Not going to dizz the current mRNA vaccine sceptics, but i think a lot of them are going to change their point of view on this technology, if it turns out to be able to treat HIV, cancer and other sorts of deadly diseases.
I probably will. If we have a more long term track record i will be fine with it. And i think thats the main reason that many people still didnt take the vaccin.

How weird.
One doctor of the Outbreak Management Team that advises the Dutch government on the COVID situation in The Netherlands, (Diederik Grommers) actually stated on a Belgian radio program recently that vaccinations don’t prevent infections and therefore he didn’t see the point of introducing a 2G system in The Netherlands. Since vaccinations don’t prevent transmissions, he thought a 1G approach would be wiser.
He also said the following during the program: “it doesn’t matter if you’re vaccinated or not; if you feel sick, stay home”.
And the man is absolutely right.

Amazing how these vaccines work to protect even with new variants they do not lose all their effectiveness, could that be one of the reasons that many cases in the developed world are mild?
Nice to have your answer before the actual answer. You are fast.

It might be under control at the moment, but if it spreads so fast as it does here, it's just as matter of time before Thailand will face a new wave.
Here in Denmark we're seeing more and more cases of omicron each day that has not been related to traveling in Africa.
We went from 18 cases Friday to 183 Sunday and i think we passed 300 yesterday. (EDIT. We're at 398)
We do test a lot more than other countries (200,000 daily PCR test in a 5.8 million population plus 100,000+ quicktests) and we sequence a lot so of course we catch more cases, compared to some other countries.
We're also starting to find the omicron in our sewer samples as well, so i don't think we're able to control it any more.
We might be able to slow down the spread, but it looks like it's going to take over the delta within a short time if the pace continue.
I will suggest Thailand to massively ramp up their PCR testing, if they want to keep track of the omicron variant.
It's the only way to know how widespread it is.
I don't know if Thailand do sewer samples, but they could do that too if they don't use that method now.
Can you already say something about the amount of people that is serious ill from Omicron?

Let it be more dominant. That i dont care. As long its less strong and will be like a seasonal flu and we dont need any vaccins anymore its fine with me.

Even in my condo their are cameras installed in all corridors and the lifts by the Juristic overlords. I have even added a ring style door camera and have cameras within the condo which we activate when we leave.
At my house in Udon Thani, we had to install cameras outside of the house as well because we had things taken from outside. Ended up building a 2 1/2 meter wall around the perimeter and adding a tall motorized gate with a camera on a pole near it. Still did not stop thieves.
Just have a dog or two. Much cheaper

Young people can just as easily infect older people they are in contact with and produce new mutations and variants.
In China they are killing infected pets for that reason, so closing schools with infections and remote online education isn't as bad.
They are killing pets anyway. A (chinees) men have to eat.

Not only in Thailand. The devastating role, in this Corona period, media plays world wide is something that is byond believe. Instilling fear, half-truths and twisting numbers is the order of the day with disastrous results.

Exactly. Same for me about The Netherlands. In the 70s-80s and a part of the 90s it was a excellent country to live in. Now..........I dont even want the be found dead overthere. Doesnt Thailand have things that makes you wonder??? Yes but at least youve got your freedom here (besides many more good things)

I still dont get it. Why are the vaccinated so afraid and angry at non-vaccinated? They are protected by the vaccine. Right? And the story about full ic........be angry at your gouvernment who cut down on medical expensives for decades already. That is where the problem lays.
