Krungsri is closing their Krungsri online services from 1st Oct 2025. But current users of Krungsri online can move to Krungsri Biz online, free of charge. That is their business online banking. I do not have business accounts with them, just 2 savings account. I was able to activate krungsri biz online. I have an account with UOB , they have great Internet Banking. You can access it from anywhere in the world. They have a secure token device which generates password for login, eliminating the need for sms otp. So , even if you loose your Thai sim, you still have access to your UOB account.

The Thai immigration is notoriously corrupt, their whole visa system is corrupt and cash generating for their government. Same goes for re entry permit
