    Not a fuel issue. Does a semi auto scooter lock the back wheel up if you run out of fuel !!!!!!!! no it free wheels. Oil level or auto clutch/gear box issue. Is it a Somchai, bit's-a bike special, .bits off this bits off that, now sold to Falang ? Op has not said anything about the bikes history.

    My old pink uk DL works just fine to 70 years old. and is still valid in the uk as long as i go back to the address it's registered at. Unless they have changed the law on this. ? Maybe it become invalid after being non resident ?

    Maybe I worded my post wrong. I was only talking about using a Thai license in the uk as a uk citizen and non resident, but it seams to, me that you can't use a Thai license for a year in the uk, as you would become a uk resident again after 183 days and that would require you to use a uk license. Anyone know if this is correct or not.?

    Yes, interesting that question. But they do insist on a telephone number on the application form. probably the same if using an agent anyone know about this. ? I don't know as never needed or used an agent.

    Reckon they can pull up your complete history of in out of Thailand at the immigration office if they wish to. I could be wrong, anyone know 100% on this ?

    Does that reset to a fresh 12 months if you leave the uk and then come back say a month latter ? or is it 12 months and that is all you are ever allowed. ? Ps, Ah, maybe was a silly question as you would be uk resident by then.

    I do think the level of suspicion of us retired folk. Should be ratcheted down, instead of up. it's all a bit nasty of them, I think.

    Could always use a bread machine to make bread. they are not very good. Unlike an Air fryer and food mixer or serious elbow grease.
