  1. The man who was convicted of murdering George Floyd lost his appeal. https://www.rawstory.com/chauvin-appeal-denied/
  2. So you're in favor of it being that way? I believe racists are scum.
  3. "The Republican Party must fight fire with fire, and right now, or it will be extinguished!!!" Trump posted. "The Republican Party must get tough, now. This is the strong sentiment that’s flowing through the veins of Patriots. DO SOMETHING!!!"
  4. We don't all have to become Amish to want to do something about fossil fuel overuse.
  5. Trump further added that the letter gave him "a very short 4 days to report to the Grand Jury, which almost always means an Arrest and Indictment."
  6. The deep state are on to him. Former President Donald Trump said Tuesday that he has received a letter informing him that he is a target of the Justice Department’s investigation into efforts to undo the results of the 2020 presidential election. Trump made the claim in a post on his Truth Social platform. https://apnews.com/article/trump-jan-6-investigation-2020-election-7caa4d45b9dc287af868aa12f87fe254
  7. Are you attempting to insinuate that those labs had anything to do with making biological weapons? If so, put up some evidence.
  8. Maybe not "ill" as such but there's a lot of research that shows there's something not quite right. From a psychological perspective, people living in regions that voted for Trump in both elections have higher levels of neuroticism, a personality trait characterised by negative emotions such as anxiety, fear and anger. Those who have higher levels of neuroticism agree with statements such as “I see myself as someone who worries a lot” and as someone who feels “depressed, blue”. But circumstantial factors were also at play: people in poorer areas were more likely to vote for Trump, as were white voters and those prone to anti-Black racial bias. https://www.imperial.ac.uk/business-school/ib-knowledge/management/neuroticism-deprivation-and-racial-bias-trumps-unique-authoritarian-appeal Trump supporters in the current research supported Trump’s ostensible interests and positions regardless of what those interests and positions were, a finding that could explain the attempted January 6th insurrection and other attempts to undermine the results of the 2020 election in Trump’s favor, such as the biased ‘Cyber Ninja’ ballot audit in Arizona. Meanwhile, the American left is much faster to lose support for Democratic leaders such as Joe Biden https://www.mdpi.com/2075-4698/11/3/113 No one factor describes Trump’s supporters. But an array of factors – many of them reflecting five major social psychological phenomena can help to account for this extraordinary political event: authoritarianism, social dominance orientation, prejudice, relative deprivation, and intergroup contact. Research on the topic demonstrates that these theories and concepts of social psychology prove centrally important in helping to understand this unexpected event. This paper describes the supporting data for this statement and demonstrates the close parallels between these American results and those of research on far-right European supporters. https://jspp.psychopen.eu/index.php/jspp/article/view/4993/4993.html
  9. Possibly because this comment was made 15 years ago and has since been addressed by Biden?
  10. No, I think some idiot purposely made a meme usig photoshop. I don't believe that it's a genuine Amazon ad.
  11. Just right wing talking points. The US was definitely designed to be ruled by a majority. ‘America Is a Republic, Not a Democracy’ Is a Dangerous—And Wrong—Argument Enabling sustained minority rule at the national level is not a feature of our constitutional design, but a perversion of it. https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2020/11/yes-constitution-democracy/616949/
  12. Oh, right. Amazon know the truth. Which far right hate site did you get this from?
  13. Next time, produce some credible evidence as required instead of regurgitating Tucker Carlson lies / talking points. Theory About U.S.-Funded Bioweapons Labs in Ukraine Is Unfounded Prominent conservative voices have mischaracterized remarks from American officials to amplify baseless claims promoted by Russian state media. There is no evidence to support the claims, which President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine, the White House, the Pentagon and the State Department have all unequivocally denied. There are biological laboratories inside Ukraine, and since 2005, the United States has provided backing to a number of institutions to prevent the production of biological weapons. But Tucker Carlson, the Fox News host, and others have misleadingly cited remarks from American officials as proof that the labs are producing or conducting research on biological weapons. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/03/11/us/politics/us-bioweapons-ukraine-misinformation.html How the false Russian biolab story came to circulate among the U.S. far right "The Kremlin is intentionally spreading outright lies that the United States and Ukraine are conducting chemical and biological weapons activities," U.S. State Department spokesperson Ned Price said earlier this month. He and other officials warn that Russia was working to create pretexts for its attacks on a sovereign nation. The biolab conspiracy theory is an example of how Russian narratives can be seized on and refined by conspiracy theorists in the U.S., who can often spread false narratives far more effectively than Russia's own efforts. https://www.npr.org/2022/03/25/1087910880/biological-weapons-far-right-russia-ukraine
  14. It's a good thing. No one person knows everything, except Trump. No one person can do everything, except Trump. Other mere mortals listen to expert advice and act accordingly, instead of just figuring out what's good for himself personally and winging it. That's how our political systems are designed. Even Trump acknowledged that by saying he'd hire the best people. Problem was he fired most of them or they left because he wouldn't listen to them. Thank Giod Biden does the right thing.
  15. What a lot of intolerant tripe. What's wrong with the article is the premise that transgenders are changing sex and that they were of one sex and changed to the other. That is a false predicate. The overwhelming majority of gender affirmation treatments is to correct or alleviate issues relating to the patient not being of one gender or the other in the first place. Newsweek need to be called out for this garbage.
  16. Title is about upgrading from windows 7.
  17. Not quite right, only in a technical sense. He will be backed by the No Labels dark money group who just coincidentally are the main Republican donors. His role is not to win an election but to spoil it for the Democrats. The chances of Dem or swing voters buy this guy's extremism is minimal, however, it's just another spanner in the toolbox. Third party candidates can never win, they are just about messaging. Even if they could win they don't control either house or senate.
  18. Same. The problem is that the web page doesn't have and can't get focus at least the first time the site is opened in a browser. This is likely to be an underlying javascript bug in the software they use and outside the direct control of AN I suspect.
