Arrived in Thailand and told to use Morchana app (by law)
MrJ2U replied to cyril sneer's topic in COVID-19 Coronavirus
I use it occasion (the app) when entering a large mall occasionally. It does track your location when you use it. Thats the reason to use it. Nobody is going to care if you use it or not. If a swat team does come just quickly download it again before they knock the door down. -
Check the Weather Channel App. It's got good reviews and personally think its very good. Also it's got lots of other information as you scroll down.

If you can't get and buy it easy its not going to be popular. Seems like such a hassle. Pots not as popular as it once was, also. Meth is the drug of choice. It's cheap and the local cops always have a supply for sale. -

Fire breaks out in Pattaya police dormitory, alarming residents
MrJ2U replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
If you have ever seen the "Police Dormitory" in Pattaya you'd agree that it is probably one of the ugliest buildings in Pattaya. Soviet Era gulag style. Beachside ghetto. Probably the best thing. It's bad for Pattaya's image. -

my bank and my tax returns ..problems
MrJ2U replied to Harveyboy's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
The Banks are supposed to report foreigners banks accounts. Easier to just report that get in trouble. It's a treaty that Thailand and almost any country that conducts Swift transfers has to adhere to. It's up to the particular person if he chooses to not adhere to the law and risk hefty fines and a huge headache. For me I report it. It Takes 15 minutes online. -
