Full Details of Horrific Murder of Pattaya Bolt Driver Released
peter zwart replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
And there we go again. Sonny boy is born and treated like a little prince. Doesn't have to do anything, isn't corrected, and is the ultimate pride of mothers. Grows up without a backbone, tolerates no contradiction, and absolutely has no idea what responsibility is. In short, a hopeless good-for-nothing who will just go on stealing from others because he's not a real man who learns to work for his money. A waste of oxygen.- 8 replies

Thailand’s major negotiation tool to be AI at World Economic Forum
peter zwart replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Will they proclaim that Thailand is the "Hub of AI"? No way, right? They wouldn't do that, would they? -
The American should understand, in politics, they are the laugh of the world. Trump and Biden should be or on the golf course or in the elderly care home. Better look for some younger talent that can run the country on a proper way. Then also these completely boring threads about those two will end.

Video: Is there any hope for Thai education?
peter zwart replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
As long people say/think like that you already lost "the battle". They are way behind. And i realy feel sorry to see that. But after 10 years in Thailand with upgrowing kids i can make this conclusion. And of course, there is a small group of Thai that are well educated and smart. But its just a very small group. -
Too little and too late. To bring the future workforce to an acceptable level, you are looking at 20 years ahead. As we have seen in another topic, the aging population is also hitting hard in Thailand in the coming decades. This means that in the short and medium term, there will be a significant shortage of qualitatively acceptable personnel. The surrounding countries are not standing still and will take away a large part of Thailand's income. The only solution is to improve the political system (eliminate corruption) and completely revamp the education system with an international focus. Issues such as loss of face must disappear, and people must be held accountable for underperformance. Otherwise, the work ethic will remain subpar. So, all in all, we can conclude that, as it stands now, this is a completely impossible task. Too late, too little.

Concerns after two foreign women sunbathe in Chiang Mai temple
peter zwart replied to webfact's topic in Chiang Mai News
Empty head girls. Thats what you get if you spend your life on TikTok. Dont know anything about the real life. Keep it going girls. Very smart move. -
A similar case has also occurred in the Netherlands. People were falsely accused of defrauding the tax authorities and were required to repay significant amounts that they often did not owe. The tax authorities then seized houses, cars, etc., and even children were taken away and placed in foster care (with the parents not being informed of their whereabouts) because the parents could no longer properly care for their children due to these actions. All of this resulted from a poorly calibrated algorithm that the government sought to conceal its shortcomings. Naturally, no one has been held accountable, and the affected individuals are still waiting for compensation. This has been going on for years. It can be said that the entire system we are in is completely unhinged and sick.

Anutin Addresses Labor Shortage and Skilled Workforce Development
peter zwart replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
What a joke. The man really has no idea what's going on in his little country. Aging population and precisely a shortage of education are the issues. Add to that the fact that the Thai work ethic is not really one of the best. -
Thai student protest erupts over unsatisfactory school meals
peter zwart replied to webfact's topic in Chiang Mai News
This shows how little respect there is here for one's fellow human beings. You would think that as the director of a school, your mission is to help and guide children as much as possible towards a bright future. And then, to file a complaint like a little child when one of your students rightfully expresses a grievance. You could also ensure that your facilities are in order. It might once again be about money and corruption. Kick him out. -

Commerce Min Sets to Boost Thai Cuisine Globally

This situation could become untenable. The complexity is enormous because we do not know, in the case of a confrontation with Iran, what the role of Russia and China will be. But if these latter two get involved in a possible conflict, all bets are off. I remain hopeful that at least China realizes they have nothing to gain from a global conflict.
