  1. I thought the idea of the far left banning books containing offensive words like "woman" and "fat" was a conspiracy theory by the far right? Another conspiracy morphing into confirmed fact. Oh dear!
  2. This is too bad, poor fish.
  3. Well to be fair, how many times were we told that his health was absolutely fine and we should trust the MSM about that - rather than rely on our own eyes and ears. "Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. John Fetterman’s (D) primary care physician said in a new letter that his recovery from the stroke he suffered in May is progressing well and that he “has no work restrictions and can work full duty in public office.” Clifford Chen, a doctor at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), wrote in a medical report that a Friday exam showed the Democratic Senate nominee is keeping up “good fitness and health practices” during his recovery and that his vitals look strong." https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/3695667-fetterman-doctor-candidate-in-good-health-has-no-work-restrictions/ It was clear to me he was having major problems and would not be able to do the job, ah the dangers of free and critical thinking. This is another in a long line of false narratives beneficial to the democrat party that magically changes after an election. Coincidental no doubt.
  4. The use of emotionally loaded language is generally a sign that the person has no rational or logical argument to make and thus resorts to abusive language or otherwise nonsensical inflammatory comments. Here are some examples from this very thread. Of course there is no such thing as the "American fascist party" although the party that tried creating a ministry of truth headed up by a known laptop denier to continue punishing and censoring truth and forcing a self serving false narrative on Americans is close to fascism. And the last one is amusing. I often see prominent posters of the extreme left persuasion here mis-gendering Lyndsey Graham. Always the way isn't it. I can't remember ever having seen a conservative poster resort to abuse when their argument goes down the swanny. Lyndsey Graham - frequently mis-gendered by abusive posters. Michelle Obama - never mis-gendered. Food for thought... "The GOP is all about anti LGBT all the time. Just like Putin. Fascists think alike." "It's one of these fake issues the American fascist party promotes as important because they have no interest in addressing real problems." "Well, there goes Lindsey Graham's side hustle. I bet he does a great Blanche du Bois."
  5. Worth remembering when biden started this abomination of a presidency his predecessor left him with an inflation rate of 1.4%. This is all the democrats doing, reaching a peak of absurdity when they passed a spending boondoggle they amusingly called the inflation reduction act which they knew would not reduce inflation(1). Let's get the adults back in charge asap. "The White House celebrated its first-year economic achievements by tweeting: “When @POTUS and @VP were sworn in, our economy was on the brink of collapse.” That is a flat-out lie. As Biden first set foot in the Oval Office a year ago, real GDP was growing at 6.3 percent, inflation was 1.4 percent" https://thehill.com/opinion/finance/590451-how-biden-torched-the-trump-recovery/ (1)supporting evidence for uncomfortable claim made "With inflation raging near its highest level in four decades, President Joe Biden on Tuesday signed into law his landmark Inflation Reduction Act. Its title raises a tantalizing question: Will the measure actually tame the price spikes that have inflicted hardships on American households? Economic analyses of the proposal suggest that the likely answer is no — not anytime soon, anyway. https://apnews.com/article/inflation-biden-health-congress-climate-and-environment-63df07e15002c01fb560a6f0e69fcb03
  6. Literally no idea why team Biden are finding this a joke. The story has gone from you can't shoot balloons down over the country because it's dangerous and it's easier finding the thing you shot down in the ocean rather than land. Cuz' the adults are back in charge, listening to their advisors etc etc. To today's story that MULTIPLE objects are being shot down all over the place and these things are unidentified flying objects(1). Now if anyone has been doing some free thinking (i know, i know, it's dangerous and bad for democracy) they will have concern that shooting down possible nuclear powered objects or even unknown technology propulsion systems down over land inhabited by humans is questionable in terms of elf and safety - particularly compared to balloons which we all accept are dangerous to shoot down over land. Not to even think about the ramifications of starting an intergalactic war with far superior equipped creatures. IMO this administration is a clear and present danger to life on earth, and having chronic liar and disinformation master KJP laugh and deny it is as good as confirming all the worst fears. 1.https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11742875/U-S-military-shoots-unidentified-object-Lake-Huron-three-days.html
  7. correct, although I have often seen it denied. "Given those complexities, Mrs. Bradshaw said she resented the fact that the school had made her feel like a bad parent for wondering whether educators had put her teenager, a minor, on a path the school wasn’t qualified to oversee. “It felt like a parenting stab in the back from the school system,” she said. “It should have been a decision we made as a family.” https://www.nytimes.com/2023/01/22/us/gender-identity-students-parents.html And the truly sad part of this is this/and other poor caring parents will be(as we can all see from posts above) falsely described as a bigot a fascist, a minority hater etc etc for the dreadful crime of caring about her minor child's welfare.
