That said, I acknowledge that many politicians on both sides were suckered by the lies perpetrated by the CIA to support Cheney's business interests. I was too. I supported the war, based on Saddam Hussein having gassed the Kurds, until I discovered that it was all a lie.

    I have common knowledge of most US political events and claims by the far right press do not amount to facts. Rules are rules and claims to fact must be supported by links. A quick reading of the rules shows that it isn't optional.

    Sorry, I'm taking the advice of medical authorities (not just the CDC) over media with a proven bias every time. Masks haven't hurt me yet.

    I have quoted a number of credible sources from medical authorities other than media outlets in various threads to support that masks reduce the spread of covid by non trivial amounts.

    You probably need to quote the evidence that the MSM media KNEW it was pushing lies. I paid close attention at the time and read nothing to that effect. All I saw was Cheney and the CIA claiming there was WMD.

    I noticed several Russians touting ping pong shows in walking street last night. Annoying. For whatever reason the number of touts for these shows is at an all time high.

    If that's the same article it's an opinion piece quoting an anonymous source. It's true that Dems would prefer a nominee other than Biden but that's because the Dem base is younger than the Republican base.

    Well, I can't claim she isn't biased. My experience is the overwhelming majority of street food vendors wear masks and virtually all indoor serving staff wear them. That's all. Certainly mask wearinh among the general population has fallen off but not among serving staff outside of bars.

    She does that not because of a dislike for farangs but it is a convention here in Thailand that serving staff always wear masks, at least they do in Pattaya. When a customer arrives she puts on a mask. Quite normal behaviour.
