I wouldn't rule out seeing something close to those prices again. I like DOT and would buy at when It drops sufficiently. EGLD I'm not so sure about. These days I would stick to only the top ten by market cap except for very small hoddle plays.

I have a put on it from about 26,200 (no leverage). The recent dip was the SEC announcement then it had a double bottom and RSI bullish divergence so it recovered what it lost but no more than that. I'm still in the bearish camp.

Did I say all debt? Even Trump inherited debt from the GFC. Donald Trump Built a National Debt So Big (Even Before the Pandemic) That It’ll Weigh Down the Economy for Years The growth in the annual deficit under Trump ranks as the third-biggest increase, relative to the size of the economy, of any U.S. presidential administration, The combination of Trump’s 2017 tax cut and the lack of any serious spending restraint helped both the deficit and the debt soar. Trump’s tax cuts, especially the sharp reduction in the corporate tax rate to 21% from 35%, took a big bite out of federal revenue. https://www.propublica.org/article/national-debt-trump

Target 24k. If that fails then 19k or more likely the previous low of 16k. If they fail, pick a number.

Translation: 3 people weren't charged for shoplifting. Why should I be charged for bank robbery?

I will repeat, most don't pay significant taxes at all and make obscene profits. Additional profit tax would only be a component. Tax on existing profits must be applied under a new international agreement. If the imposition of any reasonable corporate taxes, say similar to individual taxes, was enforced on companies and that caused a shareholder exodus that wouldn't be a bad thing. The economic and stock market monopoly enjoyed by ever fewer corporations (monopolies, mergers and acquisitions) is the primary driver of this automation fueled job losses. Mega corporations are what is essentially wrong with society.

Is Harry about to get kicked out of the US ?
ozimoron replied to Social Media's topic in UK & Europe Topics and Events
Several issues: 1. Heritage Foundation. The single most evil and corrupt organization in the US, mainly responsible for the nomination of Catholic conservative judges for the supreme court. 2. An admission in a book from long ago is small potatoes. He is Robinson Crusoe. Chances of Harry being deported? Isn't worthy of a response. -
Senate Judiciary Committee Chair Dick Durbin issued a statement last month calling for “the full extent of Mr. Crow’s and the corporations’ gifts to Justice Thomas, what other individuals were able to gain special access to Justice Thomas and any other Justices via the travel and lodging provided, and whether those individuals had interests before the Supreme Court.” Crow claims the request to review the gifts is unconstitutional and has declined to comply. “Given the sobering separation of powers concerns at stake, Crow’s contempt of the U.S. Congress is truly contemptible.” https://www.rawstory.com/harlan-crow/

Rebuilding communities after natural disasters has largely become the role of migrant workers. But they’re often taken advantage of by untrustworthy recruiters, have their wages stolen, and work under dangerous conditions. Many are undocumented and, as a result, make less money on average; at the height of the Katrina rebuild, undocumented workers earned $10 per hour compared to $16 for those who were documented. https://www.fastcompany.com/90794216/desantis-didnt-want-migrants-in-florida-now-theyre-helping-rebuild-the-state https://www.tampabay.com/hurricane/2022/11/11/migrant-workers-leave-florida-ian-cleanup/ Later in the news conference, CNN’s Boris Sanchez asked DeSantis whether he had any response to reports that Venezuelans in New York were being recruited to work on recovery efforts, and whether the governor would also be trying to send those migrants back north. https://edition.cnn.com/2022/10/06/us/migrant-workers-hurricane-ian-response-cec/index.html

That line of questioning goes to the heart of Smith’s challenge in any criminal case he might bring – to prove that Trump and his allies pursued their efforts despite knowing their fraud claims were false or their gambits weren’t lawful. https://edition.cnn.com/2023/04/05/politics/election-voting-machines-trump-national-security/index.html

It will once unemployment and wealth inequality reaches exhaustion levels of critical mass. In other words when enough people decide it's a good idea. The rate of job loss is expected to increase dramatically in the coming years with self driving vehicles (over 3% of US workers drive for a living) and AI taking many white collar jobs which is a new phenomenon. There are over 1,419,427 delivery drivers currently employed in the United States. https://www.zippia.com/delivery-driver-jobs/demographics/ In 2018, 1.7 million workers – 2.1% of all hourly paid workers – had wages at or below the current federal minimum wage