  8. I will paraphrase him due to the profanity, but Mr Water's comments recently that it is idiotic to claim that there was no reason or provocation for Russia's Ukraine military operation, were spot on. Of course there is a reason for everything, and that 2 opposing sides will both have their opinions on what caused the problem. There is no black/white, everything is in shades of grey. The left repeatedly claiming that " it is solely the fault of Putin" while waging a proxy war against Russia could easily lead to full on nuclear war and the end of life on earth. We need competent leadership immediately, and get on with NEGOTIATING for PEACE before it is too late.
  9. "as has been made clear" by who? by your own speculation? By the Biden activist media? What has concerned me since this chaotic Biden balloon saga started was the ridiculous yet prevailing narrative that objects can not, nor should not be downed over land - even sparsely populated badlands, and that (IMO because of how it played out) it is better to down objects over the sea. Now this is problematic as searching the sea bed for minute pieces of whatever it was is difficult. Yet if it had been downed over land a 7 year old with a gun dog could easily have located it, and nothing would be lost due to being buried in sediment or floated away. They would have "the opportunity to study the capabilities of the previous balloon's payload" with it nice and dry sitting on their desks, rather than waterlogged and spread out over a vast area of silty sea floor. It made no sense. And now finally, there is an admission that the narrative was nonsense and of course an object could and should be downed ASAP.
  10. ?? What? We have just had a week with Biden fans telling us that it was not possible/too dangerous/easier to retrieve something from 20m deep in the ocean than on land (insert any other nonsensical reason) as an excuse why it couldn't nor shouldn't be done. And now they just did exactly that? What a shambles this administration is. As a sample of the why's a balloon can't be shot down over Alaska.... Credo "It entered the US in Alaska. I haven't seen a map of the path, but with such close proximity to Russia, it's a little tricky to shoot something down that may have strayed. Russian and US airspace have little separation in parts of Alaska. " Tug "Ho ho hooo that’s funny naa it’s just being responsible and not getting folks hurt on the ground lmao ????" Pomchop - on why waiting till the previous balloon crossed the entire country before hitting it "Biden did exactly what any sane president would do and that is order it shot down as soon as the experts said it would be safe to do so. ...Biden is the president and does not claim to be an expert on spy balloons, aircrafts, falling debris, possible intelligence salvage....that is why presidents surround themselves with the best and the brightest and don't denigrate/fire every single one of them the minute they give him advice he does not want to hear." and then fast forward a couple of days, to today;s OP and... "The White House announced Friday that President Joe Biden ordered the military to down what it described as a “high-altitude object” hovering over Alaska earlier in the day."
  11. To be fair, and no fan of PM, he did get fired from his job for correctly pointing out Megs was lying.
  12. Yeah, real surprise isn't it. I literally can't think of any of what the left called "conspiracy theories" in the last few years that haven't been proven true. And who would trust a word they say now?
  13. "Let’s start with inflation, which a few months ago hit a 40-year high. In December 2020, the last full month in office for President Donald Trump, the rate of inflation was 1.4%, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). The average for the entire year of 2020 was 1.2%, data show. But after Biden killed the Keystone XL pipeline, froze student debt collection, rejoined the Paris climate accords, made a pathway for illegals to gain citizenship, and halted construction on the border wall — all actions he took on Day 1 — inflation started to climb." https://www.dailywire.com/news/by-the-numbers-the-state-of-bidens-america-is-absolutely-abysmal Ah yes, those "competent professionals with a potus that’s smart enough to let them do their jobs" !!!
  14. These potentially radar jamming balloons are detectable from an old fashioned method. People looking up. Was nobody looking up on Trump's 3 times he allowed balloons from China to cross the country? "People from towns including Villa Ridge, Hermann, Troy, Wentzville, O'Fallon, Missouri, Ballwin, south St. Louis and others reported seeing the white dot in the sky Friday afternoon." https://www.msn.com/en-us/travel/news/across-region-st-louisans-look-up-and-see-chinese-spy-balloon-in-sky/ar-AA175LBi?item=flights%3Aprg-tipsubsc-v1a&ocid=windirect
  15. I think the "deeply dangerous" he's referring to the false accusations and statements from quarters that should be apolitical designed to let biden off yet another scandal by falsely claiming the same happened under Trump. A familiar pattern to many of us.
  16. All that is left now is to determine whether the 3 balloons transited the entire US mainland like Biden's did, or whether it was near the Aleutians but not even in US airspace at all? I suspect strongly the 3 balloons under Trump did NOT cross the entire mainland and likely did not even enter US airspace at all. Nothing like a collapsing narrative!
