After Trump’s NH win, Biden gets the opponent he wants

I did. He laughed in a photo I saw with the now dead guy. I forget his name. -
What a bunch of racist BS.

On whether Trump will pay damages: “I think he’s gonna have to pay – and whether it requires him to sell something or to put a lien on something to get a loan, that’s his problem, not ours. He’s gonna pay, and Judge (Lewis) Kaplan, through judgment-enforcement mechanisms, will make sure that he pays. And indeed, even to take the appeal, he’s going to have to at least put up a bond of 20% of the amount.” https://edition.cnn.com/politics/live-news/trump-trial-e-jean-carroll-01-26-24/index.html

David Johnston, the author who penned the biography "The Making Of Donald Trump," suspects the $83.3 million a nine-member jury verdict in the second defamation trial brought by writer E. Jean Carroll against Donald Trump will force him to prove he has the coin. "We may discover just how many smoke and mirrors [there are]," said Johnston during an appearance on CNN's "Anderson Cooper 360."

Had he shut up it might have been different. There was a compelling legal need to make him shut up. He did not have a 1st amendment right to defame his victim as he claimed.

Evcen if Hamas is using hospitals it's a war crime to bomb them or to endanger patients within them in any way. Specific protection of medical establishments and units (including hospitals) is the general rule under IHL. Therefore, specific protection to which hospitals are entitled shall not cease unless they are used by a party to the conflict to commit, outside their humanitarian functions, an "act harmful to the enemy". In case of doubt as to whether medical units of establishments are used to commit an "act harmful to the enemy", they should be presumed not to be so used. https://www.icrc.org/en/document/protection-hospitals-during-armed-conflicts-what-law-says

Yep, all he could say was that he disagreed and would appeal the verdict. The damages verdict that is. The risk is that he will again defame Carroll in the appeal and damages will become eye watering.

Trump is dominating the primaries. That doesn’t mean he’ll beat Biden

This is the racist trailer trash who support Trump A trucker convoy heading down to the southern border is using apocalyptic rhetoric to describe its desire to hunt down migrants illegally entering the United States. Vice reports that the convoy, which is calling itself "God's Army," is launching a campaign called "Take Our Border Back" to drive undocumented immigrants and asylum seekers out of the country. And the rhetoric about representing God in this quest isn't just metaphorical, as they believe they have a divine calling to force foreigners out of the country, writes Vice. https://www.rawstory.com/army-of-god-trucker-convoy-heads-to-southern-border/ -

It has to hurt. Giuliani was hit with a huge amount because he wouldn't shut up. I saw an argument that it has to be calculated on reputational harm done but it's hard to see the Georgia vote workers suffered reputational harm to the value they were awarded.
