Solar power, can it be done DIY?
Tubulat replied to Sophon's topic in Alternative/Renewable Energy Forum
Okay, so despite all the problems, you still chose 'Must' again.I remember you complaining about the noise from the fans, they do that to me too but they are hang outside so it doesn't bother me.But unlike the problems you had regarding feeding them back to the grid, which I don't want, on mine they stay connected to the grid even though the batteries are full, so each time I have to manually disconnect them from the grid. This complaint and the other that it is impossible to get info via an app on my phone I submitted to Must after I received an email regarding the new inverter, with a lot of sorries but no answer for a solution. -

There is a data cable between the 2 inverters, the lenght of the cables from each inverter to the battery packs are about the same, both are 35 mm sq. BTW did you get also a message about a new inverter from Must? -
Funny though, the guy who has to offer the presents is wearing pants that are too short, or short.

Looks like you're a Thai immigration officer.... How about a color copy? Once I had an argument about that when he said I should sign it with a blue pen for the same reason. Also to him then I asked if he knew of the existence of color copy machines. -

We as foreigners are being milked more and more. This week I wanted to visit the wineyard just outside Hua-hin, 200 Thb/person.200 thb for what, there is nothing to see, there is a restaurant, you see some vineyards and that is all, i am not crazy surely, so turned right around.Apparently I took the wrong way back because a guard came up behind me and was gesticulating violently that I was not allowed to go there. Bye, bye vineyard. -
Money in the Bank-A friend has confused me
Tubulat replied to geejay's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
In my opinion it is not possible to frozen the amount on the bank account. Supposed I use an agent, a neighbor of mine did that once, the agent put the 800k on his account and after he got his retirement extension, the agent took the amount back. -

Yes I'm afraid too. Last week I took out insurance on my house because of lithium batteries as a result of solar cells on the roof. The batteries are placed outside under the carport but something can always happen.

What Is Your Favorite Bank...
Tubulat replied to AcuDoc's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
It happens to me too, at the same bank long time ago on Phuket, I already had an account there, and also wanted to have a credit card, asking, asking asking...forget it. My then girlfriend had an acquaintance working there, she took care of the loans, and yes in a short time it was arranged. BTW, for me there is no single favorite bank, but unfortunately you can't do without it.
