  1. Ahh yes, the blame Israel card. Thing is, Israel had nothing to do with Yemen. It was a conflict between Iran and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Shiite vs. Sunni and Sunni affiliates. Russia is backing Yemen and Iran in large part because it wants to manipulate oil prices. Much of the world's oil supply travels the Persian Gulf through the Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean to go to Asia, also through the the Gulf of Aden to pass through the Suez Canal to reach Europe. Keep oil prices up and it benefits Russian oil and gas sales. Destabilize the. Gulf states and the KSA and it protects Russian oil and gas prices.
  2. My recommendation for improving children's health would be to keep you and your ignorant claims away from them.
  3. Did you know that many of the same people who promote the. false Covid claims also believe that Pigeons are actually government surveillance mechanisms. https://pigeonsarentreal.co.uk/about/
  4. Once again, Russia demonstrates that it is a big part of the problem.
  5. Biden did not give Iran billions of dollars. It takes a special kind of ignorance and willful deceit to repeat the same lie multiple times. The money RETURNED TO Iran was a deposit made to the USA in a purchase contract with the USA decades previously. The USA canceled the contract and then refused to return the deposit. It became an illegal act after multiple court orders decisions had ORDERED the USA to return the money. The USA delayed and delayed and was in contempt of court rulings. The USA finally complied. The failure to do so would have resulted in the undermining of US law and international court orders benefiting the USA in other cases would no longer be enforceable. The USA returned money that did not belong to the USA because it was in the USA's best interests.
  6. OK. Understood that you are right, from a western perspective. However, it is irksome that Thai people should be penalized for the thieving behavior of some foreigners. It's like victim blaming. I admire the ability of Thais to leave their helmets on their bikes, even bags. All the western cities are plagued by both opportunistic and organized thieves. Thailand has a societal norm that punishes the petty thief. In the west we say, poor misunderstood dear, run along and don't do it again.
  7. There are always exceptions. You are fortunate and scored a rare "deal" that really isn't a deal. to most people. It doesn't help if you want to have a Return flight because a 1 way in business is almost always more expensive than the allocated segment on a round trip, so you end up paying more. Trying to redeem a RT for LAX, YVR,, NYC, YYZ is very dificult. EVA has Miles that expire in 2 years, lack of availability and an inflation of reward redemption fares distinguish the EVA Miles program. That is the consensus on the frequent flyer website. I use it for my fare deal and mileage run guidance.
  8. It is the only operation that has been identified and if there are no other known operations, your argument does not hold. And again, I remind you that the Pakistani tribes people were killing health workers long before there were any CIA operations.
  9. What emotional distress? Pilots don't tell passengers the full details to keep idiots from panicking and inflicting their stupid screamin and wails on other pax.. The pilot will say there is an issue that they are working to resolve and if they have to turn back and burn off fuel will say that and nothing else, until there is a need to prepare for a difficult landing. The flight originates in TPE, does a 5th freedom stop in BKK and then departs for LHR. The LHR bound passengers will be protected by the UK 261 regulations which mirror the EU protections. If the connections are on the same flight booking, the misconnect gets automatically rebooked. If it is a separate ticket, the pax deals with it. The airline isn't liable for nonlinked flights. The frequent flyers won't get much extra from EVA. EVA Miles isn't particularly generous to anyone.
  10. Ok, but my statement is still accurate and I stand by it. "The 3 letter agencies did not use measle vaccination or polio eradication programs for spying. This was a false claim promoted by certian factions who were opposed to vaccines. Pakistan tribal members were killing WHO polio health workers long before the claims of spying were ever made." The incident that is refered to was an isolated rogue event undertaken to find Osama Bin Laden. It was not sanctioned by any health agency. In the case you refer to, which was an operational failure, ONE retired Pakistani physician was hired to collect DNA samples under the guise of a Hepatitis vaccination program. Measles and Polio vaccines are WHO authorized and host country supported and sanctioned activities. The CIA vaccine sponsorship was offered as a private voluntary undertaking in one location, Abbottabad. Yes it was morally wrong, but it was one isolated event. It rightfully drew condemnation and rebuke from worldwide health agencies.
  11. Please educate me. How have the "big pharmas" been poisoning america? What are these evil drugs? It's not the drugs that are the problem its the people who play with them.
  12. Tell that to the people who will lose their jobs, homes and lives.
  13. I think alot depends on when you book. Last minute bookings are always more expensive. Yes, Huua Hin is less full than a couple weeks ago, but this is the quiet before the Hua Hin influx. It is still busier than this time last year. I expect the same can be said about Pattaya
  14. I have never seen erosion at the high tide mark of the kind I saw this week. And I never saw a heavy rainstrom like this before at this time of year. The only good thing is that the wind has been blowing to the north all week, so the air pollution has been reduced.
