Although ... you do read the off stories of dog turning on owner / child, when it was so protective and obedient in the past. Rare but does happen, and always the 'headliner' breeds making the news of any incident. Survey (USA) says ... Poodles bite the most people.
My dogs have always not liked people I don't like, without encouragement. Would never snap at a family member, but possibly a stranger if not knowing how to approach a dog.
I also encouraged all my dogs, not to trust strangers, so need to be a bit more responsible when we are around strangers. Present best friend is a Jack Russell mix, and doubtful she would harm anyone, aside from a snap or 2, if you encroached her space.
Not this old no bad dogs just bad owner myth again, these dogs are natural born killers nothing to do with how stupid the owners are.

Thanks, I did all that last year and eventually the bank stopped charging the tax and after 6 months got the rebate. I still am not sure if they started charging tax on under 20k interest a year for all customers or just for foreigners, mrs never seems to get any tax on her savings. I assume you don't have to do this every year or they start deducting tax again?

We had this problem and the battery was quite new, took it back to the battery shop- no problem. Would not start again in central car park, the security guard fixed it. The terminals on the battery had just not been tighten up enough????

It is a tax report form for next year, just ignore it unless you can complete it yourself to report next year. I always ignore it and go to the Revenue Office to do my report for refunding tax paid.

Link to AXA insurance:
https://www.axa.co.th/en/axa-sawasdee-thailand-travel-insurance .
Coverage includes 750,000THB accident/sickness (including COVID-19), 850,000THB 3rd party liability and 1,000,000THB accidental death, murder!, dismemberment. Higher/additional coverage is also available.
Like nearly all insurance, it does not cover hotel quarantine costs or hospitalization that is not medically necessary.
why wont they let you take it out if in Thailand? no other company has this rule

Well I don't care what others quote me I would rather stay on topic than reply.
My position still is that from the beginning right or wrong on either side there is unnecessary loss of life.
What the Ukrainian President rhetoric has been is suicidal.
I believe he thought that NATO would come to his aid military.
That wasn't going to happen.
There are reports than Putin has been planning this for many years and expected the response maybe not as much as has happened in the way of sanctions.
All this war is, is food for the media.
I still believe that Ukraine even at this stage should surrender to terms to stop the war and loss of life.
At some stage Putin will be overthrown and the future could then lead to a better future than the one that is happening now and the way it's heading.
I expect your advice to Churchill would have been surrender after Dunkirk and for Stalin to give up at Volgograd, good job they did not and neither should Ukraine. How about the Americans surrendering in 1776?

They were even 'neutral' when the Japanese occupied Thailand, what can we expect from these cowards when it's some other people being invaded, killed and made homeless?

I find the visceral hatred of the Russian culture, Russian people, and by extension the Eastern ethnic Slavic race within Russia's borders among members of the AseanNow forums to be abhorrent in its lack of humanity.
You people should be ashamed, but you will double-down and keep up this vitriolic hatred probably for the rest of your lives. Very sad.
It reminds me of anti-Communist witch-hunt by McCarthy-ites in the United States during the 1950s. You'd think we'd learn from history, but that never happens. We just keep repeating the same hatred, and in the West, Russia is always a prime target.
Nobody in a county's general public is responsible for their government's foreign policy decisions.
Wishing harm on the Russian people because they are from Russia is inhuman. Grow a soul people. Hatred like this is inexcusable.Nobody has even hinted they 'hate' Russian culture, however, some things need to be hated such as unprovoked invasions, shelling civilian populations including schools and hospitals, making millions of people refugees. People voted for Putin and most support him so the general public do bear some responsibility for his lies and murders. 'Hate' has become an over used word to demonize anyone with an opinion people don't like.

The people with whom I have communicated with in Russia, who are all under 50, seem to think it's all the fault of Ukraine and that Russia is the good guy in this scenario. They have no idea of what is really happening and pointedly don't want to discuss it nor entertain any kind of alternative viewpoint. Brainwashed is the term.
Yes they are brainwashed by Putins state BS-
Ukraine is really Russian
Nato is threatening us
Ukraine is ruled by neo Nazi's (won 2% at the last election)
Therefore military action is needed to protect Russia and free Ukraine

They elected him, they put up with him, they mostly support him. The people being discriminated against are the Ukrainians being murdered, not a few tourists on a tropical get away.

Not just teachers is it, a few Dr's I have seen don't like questions either. Always try to see one that has spent some time abroad for education or work.

I was,
on the basis of a positive test, without having seen a doctor, an ambulance took me from the hotel's underground parking lot to a hospitel where I had to stay ten days with very bad food. I never saw a doctor but every morning a nurse came in to take my vital signs only. Insurance paid everything, about 120,000 thb. I didn't advance a single satang though this was only confirmed upon day 11 check-out.
It wasn't a false positive, I had my own ATK test kit with me and tested myself; result was also positive.what insurance company did you use?

The 'Get Started' link is near the bottom. You can start it any time, but you can't finish and submit it until 3 days before arrival (not 2 days, sorry!)
They must have changed that recently then, it was 48 hours, not much point to it anyway
Wireless rechargeble mouse for Macbook Air?
in Apple Products
Posted
Bought Macbook Air last week 29600 baht with the education discount came with a free Apple USB/HDMI dongle. Don't fancy forking out 2-3k for an Apple mouse, or getting a piece of rubbish from China for 100 baht. Any decent one non battery available?
