  1. Four months like Khun Jim mentioned. "The CDC has approved a second COVID-19 booster for people age 50 and older that can be given 4 months after a first booster. People with moderate to severe immunosuppression are also eligible to receive an additional shot. The CDC has also approved a second COVID-19 mRNA booster (Pfizer or Moderna) for people who received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and booster. The second booster can be given 4 months after the first booster." https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/conditions-and-diseases/coronavirus/booster-shots-and-third-doses-for-covid19-vaccines-what-you-need-to-know I believe it's a just a month if you we're unfortunate enough or not able to get an mRNA vaccine and were only offered either Sinopharm or Sinovac. "In case that 2 doses of Sinovac or Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine were given: Moderna COVID-19 vaccine should be administered 1-3 months apart from the second dose of Sinovac or Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine" https://www.bangkokhospital.com/en/content/questions-about-moderna-covid-19-vaccine
  2. Get the booster shot. Pfeizer is free at many places. Moderna is supposed to be very good. Perhaps mixing them makes a good idea according to some reports.
  3. Just noticed Bangkok Bank Sakon Nakhon Robinsons branch is shuttered. I liked to do the banking there because parking, air-conditioning, and pleasant lunch afterwards. Now its only in an old building with virtually no parking and the usual 45 minutes take a number wait. Oh well.
  4. Good luck young man! Sorry to hear about your predicament.
  5. Also, they include people who transfer planes within Thailand to reach other destinations.
  6. I actually think it'll be available everywhere like corn or Chang. I'm surprised If haven't seen it sold more at outdoor markets in villages. There's plants sprouting everywhere in our village.
  7. Not for the pope as well as others according to one OP.
  8. I think the cannabis thing he pushed is the only good thing he accomplished. He's widely disliked outside of his inner circle. In due time Hopefully he'll be replaced by someone actually knowledgeable about health. Perhaps even someone in the medical field.
  9. Hopefully they have discounts and parking for senior citizens.
  10. You need to get the drain cleared out. Perhaps get the city out or hire someone to do it. Nightmare not getting along with a neighbor. Causes a lot of undue stress.
  11. Sounds fair. Hopefully you can only accumulate 1 pont per day. Long drives with speed cameras one could easily get 3 or 4 tickets (points). Drunk driving should be automatic suspension or something more substantial. It's going to be very hard for poor families to afford car seats. There usually 3000-5000 baht. Government should subsidize them.
  12. It's just a connection to the inlet that snaps on. One comes with the machine. There also available at most hardware stores and Lazada. Easily rinsed out and reused. The one below is 50 baht.
  13. With insurance, food, etc It's really easy for a family to rack up debt. There's very little work even if you live in a city like Bangkok. My wifes friend was happy to get a 200 baht a day job working at a restaurant 10 hours a day. Depressing to think about.
  14. Definitely a shortage of qualified doctors in Sakon Nakhon. It's a hospital in name only. We usually head to Udon Thani if one of us is ill. There's no way Sakon Nakhon Hospital could manage a big wave.
  15. Impossible. Maybe they'll pick another hobby that might accomplish something.
  16. Same old actors. It's like a bad movie that never ends but your forced to watch.
  17. Sorry to hear about all the fuss at immigration. If you do go it'll be interesting to hear about how it went.
  18. That's probably already been sorted out. Reminds me of the vaccine fiasco at the beginning of the pandemic.
