  1. It must be pretty sluggish. With top end phones I find I barely even bother with my laptop anymore. Great to have though. Our kids use the laptops for online learning during the pandemic.
  2. You'll need a very newish computer. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/how-to-use-the-pc-health-check-app-9c8abd9b-03ba-4e67-81ef-36f37caa7844 Check for compatibility See if you’re eligible for upgrade. Go to your PC and download the PC Health Check app to see if your PC can run Windows 11.
  3. Hopefully it doesn't get to that. Even the juntas most ardent supporters wouldn't like to be spied on. What a paranoid government.
  4. There are safe places but on the other hand some places are definitely suicidal. It's not only the traffic there's potholes, stray dogs, wrong way motorcycles. Too bad, as you say Thailand can be a paridise for cycling, but also a deathtrap.
  5. Nice drive despite lots of construction here and there. Take your time and enjoy the trip. Hua Hin will be a nice rest stop. Maybe spend two or three nights there if you're not in a hurry. Enjoy your trip!
  6. Still waiting for children's Pfeizer vaccines they promised up in Sakon Nakhon. Whats the hold up now?
  7. I'm curious. I had 2 Pfeizer then a Moderna booster. My right leg and knee were numb. It got so bad I had to see a doctor. A friend who also got a Moderna booster had the same numbness in the leg, just not as bad. Despite that I'm glad I got the booster and encourage everyone to get vaccinated.
  8. It would be nice know what vaccine. I assume its Sinovac when they don't mention it.
  9. Sound's fun. What Thailand needs is a proper Sportsbook. Comfortable, lots beautiful waitresses, Big screen TV's. Cash Cow! And fun for the whole family.
  10. Biggest worry is the tab when you're forced into a private hospital and given the "farang" bill. You'll probably have a heart attack.
  11. Huge problem with no hospital beds and overwhelmed hospital staff. No ICU beds left in many provinces. People that want to come to Thailand can. Many do. People who want to come to Thailand but don't probably shouldn't because they won't be financially able to handle the chance of being hospitalized and are better off staying close to home. Hopefully things change in a few years.
  12. WOW. 1000.00. Be better spent on a little holiday 2 hours South in Hua Hin. Watch the game in your suite overlooking the beach! Less traffic and no hooligans.
  13. Government "yes" man and commonly refered to as the "village id**t".
  14. Yes! I'm second guessing if I should even go to the mall to pick up my pre-ordered Samsung Phone. In rhis situation everyone needs to make an informed choice. Once you get here there's not going to be much to do. Also insurance will be much harder to get once numbers of infections get out of control.
  15. 100,000 will completely collapse the already inadequate Thai Health services. The already fragile tourist operators are going to see massive cancelations. We'll see how the government's dependcy on Sinovac turns out.