  15. You are not presenting a fair comparison. Locally produced vehicles are also subject to the VAT, Excise and Road tax. Yes, there is an import duty and yes the VAT is charged on the combined vehicle and import duty cost. The automobile profit margin is in the initial vehicle cost. The dealership makes additional commission through the provision of additional warranties, financing and insurance. And you are ignoring the fact that the USA refused to enter into a trade agreement with Thailand that would have provided similar tax and duty benefits that other nations have with Thailand.
  16. Are you really this clueless as to know absolutely nothing about the automobile industry in Thailand? The Ford Ranger and Everest models are built at the Ford plant in Rayong, in Thailand. They are built specific for the Thai and local Asian market and are not subject to import duty. Ford makes a profit and returns the profit to its shareholders who are mostly US based. The Ford vehicles built in the USA are mass produced for the North American market. There is little or no demand for the massive gas guzzling vehicles hard to park like Expedition, Bronco or Explorer in Thailand. Large utes do not sell well in Thailand, even if they are from Toyota. Large delivery vehicles like the Ford Transit are not right for the small sois and dense traffic of urban Thailand. Tell me what US Ford plants can be retooled for right hand drive. Ranger sales are declining, but even at their peak of 29,000 it would not be feasible to retool a plant for such a small number of vehicles that require the multiple options that the vehicles are sold with in Asia. There was a reason why Thailand applied high tariffs on the imports and it was in large part at the request of the auto companies who built plants in Thailand to prevent dumping of vehicles into the market while companies like Ford established their presence in the local market.
  17. He is already doing the conference calls. Unfortunately, conference calls are not always a good replacement for face to face discusssions. Zoom is not secure. The Signal fiasco in the USA demonstrated what can happen with critical meeting calls.
  18. He obviously does not ahve the money to pay for his treatment in Thailand and is hoping that if. the man is brought back to the UK as an indigent, that the UK taxpayers will take care of the cost of care, and the NHS will be obliged to provide the nursing and palliative care. It sucks to be poor. And this is a potent reminder that Thailand is not a viable long term solution for older people of limited financial means. They almost always end up in bad shape, trapped.
  19. Viruses have been isolated. This issue has been previously addressed. You are denying reality again. How is it you are the lone person denying the historical work of Koch and literally the millions of scientists and medical professionals who have long ago isilated viruses and shown their structures and in many cases their genomes? Why don't you prove us all wrong. Take the virus isolate of ebola, or marburg and give us a lesson as you suffer no ill effect and go on to revolutionize the world of science. Everyone is wrong and only you are correct.
  20. No it is not. There are different solutions, strengths and processes to ensure a sterile solution. Comrade, even mother russia supports erly vaccination against preventable childhood. diseases.
  21. The 3 letter agencies did not use measle vaccination or polio eradication programs for spying. This was a false claim promoted by certin factions who were opposed to vaccines. Pakistan tribal members were killing WHO polio health workers long before the claims of spying were ever made.
  22. You are making false statements. We are beyond allowances for alternative or dissenting opinions as you are denying established irefutable fact. Your motives do not interest me and anyone who engages with you in an attempt to convince you is wasting their time. It is not even amusing in the least. Some mental illness conditions result in the subjects very vocal denial of reality and creation of an alternative reality. Even the Russian and Iraninan disinformation messengers gave up on this type of effort some time ago, prefering to incite political unrest as it was more productive for their purposes.
  23. I don't care anymore. let them suffer. Maybe they will wise up. Why even bother treating them, if they are so opposed to modern healthcare. let them rely on their potions and tonics.
  24. No, he travels on private aircraft because he flies with multiple adminstrative aides and civil servants on short notice and to destinations not quickly or easily serviced by conventional airlines.. Like other government officials, he has been making multiple trips to Europe and the USA. He has not been on holiday junkets. How many airlines offer service to Ukraine and multi destination trips in one day to the EU? He was trying to minimize multiple crises. The travel expense he has incurred is insignificant and the fuss is being created by right wing tabloids keen on creating drama. Tell you what, you tavel to Washington DC, and head straight to intense negotiations as soon as you get off the aircraft, and then do a round of US department meetings, and then depart for Europe where you stop off to meet with EU key partners, then back to London to brief. Cabinet, and then go to the Ukraine. Try and get all that done in a few days on BA or Ryan Air. Include the people who have to attend and all the baggage. It cannot be done, nor is it safe.
