Because I bought last minute tickets, I have some long layovers. The outbound flight has Thai Airways for the first leg to Hong Kong, and Thai is often late, so a long layover in Hong Kong is probably a good idea. Coming back, I have a 16 hour flight to Hong Kong, followed by a 5 hour layover before flying to BKK. No fun. As long as Trump loses, it will be bearable.

Yep, I just watched a Republican propaganda video about early voting with the same idiotic message about comparisons with 2020: Republicans were told in 2020 not to vote early. So most did. Democrats in 2020 were told that voting in person was dangerous due to COVID-19, so most didn't. They voted early very heavily. So, in 2024, the Democratic early vote is down in comparison to 2020, and Republican early voting is up. Duh.... Low information types look at the numbers and believe that this is good news for Trump.

NYC uses Districts which are large, broken down into voting locations, which are the equivalent of precincts. Other cities use Wards with multiple voting locations. In all cases, voting locations are relatively small, like precincts in smaller cities.
