  1. And yet, hospitalizations in the US are at a peak, and over 2,000 died yesterday. So, maybe it is possible that the scientists and doctors are right, and you are wrong.
  2. I am in the same boat. I fled Thailand for the duration of the Omicron spike, and will return in a month or two when it subsides. My best guess is the Phuket Sandbox is the best choice, only 7 days long, no room confinement.
  3. And yet, hospitalizations in the US are at an all time high, and the number of daily deaths are zooming past 2,000. I understand you may consider this data to be fear mongering, so you can continue to consider Omicron as just a cold. Handwave away data you don’t like at your own risk.
  4. Enforced Darwinism is bad, but Darwinism by choice might be a good thing.
  5. Translation: as diehard anti-vaxxers die off, the rest of society will be better protected from Covid.

  7. You have managed an almost totally fact free post. Please provide a link to support your lies. You are going to have a problem, because you relied on some internet garbage that you believed.
  8. I am happy that you have so much confidence in these 35 baht test kits.
  9. Usually a couple of examples will cause the other bars to toe the line. Let's see how much civil obedience is left among the bars.
  10. I would bet money these are Chinese tests that can't detect Omicron.
  11. Per the official numbers, yes. I would look at hospital admissions to get a better picture of the level of infections in Thailand.
  12. That’s a bit misleading. Grouping European countries together mixes countries where Omicron has already peaked with countries where Omicron infections are just starting, and where the numbers are spiking. My contention is that Omicron has passed its peak already in many countries. I don’t think you can argue with that.
  13. Remind me why people have to resort to extreme measures because you don’t want to follow the rules….
  14. I use Worldometer, but even with 1.35 million cases, the growth is not exponential. On Monday, in the US, the case numbers are higher, due to some states not reporting during weekends. You would probably agree that Omicron numbers have stabilized in Europe.
  15. Something is stopping the exponential growth of Omicron in Europe and America. Let's hope that something is also available in Thailand.
  16. *Deleted post edited out* The people who told you that were lying. Official Covid death numbers come from death certificates, not just those who died within 28 days of a positive Covid test. You should not believe everything you are sent.
