I've seen the requirements. The note that there is no guarantee of extension for the single entry tourist visa does not help my comfort level.
Hi, i have been using the SETV 60+30 day extension for all my trips and never had an issue. My flights are always 88-90 days apart, never been questioned about the timeframe.
I think it's accepted/realised that most 60 day SETV's will be extended by 30 days.

Hi,
Great post Millerman.
My 60 day SETV evisa from London came through within two days, that was a week ago.
The proof of B20,000 was via a screenshot of my bank info page.
Proof of flights was a screenshot of the KLM flight booking email.
Return flight was for 88 days after entry, as i always do the 60+30 day extension, this was not questioned.
Insurance was for the whole trip, i could have just got the 60 days to cover the SETV but for the sake of £45 extra i am covered for accidents etc for the whole trip.
The declaration was digitally signed (adobe) and uploaded.
The travel history was my passport uploaded again with red text added stating
"N/A-No international travel to declare"
I hope your application goes smoothly malc999uk

There was a similar panic response to the S.A Beta variant a year ago.
Lets all hope it turns out similar to the Beta, if not hold on to your hats

That's great. No doubt it will be accepted for travel in Thailand, but how about airlines for international flights, and foreign shores? Will they accept the Mor Prom app to verify the vaccination status?

What a load of hypocritical Oafs.
Only 2 days ago the Authorities continued to allow fishing within an area frequented by Irrawadi Dolpins, of which there are only 14 still in existence ( If i read the report correctly ).
A critically endangered species that will be wiped out very soon. ????
Beat me to it....

While i agree with everyone that thinks very few real tourist will go through the aggro of the TP and the worry of sitting near a positive tested passenger resulting in quarentine at your own expense if you test negative (AFAIK only positive results can claim on insurance), the TP does seem to be working a whole lot better now.
For myself, it took around 10 hours of work including research to have everything in place ready to tackle the application, 20/30 minutes to complete, instant acknowledgement and TP QR code in under 24 hours, received on a Sunday.
It is not the best system by any means, just make sure everything is ready before hand and follow the instuctions exactly.
Best of luck

Hello.
My experience with the TP has been very straight forward and i received instant confirmation of my application and my QR code delivered in under 24 hours.
Windows machine, firefox browser and Gmail.
Cost wise from the UK
KLM flight £630
AXA TL 90 days insurance B6,200/£142
T&G hotel-The Elegant Bangkok B3,900/£89 (fairly close to swampy)
Plus around £50 for SETV and £100 for pre flight PCR
All in, a little over £1,000 and around 10 hours work to get all the above sorted and PDF's converted to jpg. TP itself is about a 30 minute process IF you have everything ready in advance.
For those coming from the UK, the only issue i experienced with TP was from the NHS app vaccine cert (blue cert with QRcode for each jab), i cropped these QR codes and they kept getting refused. After a bit of frustration i noticed the QR codes were different from the QR codes on the Covid pass document that i had already uploaded.
Cropped the codes from the Covid pass and they were accepted without issue.
Take your time and have everthing ready and it is fairly painless.
Good luck everyone
Edit-I have a bit of time on my hands, if anyone from the UK is using a Windows machine and is having problems, feel free to PM me and i will assist/advise if i can.

Alas, a familiar story with insurance companies, all smiles while they are taking the hefty premiums but then try every trick in the book to not pay out on a claim.

It's a program to help poor countries get access to the drug, Thailand did not qualify

It says in the Remarks section:
1. This plan is covered for any medical expenses for COVID-19.
2. The expenses of Quarantined with no symptoms or treatment is not covered under the policy unless the insured is tested positive to COVID-19 and that government regulation requires hospitalization for monitoring.Company is Tune Protect. I paid 3,100 baht for 30 days. It's cheaper if you're younger (I'm 64).
I'd never heard of them, but it took only a few minutes and I received the necessary documents by email.

(change the /th to /en for English)
You do understand that if you sat next to a positive case on the plane, got sent into quarantine or hospital and did not test positive yourself, your insurance would not pay out ?

Just 10 tourists test positive for COVID-19 since Thailand reopening
Hows that possible aren't the People C19 Tested before the Flight? Don't they have to have a Neg Test before they are aloud to Travel ?If they tested Neg How can there be Pos ones on the Planes .Something wrong somewhere in the system I would say.
It can be 4+ days between pre flight test and arrival test at your hotel, enough time to pick up covid and test positive on arrival is my guess, or possibly freshly infected with covid and it's not advanced enough to be picked up on your pre flight test ??
