To be precise, my account was credited the stolen amount, after the merchant credited my bank.

It's a bit of a pain, since I can't have the cards mailed to Thailand, so I have to have someone send me photos of the replacement cards. This allows me online use of the cards. But some hotels need to see the actual card, which requires me to go to America to get the physical card. No fun.
