  1. If you actually read the topic, you'd know you're supposed to count them one by one. Going for the total in one go feels like cheating.
  2. Egypt got a long history with the Muslim Brotherhood, so obviously they are not interested in opening a branch at home. They are also well aware that the Palestinians could not be trusted to keep the peace. More importantly, Egypt is poor, and the notion of adding a couple million mouths is not a popular one. Israel and Egypt have been cooperating for some years now crushing IS & Co. in the Sinai Peninsula. This involved IAF sorties and strikes as well. So it's not so much about Israel attacking terrorists within Egypt, but rather who the terrorists are. Egypt just don't want to be potentially put in a bad light vs. the Arab World. No one seriously expects Israel to re-settle the Gazans within Israeli borders. Other than, perhaps, some far left loons. Certainly not post 7/10. If you think the Jordanian King got any interest in starting a war with Israel, or even allowing hostilities, you're way off mark. More like wishful thinking, perhaps. If the King was overthrown, there would be trouble - but that would again be a regional issue rather than simply an Israeli one. As usual, more complicated than you present or grasp.
  3. How is this supposed to counter my comments? If anything, it the other way around. Goes back to demonstrate that the Palestinians repeatedly fail to grasp geo-political situations, choose bad leaders, and the wrong allies. Guess you'll blame this on Israel as well?
  4. It's an open, public forum. People can reply to whatever. Whether you answer, (pretend to) ignore or deflect is immaterial.
  5. Where did you see JT deny Palestinians exist, have rights etc.? And what are (or whom are) 'ultra-Zionists'? If you wish to compare national narratives of the past, you'll find the same denials of rights, hatred and whatnot among those of the Palestinian side. That you focus on the Israelis doesn't mean the Palestinians were open to peace, harmony or co-existence. Newly minted countries often display a more nationalistic narrative. Nothing surprising about that. The Palestinians can take charge of their lives, produce a functioning leadership and make some tough decisions. You do not wish to acknowledge the issue, hence you blame Israel alone, and refuse to admit facts.
  6. The revolt you go on about was not specifically, or mainly a Palestinian thing. Identifying as part of a greater Arab nation is not quite what we discussed. So not only nitpicking, but obfuscating as well. Regardless of the deflection above, my argument remains that the Palestinians did not pursue any of these supposed goals in a constructive manner. Almost all of their choices were bad ones. Almost all of their leaders incompetent, over reaching, or unrealistic. You can put up whichever revisionist historical narrative you like, it won't change basic facts.
  7. I doubt whether Hamas chiefs themselves have a fully accurate information on status and location of all hostages. As if the chaos, destruction, broken lines of communication etc. weren't enough, there were reports (and clips) of hostages being taken to the Gaza Strip by people that appeared to be mob-like, rather than Hamas. Several comments on that early on, as I recall, even by Hamas spokesmen. If so, it could complicate things further.
  8. I like games. Not the one mentioned in the OP, and probably different taste than most Thai youngsters. On one I play pretty regularly (POE) there are quite a lot of Thais (think the game is even translated to Thai). Most of the ones I meet in-game are maybe a bit older, often passable+ English, and generally fun folk. Generous too, in-game. While many Thais play games in Thai language, there's almost always some English involved anyway. On more 'international' games English gives access to info about the game, so there's extra motivation to improve. It's not all bad, IMO.
  9. His daughter is cute, she must be happy having a dad rather than a face on Line.
  10. Maybe its because reality is a bit more complicated than your slogans. The blockade on the Gaza Strip was not always in place. It's there for a reason. Maybe something to do with Hamas's agenda and actions? The same blockade is maintained by Gaza Strip's other neighbor - Egypt. If Egypt wished it, the people of Gaza Could be on the next flight from Cairo to Bangkok. Referencing 75 years implies either ignorance, or a position rejecting Israel's existence. Israel was founded in 1948. From 1949 to 1967, the Gaza Strip was under Egyptian rule.
  11. "...cue weeping snowflakes on U Tube." And when done with that, they'll just put everyone on their ignore list.
  12. Care to support that with examples? You do realize that in many ME countries there's a difference between public sentiment and government policy, right? Which countries do you feel are 'likely' to turn against America?
  13. Only that... There will be the actual number of tractors bought will be lower, the difference in costs pocketed along the way. All tractors supplied would have some mechanical failure. The rental scheme proceeds stolen. Some tractors ending up in private people's hands. But yeah, almost anything is more useful than the Navy's shopping list.
  14. Oars by default. Sails if you order two. Engine is extra. German engine no have.
  15. Sometimes a an octopus is just an octopus.
  16. Your are from the UK? Alright. Try and think how the UK would react to a terrorist attack killing 10,000 people in single day. That's more or less the ratio. Factor in a long standing conflict, the barbarity of the murders and so on. There is a revenge element, sure, but the rational argument is that the notion Hamas can be contained, reasoned with and so on is out the window.
  17. The article mentions that That's the money end. Any indication when delivery will take place? I doubt it's an off-the-shelf thing, so the schedule is probably delayed once more.
  18. Nah, cuteness factor. Doubt they know a whole lot about anything other than slogans.
  19. I think it pathetic to inform people you put them on ignore. Especially when you tend to respond to them a short time later.
  20. UN resolutions, UN investigation team findings, footage, and whatnot. If you want to pretend otherwise, that wouldn't be much of surprise, but still wrong. Prefer vs.what other option?
