I'd need to check but I think the yearly fee's are similar to my debit account. Balance is zero'd during the 45 day interest free period. Not keen to have a large amount of cash in my wallet.... cash is better kept offshore in high interest accounts and/or investments. CC works for me, but agree may not for others.

Nothing unusual for me to spend a coupla hundred k a week. Much better/safer to use the plastic than to carry fat stacks.

My two CC's (K Bank & BKK Bank) are 45 days interest free. Much better than carrying cash and they zero out end of the month when my Salary is paid.

I use my Thai CC's on Aliexpress. I applied to my bank(s) for mine.... they wanted 6 months of salary slips, copy of passport main page, Copy of extension stamp page, copy of work permit.

De-register in BKK. Re-register in Chonburi. Not a hard process but takes some leg work.
