The red poppy is not the same gesture as the homosexual rainbow at all. They might be performative gestures but one is to honour and remember our families who died in the wars before us. The gay rainbow is a very modern symbol and is about the the right to the expression of sexual pleasure in which there is no sacrifice.

I agree they're not the same gesture.

    But this statement is poppycock.

"The gay rainbow is a very modern symbol and is about the the right to the expression of sexual pleasure in which there is no sacrifice."

    Never going to happen.

Nobody will ever know how the conversation went but my suspicion is the Thais were looking for an indication of net income rather than gross.

At the end of the day, a tax liability cannot be construed as income.

Some embassies are still issuing income letters. The issue is the embassy has to be able to verify the stated information.

Why are there so many more trans kids then there were 100 years ago?

The "more educated" you refer to are generally leftist academics and advocates. Promoting one thing over another does not make you "open minded". that's just leftist rhetoric.

Do you not see special events and calibrations and whatnot as promotional?

I do not think for a moment that you want to trans kids, but pretending no one is trying is trans kids, many even with good intent, puts you on the wrong side of this issue.

Noone is promoting to trans kids. I really don't understand the obsession some have with LGBTQ.

That said, i agree with the headline, the message gets lost in the execution.

so !! Putin retaliates and send missiles to civilian zones killing more innocent people, why isn't Zelensky doing the same, why does Ukraine only targets military sites, I am for the one eye for one eye,  Zelensky should target any site in Russia regardless if it's military or not, he should do as the Russians do, close your eyes and shoot/push the button and will see where it lands, scare the shxxxxxxttt of the Russians, stop being the nice guy because whatever Ukraine does Putin calls it an act of sabotage and whatever Russians do it's an act of what??? murdering ??

I think ultimately striking civilians doesn't help Ukraine. Stick to military targets, all over Russia but especially those that form a direct threat to Ukraine. That also includes military personnel all over Russia.

Just a quickie from AI Gemini:

In the United States, while nationalization (government taking control of a business) is generally possible, it typically involves compensation to the original owners, as mandated by the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution. This ensures "just compensation" is paid when the government takes private property, including businesses.

-- then Elon could then go back to his real business of making more kids.

That would add a nice chunk to the deficit.

I would imagine if and its a big IF Sweden agrees to sell its jets to Thai/China they will be stripped of all the latest tech first!!! Just remember the headlines "Thailand set to buy USA jets F16". Just to be told "No!" By the USA!!@

Yes, now. The Christians moved to the Netherlands. We're talking about Indonesians in the Netherlands here, not Indonesians in Indonesia.
