    Sep 2022 you say? My friends application was sent the same time. Did they share the candidate list with you? I have the list with me since he is a close friend and I helped him in this journey, If my friend is invited for interview, I will let you know

    If you get married now, it wont have any effect, as you applied on PR basis. Even if you marry now, the marriage certificate needs to be 3 yrs old, it would entail more waiting. Just stay as it is and hope you may get invited to the next available interview.

    Yes. My friend in MOI told me that married to Thai applicants move quicker in the que whereas PR basis ones move slower. I have no idea this is true or not, so please don't quote me on this.

    Its written in the Nationality act that "the candidate must have an occupation" So it depends on how the officer of the day interprets it. My friend who naturalized in 2020 was asked for WP at his District Office (Bangrak) before they could issue his ID card. So nothing is set in stone. If you, by any chance loose your WP/retire, I would suggest not to mention of it, when asked for.

    2020 candidates are still waiting, you are way too new. There is an extreme backlog in MOI interviews

    They don't check WP at MOI interview, but I strongly suggest maintaining it as long as you can. @Marcati was asked for WP at the oath ceremony, so you never know.

    I have visited several RD Offices throughout the length and breath of Thailand, never once encountered a person who could even speak kindergarten level English. Their HQ on Paholyothin road has over 200 staff, none could speak English. So how will they communicate with the farang that his/her tax is due ?

    Yup. Work permit is tied to your Non-B visa, if you let your WP lapse your Non-B goes down too.

    Doesn't matter, it should be a Thai sim and registered/updated against your Krungthai account. As @Nemises said you can receive otp free of charge

    Indeed, my experience matches as per Khun Gary. I am registered at Phramongkutklao Hospital , took 1 hour or so for the first time, future visits = 10-15 minutes
