You heard all kinds of stories about a 27 year old  that graduated from Archmere Academy and the University of DE and was a public defender. What  stories? If you were a Vietnam Vet  you took a oath to defend the Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic   one of the candidates is an enemy of the Constitution one is not.     Do you know these stories about Biden?   https://millercenter.org/president/biden/family-life

Exactly right, the timeline doesn't match.

You think Netanyahu didn't know where at least some of that money was spent? By Hamas? He supported that money going to Hamas, while being informed of the plans of Hamas, a year before October 7th. He just dismissed it, thought it would never happen. And then it happened.

And suddenly the IDF had over 400 targets they could bomb in Gaza. So they had quite a lot of information about what was going on there.

The question if Israel should have blocked money from going to Hamas is not a very good question, although it shows the control Israel always has had over Gaza, and the responsibilities that come with that.

Netanyahu chose to support Hamas, for his own political goals. And this is the result.

Btw, when the war ends, Netanyahu will be held to account by his own people, and probably end up in court. And not just for corruption.

"Btw, when the war ends, Netanyahu will be held to account by his own people, and probably end up in court. And not just for corruption.".

I hope so but don't think so.

What I don't understand is why you have to keep on boasting about your illustrious, dedicated service.  What you fail to mention are the monumental missteps made by the agency, let alone the traitors in the ranks.

I don't understand these kind of posts. You may disagree with the poster, but why the ad hominem attacks in stead of refuting his reasoning.

Reading up on other sources, this seems exactly what was happening here: the guy was tasked to "promote" the restaurant.

After falling into this disagreement, it seems that he turned those bought fake reviews from positive ones to negative ones.

Not sure what visa he could have been on, so he is burned either way.

But will we really read the owner of the restaurant getting into trouble for his creative advertising? I guess not...

Nothing illegal about fake positive reviews. Would be up to Google, tripadvisor etc to take action there.

Most had higher risk of dying, after the average life expectancy age.  No real surprises there, especially the higher aged and unhealthy groups.

I was born 1954, and my life expectancy was 67.7 yrs, and almost come true :cheesy:

Covid deaths by age group ... the old & unhealthy (source)

And now look at your life expectancy at birth and your present life expectancy and you're there.

I'm confused too.  The BBC reported that "April saw the hottest April day since 1949 when, on 19 April, the temperature reached 29.1C in London St James' Park."

    https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-44341030

So a high of 26C is quite a drop from the 29C reported on that day.  Is it a cooling crisis or a warming crisis?  Need to make sure I panic accordingly and stock up on budgie smugglers or ski jackets depending on which one it is.

I'm confused to. Are you trolling or dumb?

Sophon Suwannarat, the Governor of Phuket, hosted Mark Gooding, the British Ambassador to Thailand, in a meeting on May 7, focusing on the safety of tourists. The meeting, which took place at the Phuket Provincial Hall, aimed to foster relations between Phuket and the British Government. Governor Sophon emphasised the importance of ensuring the safety … …

The story Phuket governor and British ambassador discuss tourist safety as seen on Thaiger News.

It’s important to note that the meeting between Governor Sophon and Ambassador Gooding occurred two days after a British woman, Zoe Luckett, was hit and killed by a passenger van that ran a red light in Kamala, an incident which has caused outrage among locals due to the lack of action by the police.

Also remember that many crosswalks are badly marked and when you are driving behind other traffic you do not see the "black and whites" of the crosswalks until you are almost on it.

If I see anyone waiting at a crosswalk, I will not stop unless a pedestrian steps on it first or makes it obvious they want to use it.

What a  load of BS. Go back and read my post again. Where did I say anything about anyone getting in my way? And I am not like many.

So you're driving too close to other traffic and don't stop when required.

    Like many.

How could the police test a hit and run driver for alcohol and/or drugs?

The refusal to look at nearby cctv footage is a strange one. It would be interesting to know the thinking of BIB on that one.

Traffic light cctv not working…..par for the course.

Agree with you here on both counts.

I think the source of the story are local expats, and think there will soon be an update.

Me. I have more knowledge. If you can swim in Thailand you should never drown. The waves are tiny even in the large wave season. “Rips” aren’t even a thing. People don’t even know what rips are.

There is only things in the ocean that could be described as a rip. One is when a huge set of waves comes in and all that water needs to get back out in a rush. Doesn’t really happen in Thailand. More like places like Hawaii. And if there is one in Thailand, it’s gonna be rather light.

my expert opinion is either the guy was a horrible, terrible swimmer that could hardly tread water or barely even swim, or something else happened to him, like who knows a bad jellyfish or knocked his head or something.

It's not about waves. Your expert opinion is totally wrong.
