    Anybody who has spent 40 years in Thailand without any incidents, is either a monk/saint or is not getting out and about. If you live in some housing estate with security, and your most adventurous outing is to the nearest 7/11, then it's possible. If you bike all over the country for decades by yourself, you will in one form or another, usually just verbal aggression, be subjected to Thai racism.
