large investment from the,the loans%2C the company said.
