    I don't understand the right wing obsession with the delay tactics. If they were convinced their boy was innocent surely they'd want the trials over and done with before the 2024 election. There's very much a public interest in knowing the outcome of these trials before the election so people can make informed choices. Judges unduly delaying the trials are interfering in elections by not getting them done as soon as possible.

Conservatives, especially the religious are all about conformity. Many have a military background where conformity is ingrained in their thinking, hence the term "institutionalized". Unified in their belief in the church and rejection of science.

    It's reasonable to assume that a major reason for Xi not invading Taiwan is the US and western reaction to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

    It's standard operating procedure to shoot dead any person who points a gun at police, particularly an AR-15 or similar assault rifle and especially after making threats to kill police.
