Boycott of US goods spreading worldwide poor donald

"Trade balances don’t indicate which economies are succeeding and which are failing. The United States ran a trade deficit for most of the 19th century while rising as an industrial power. Nor is it true that trade surpluses can keep a country from losing manufacturing jobs. Every developed country — including Germany, which has a trade surplus — has seen the same downward trend." https://archive.ph/IV5qa -

What a foolish example. It was Trump who pushed for the Keystone 2 pipeline and sharply criticized Biden when he dropped it. And so did MAGA supporters her on aseannow.com -

Exactly how is the USA subsidizing Canada? -
What “family” is more corrupt , bidens or Trumps

Based on the amount of money involved, just the takeof one member of the Trump family beats the total many times over of what the Biden family members may have profited. While Jared kushner was in charge of Middle East affairs, the Qatari government investment fund gave his family a sweetheart deal that amounted to a billion dollar bailout. The bailout was for a disastrous real estate investment made by Jared kushner. It could have taken down the entire kushner family. This was while kushner was playing interlocutor between the Saudis and the qataris. Just one of many victories for the Trump family. -

Once again you make a post unbased in fact about my nationality. Are the posters here who support Russia's war against Ukraine Russians? You've got nothing. And I've never seen a Trump supporter give a rational explanation about why the US plans to wage economic war against Russia. Trump believes that somehow the US is subsidizing them because of the balance of trade. But the fact is that the only reason that it's negative for the USA is because of oil. This is the same oil that Trump pushed so hard for in support of the Keystone 2 pipeline. Take away the oil and the US actually runs a positive trade balance with Canada. I remember when South Park ran an episode with the theme Blame Canada. At the time it was funny because blaming Canada was such an absurd idea. It's still absurd but not so funny. -

Personal comments like your claim that I'm not an American. You don't know that. And even if you did actually no my nationality, what has that got to do with facts and reason? Maybe you think Trump isn't waging economic warfare on Canada but Canadians overwhelmingly have a very different opinion. So much so that Trump single-handedly has revived the electoral fortunes of the liberals who not long ago seemed assured of a crushing defeat. Now they're contenders. -

Once again with stupid personal comments. And who appointed you the spokesperson for Americans? You speak for those people along the northern border whose businesses have suffered. Or for people in the tourist industry. In fact, most Americans disapprove of Trump's nutty war on Canada. -

No, it started with Trump moving to damage the Canadian economy and claiming Canada for the United States. Apparently, you don't get out much. -

As others have noted, for MAGA supporters, the cruelty isn't a bug, it's a feature. -

Also got rid of references to Navajo code-talkers. Which was a pretty cool thing.

Calling a backer of Trump a Trumpist is truly shocking. It's even worse than Trumpism. And by the way, what are those 6 pointed tiny frozen objects called again? -

Yes, the huge worldwide dental implant trade. Or the medical prosthesis industry. Interesting, though, you should bring that up. The Trump administration is slashing funding for medical research, part of an industry where the US leads the world. But maybe not so much anymore. I imagine lots of those scientists will be able to find jobs in other countries. -
It started with Trump Trump seeks $46 billion for nuclear weapons programs in budget request The Trump administration’s fiscal 2021 budget includes a major increase in nuclear weapons spending from both the Defense Department and the agency in charge of managing nuclear warheads. Overall spending on nuclear modernization by the Pentagon sits at $28.9 billion in the request, while funding for the National Nuclear Security Administration comes in at $19.8 billion, an almost 20 percent increase for the semiautonomous agency within the Department of Energy from FY20 numbers. https://www.defensenews.com/smr/federal-budget/2020/02/10/trump-budget-requests-46-billion-for-nuclear-weapons-programs/ INF nuclear treaty: US pulls out of Cold War-era pact with Russia The US has formally withdrawn from a key nuclear treaty with Russia, raising fears of a new arms race. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-49198565 The Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF) was signed by US President Ronald Reagan and Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev in 1987. Really? That only can be because you haven't looked Discarded like a dirty rag': Chinese state media hails Trump's cuts to Voice of America https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cvgwzmj9v34o And actually you shouldn't even have to look. You think the Chinese govt appreciates the spotlight that the VOA shines on its lies and failures?

Unlike members of the MAGA mind meld, Europeans don't deny that tariffs will be bad for business. But they understand it will be bad for everybody. Remember that Trump's understanding of tariffs can be diagnosed by his claim that China not US consumers will pay for the tariffs. And I've yet to see how spending more of one's income to get the same thing be it goods or services will somehow magically convert to paying less to get the same amount.
