  1. So... why do the Russians want to help impeach Biden? It's obvious that Dolt is out to lunch on this one.
  2. So, why do the Russians want to help impeach Joe Biden?
  3. Does Dolt get paid by the post? Or does posting worthless empty posts make him feel better? Trump will have one significant distinction that will put him in the history books: he will be the first presidential candidate to lose the popular vote three times.
  4. 3 million illegals got in under Trump.
  5. The House Republicans made a lot of allegations, but failed to provide corroborating details. Like the claim that a Russian woman gave Hunter Biden $3.5 million via wire transfer. Zero evidence that happened.
  6. So, why would the Russians want to help the Republicans impeach Biden? That seems like an important question.
  7. Nothing protects members of Congress from impeachment proceedings. As for indictment, it would require overcoming a very high evidentiary bar.
  8. True story: After the last commercial mission to the Moon failed, I was thinking that NASA should just do the lunar missions itself. Easy peasy. And then I remembered that NASA was required *by law* to get lunar science data from private companies. So, I was thinking: what idiot came up with that? And then I remembered: it was me. I was asked by Congress for input in the 1998 Commercial Space Act, and I supplied the enabling language for NASA to be required to buy space science data. I just never imagined NASA would manage the purchases so poorly.
  9. My opinion is that there should be a requirement for contractors to have a track record prior to bidding for these contracts. Even if its just launching a small satellite. Picking companies with zero experience to land on the Moon will not end well.
  10. Mr. Zauderer neglected to read the statute (posted here recently) which explicitly states that the victims are not required to serve as plaintiffs.
  11. https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2024/02/22/trump-classified-documents-motions-dismiss/ Trump actually argued that the Presidential Records Act allows him possession of classified records! I suspect he demanded that his lawyers file this motion. It won't help him.
  12. You are alluding to false allegations about Biden. When the person who made the allegations has confessed to making them up, now you are verging on being delusional.
  13. The Speech and Debate clause protects Comer and Jordan against anything they say in Congress.
  14. How about posting some data, rather than links for people to wade through? From the last link: "Majority Counsel: But if I were to just call my dad right now and put him on speakerphone and we’re in a professional business meeting here, would that be odd to you? Mr. Archer: Would that be odd to me? Majority Counsel: Yes. Mr. Archer: That would be odd, if you called your dad right now."
  15. Comer's impeachment inquiry: it's dead, Jim.
  16. My point was that its possible that some FBI agents were cooperating with Russian intelligence.
  17. There are victims of the fraud. The writer is confused because the State of NY served as plaintiff. Like a murder case. There is no living victim, and the State represents the deceased. A convicted murderer doesn't get off because there is no "traditional" victim.
  18. Do you have a link to back up your fantasy?
  19. The House Ethics Committee has very little power to do much more than investigate and report. They are after Gaetz because he is damaging the Republicans in Congress. The hope is that bad publicity would cost him his seat. Little chance of that. What would cost Gaetz would be the proverbial dead girl or live boy in his bed.
  20. Liz Truss tried to pull the Conservatives back to the days of Maggie Thatcher. But these days, all of the major UK parties are vying for the political center, so her party (not some "Deep State") tossed her.
  21. Criminal charges against members of Congress are unlikely due to the Constitution's Speech and Debate clause. On the other hand, if Tuberville were proven to be receiving money from foreign governments, he would be in a world of trouble. I doubt Tuberville is getting money - more likely he's a nut job.
  22. Judge denies Trump's request to delay enforcement of $355M fraud case penalties Just a few more weeks before "billionaire" Trump has to either pay or start losing his assets.
  23. Home sales rose in January as easing mortgage rates, more homes for sale enticed homebuyers
  24. Some posters here still don't seem to understand or believe this news.