  17. Reads like frantic backpedalling from the false claims yesterday the Trump admin allowed at least 3 of these Chinese spy balloons to cross the USA just like biden's balloon did. Ouch. Always worthwhile running a quick filter through eyebrow raising news. If it is attacking Trump, from media that famously called the Biden laptop "Russian disinformation" without evidence, and is perfectly timed to distract from disasters in the Biden administration it is almost certainly fake news.
  18. quote 1 "Did President Trump covered up the incursions because he did not want to jeopardize the relationship with China that may soured up his businesses there? I don't know. " 2 "Moreover, did Trump even protested to China about the intrusions? We didn;t hear about that too. Too much coverup during Trump's adminstration to give him a pass on any benefit of doubt. " 2 highly inflammatory false claims, both as usual attacking President Trump. Now, what really happened? "The military did not detect previous flights of Chinese spy balloons over the U.S. that took place during the Trump administration, a top general said Monday, due to a “gap” in the Defense Department’s ability to track certain airborne objects. Gen. Glen VanHerck, head of North American Aerospace Defense Command, cited the issue as the reason that at least three spy balloon flights were not briefed to senior Trump officials at the time." https://www.politico.com/news/2023/02/06/military-chinese-spy-balloon-00081371 Interesting. Neither Trump, nor his administration knew about the balloons. So the past 24 hours bash-a-thon of Trump for allowing at least 3 Chinese spy balloons to transit the USA was, as suspected, a lie. A perfectly timed, totally self serving lie, crafted to give false perspective to Biden's weakness and chaotic response. Just typical....
  19. Just so much wrong in such a short post. 1.Canada is not part of the USA 2.No Canadian will get "a bit miffed" if the US shot down a spy satellite in US waters near the very remote Aleutian islands(part of Alaska). 3.Who said anything about shooting it down in international airspace? That would have been very foolish and possibly illegal, however nodody apart from you is suggesting that. "The balloon entered U.S. airspace on Jan. 28 north of the Aleutian Islands, entered Canadian airspace over the Northwest Territories on Jan. 30, then traveled south and reentered U.S. airspace over northern Idaho on Jan. 31, according to a senior military official." https://abcnews.go.com/US/chinese-surveillance-balloon-spotted/story?id=96883610
  20. Quite incredible how Trump's classified documents issue has dropped off the 24/7 news cycle it was on, isn't it? I wonder how that could have happened? Did unpredicted events force the narrative to change dramatically? From the most serious crime possible and a clear danger to US security, to crickets... I am left wondering if the outrage was justified and authentic?
  21. might it have been better to destroy it over the Pacific before the spy mission even started? lots of water there and no people...
  22. Can you be specific about your claim there was interference in the 2016 election? I realize you are probably referring to the long debunked claim that Trump colluded with Putin to effectively cheat in the 2016 election(1), while now we know the DOJ was involved in actively censoring conservatives and shutting down inconvenient news(2) before the election which totally misinformed the public(3). Which interference do you refer to? supporting links for all claims made (1) https://nypost.com/2019/04/18/verdicts-in-its-a-complete-exoneration-for-trump/ (2) "The FBI pressured Twitter to suppress The Post’s blockbuster scoop about Hunter Biden’s laptop by warning it could be part of a Russian “hack and leak” operation — even while knowing the concern was unfounded, according to internal company records made public Monday." https://nypost.com/2022/12/19/fbi-reached-out-to-twitter-before-post-broke-hunter-biden-laptop-story/ (3)https://www.politico.com/news/2020/10/19/hunter-biden-story-russian-disinfo-430276
  23. from the OP "“the FBI has never been in the business of investigating speech or policing speech at school board meetings or anywhere else, and we never will be. Our focus is and always will be on protecting people from violence and threats of violence,” the bureau said." Well that is a complete lie. Thanks to the incredible Twitter files and honest media outlets with the integrity to cover what happened we know that is a lie. "FBI leadership and Twitter censors conferred constantly about how to shut down political speech based on its content, confirming the suspicions of, well, anyone who was paying attention. And it proves without a doubt that over the past few years, countless Americans have undergone a real violation of their First Amendment rights." https://www.newsweek.com/fbi-colluded-twitter-suppress-free-speech-where-outrage-opinion-1768801 Go get them Jim Jordan, don't forget the perjury charges too!
  24. Looks like shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted. A show of strength would have been to wallop the thing the 2nd it came near the US not wait until it had FLOWN OVER THE ENTIRE COUNTRY presumably spy mission complete and data sent home. What weakness, what confusion, a lame duck president on his last legs.
