    The conviction won't impact the hard core MAGA types - except that fewer will show up at the polls. It's the swing voters who aren't in the cult who will take this into account when voting.

    Under no circumstances should Trump be imprisoned until after the election. The voters should have right to a more or less normal campaign, and can express their displeasure by voting for Trump. What is important that the voters know the facts of this case, how Trump acted out, and the jury verdict, prior to the election. Having said that: "Lock him up!"

    Attacking a clinical study because of its funding is pointless. Plus, you don't actually know who funded the study. If you are going to attack a study, point out defects in the methodology, otherwise, you are just making noise.

    My opinion is that the jury request for a reading of the jury instructions indicate that the majority of the jury is trying to convince the minority (or a single juror) to convict, and the holdout(s) claimed the evidence is only circumstantial. I still worry about a lone holdout, either a Trump fan, or someone worried about the impact of a conviction on them or their family.

    I started this. I don't have any proof that Putin claimed the invasion would take 3 days. I'm not going to post any weasel words - Putin didn't say it. Case closed.
