  1. Hi

I tried taking some photographs of some spa products my wife makes and the result was pretty poor (I have one of those Nikon S6 compact digital cameras - the quality is generally poor!).

I remember some time ago reading the there's something called a 'white box' or a name similar to that into which you put the item to photograph it.

Does anyone know where I can buy a 'white box'?

    Thanks

    Mick

  2. Exactly JetSet. Most of the program names don't fit into the small (non-scrolling) window. What makes me laugh is when on TCM they have something like "Star of the month: Charles Laughton" Th ... and the name of the movie is gone. What tossers. My UBC box packed it in the other day and I got the latest box. It's the worst I've had. Obviously programmed by a complete moron.

  3. Skippy, I noticed that on my O2 Atom, when I've received lots of emails then memory is tied up. I then have to delete the emails and then delete them from the deleted folder to free up space. I'm sure that there are other solutions.

  4. Hi

Over the past few days we've been getting rejected messages from AOL like this:

    From: <[email protected]>

    To: <[email protected]>

    Sent: Wednesday, July 11, 2007 9:43 AM

    Subject: failure notice

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at asianet.co.th.

I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.

This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

We use a True ADSL connection and the bounced emails seem to come from Asianet.co.th.

Anyone know of a way around this? We're not sending out spam and some customers getting angry that they're not receiving their vouchers.

    Thanks

    Mick

  5. Thanks Phil, useful.

Traveller and Crushdepth - Got it sorted. Bad information from the support desk. MailEnable is used for general email addresses and ASPEmail is used for sending emails via ASP.

I've installed that and it seems to be working now. Phew.

  6. Hi

On Wednesday morning I woke up to discover that our London based server had gone offline. I tried accessing it via Remote Control but couldn't get access. I phoned a sleepy sounding support guy to hiim to reboot it only to discover that the problem was more involved.

Anyway, in the end they decided to migrate all our software/data to a new server. About 20 minutes ago they finally applied the secure server certificate and our site's back up and running again.

We have one problem that support don't seem to want to handle or cannot sort out:

We use MailEnable to handle all our emails and to send email via .ASP.

I've managed to install MailEnable and get our email addresses working again but online it just won't work. I get the following error message when the system tries to send out an email:

    ================================

    Server object error 'ASP 0177 : 800401f3'

    Server.CreateObject Failed

    /nsemailcustomer.asp, line 467

    800401f3

    ================================

The code on line 467 is : Set Mail = Server.CreateObject("Persits.MailSender")

I don't know how popular MailEnable is (or if anyone has heard of it) but I'm open to any ideas to solve this problem.

    Anyway, thanks for reading.

    All the best

    Mick

  7. I now have the disk in front of me and it all appears genuine. It's the brown/gold holographic original CD and the Windows XP Professional OEM sticker also appears 'genuine' (must use a different word). When he bought the PC there was a 'hookey' version of XP on it. (Now I'm getting more of the story!) then he bought the 'official' version and the guy in the office installed it. Now I hear the guy went into registry and tried editing 'something' to get rid of the blue star in the task bar that tells you that your version of windows is not legal. (ha! I wonder if something went wrong there).

Lopburi is correct. I tried installing IE7 today but can't as the verification failed.

Mid: I don't suppose that you have that phone number handy?
