  1. Any Farang bar playing Thai music has given up. It means that there are no customers and the manager is drunk, asleep or away, giving the bargirls control of the music. They may understand that Thai music drives away customers but they are usually too drunk to care.
  2. because the books a bar keeps for the Tax Department are 100% accurate.
  3. If by "laundry bar" you mean that its being used to launder money, please remember that people said the same about certain Indian restaurants Back in the Day. And then when Covid hit, those restaurants closed due to lack of business, which is not a thing in the money laundering business.
  4. And then there are the ladies who go back home but still try to make money from Farangs. They fall into 2 types: Looking for boyfriend/husband: they scour the internet looking for lonely Farangs, and then attempt to hook them. Typically, these are ladies over 40 and they work quickly. Within a few minutes of discussion, they are talking abput marriage. It must be amusing for their Thai husband. Looking for cash: these are typically younger, offering sexy photos for baht. Sometimes no photos, just sad stories. Some may be older ladies or men catfishing. Better to avoid these.
  5. This kind of happened to me, one of my investments paid off very well and gave me a windfall. So, I travel with Thai ladies. Took 2 to Singapore recently, went to Brazil with a Thai lady for 3 months, today I go to Koh Lipe with 2 ladies. No girlfriend, no wife. Life is good.
  6. This topic is about bars and gogo that have closed, or are for sale.
  7. It's a joke.
  8. what's the difference between gonorrhea and a bar in Pattaya? You can get rid of gonorrhea.
  9. I just had a lady visit me, and after her work was done, she spent half an hour cleaning my bathroom. I had just cleaned it a couple of days ago, so apparently I didn't do a good enough job. No worries, I have 2 ladies coming tonight who will mess it up.
  10. "The Old Days were better" - Socrates
  11. i apologize, I quoted the wrong post.
  12. I am not suggesting that all bars in Pattaya are doomed. The purpose of this topic is to list bars that have closed, or are for sale. If you want to talk about busy bars, please start your own topic.
  13. not built yet, per the lady. She says its far from finished. Getting back to odd habits of bargirls, this lady messaged me last night asking what I was doing. I told her I was with a lady. She asked for a photo, I sent a low quality photo of the lady. The bargirl demand high quality porn, and then called me 10 times before I shut off the phone. Meanwhile, her fiancee is coming to stay with her in a few weeks.
  14. If you talk to older bargirls, you will discover that some have worked in other countries, when they were younger. Some worked massage, others worked condo in Korea, but most worked room in countries such as Malaysia, Bahrain, Hong Kong, or Singapore. Working room means sitting alone in a room waiting for customers. Some establishments require the ladies to leave their room to do a lineup in the main area. But then go back to their room with a customer. Working room for more than a month usually creates significant impacts on the ladies. I don't recall any lady who worked room, then went back to Thailand and had a baby. Part of the impact is psychological, being alone in a strange country. Soi 6 ladies have a life outside the bar, but not ladies who work room abroad. Part of the impact is physical, getting pounded all day long for months on end. So, if you meet a bargirl who has worked room in another country, she may not be eager to do much when you take her back to the hotel.
  15. I am so sorry the title of this topic offends you. I will try to do better next time. Meanwhile, another bar is for sale.
  16. This topic does not imply that Pattaya is dying, or why any particular bar has closed. It is merely a listing of bars that have closed, or are for sale. FWIW, I expect the upcoming High Season to be the busiest ever.
  17. Death watch for specific bars, not the Pattaya scene.
  18. Great. You can create a topic called "Bars Not For Sale". But this topic is about bars that have closed or are for sale.
  19. This topic isn't about why bars close, it is just a listing of bars that close, for whatever reason.
  20. A new bar seems to open every day on Soi Chaiyapoon. This is not a "Pattaya is dying" topic, it's just about bars that are closed or for sale. Even in High Season, some bars close.
  21. Exactly why this topic was created.
  22. MILF bar on Soi Chaiyapoon is for sale.
  23. Paparazzi bar on Soi Honey is for sale.
  24. This topic is specifically about bars that have closed, or are up for sale. I saw a good number around Soi Buakhow yesterday.
